This company is all about price-gouging and taking advantage of the consumer! It appeared I was purchasing tickets from the actual venue - NOPE. And when I realized they charged me almost $48 MORE per ticket (I purchased 6) I called to request a refund and was denied. They told me an option is to go out to web and try to re-sell them on various sites. UNBELIEVABLE!

Ordered tickets. The tickets I received were for the wrong seats. Called multiple times to resolve put on hold for well over two hours total. Kept telling me to check my email for a resolution - no emails ever came. Have concerns about the validity of the tickets due to misinformation printed on them - agent kept waving it off as no big deal. Told them I wanted the seats for which I actually purchased the tickets. They told me the tickets I received were an upgrade - they were not and I explained that to them clearly. Kept giving me the same line and would do nothing to help resolve the issue and get me the tickets I actually purchased or issue a refund. Absolutely horrible company to work with.
They will charge you HUGE FEE'S they won't tell you about until you've already checked out. You'll never talk to a person when you have an issue. Their online system is a complete joke. I haven't gotten my tickets and they won't give me a refund. STAY AWAY, I don't care if they look cheaper do not use them! I'm having to buy them somewhere else and dispute the charge with AMEX. I even bought the insurance incase there was an issue. They said on the receipt "after the order was processed" that there was a problem they couldn't process the insurance. They basically said in chat that there is nothing they will do I should get my tickets eventually and that I should just try to resell them at that time. WTF!
I've had an awful experience this week. I googled an upcoming show and ticketsales.com was the first one that came up (I foolishly didn't understand it wasn't the direct venue's ticketsales site). I purchased the tickets, then got the email saying the would be sent to me 1 week before the event, which I thought seemed ridiculous since it's 4 months away. I quickly realized this was not directly from the venue. This site claims to sell tickets that a third party has purchased and has listed for sell. I went to the venue's box office online and the very tickets I had just purchased through ticketsales.com were available on their site as available for purchase - and for a significantly lower price. So, I'm sure I'll never receive these tickets I bought because nobody actually owns them.
I contacted their support team via e-mail and they're claiming everything is legitimate and are reassuring that I'll get my tickets when the seller has them (which will never happen). Because I DO actually want to see this show, I went ahead and bought seats from the direct venue website and had the actual tickets in my e-mail within hours... so I can verify that anybody who was trying to resell tickets for this show has no reason to need to wait until a week before the event.
Anyway... I'll probably never see the money again, but I'll certainly dispute the claim with my credit card company and hope for the best.
I accidentally purchased tickets for the wrong venue. I'm not even exactly sure how that happened. Once I got my email confirmation of my purchase, I noticed it was for a different venue. I immediately called to have the charges reversed and the agent that helped me said they could not do that! I feel trapped in a purchase I made by mistake.

Our experience with ticket sales.com was an absolute nightmare. We ordered tickets to "Frozen" 10 months in advance as an early Christmas present to our children. The week of the event our tickets still hadn't arrived. My husband was on the phone with them every day trying to find out where our tickets were. There were extremely long wait times to even talk to somebody and then we were just told to check our email for any correspondence they would be sending to resolve the issue. We never received any emails. After about 12 live chats with them, the day before the event, they finally just told us to use our insurance to get our money back. There was nothing they could do to help us. My husband was very persistent and got in touch with them again. This lady he chatted with finally seemed helpful and said she would cancel the barcode on the tickets and issue us new ones that we could pick up at Eccles theater. She assured us we would have our tickets in time for the show but sure enough, late the night before the event we did finally get an email that basically told us we were out of luck. Needless to say our children were heartbroken. We thought we were doing everything right to order our tickets so early but when they wait until the last minute to send them and they get lost in the mail (supposedly) then there's "nothing they can do". What a huge disappointment.

Tickets for the event at $65 each, I bought two tickets, i thought the total was $241 turns out it was $241 each USD so two tickets at $65 each cost me $641 in total. They suck you in because they sell tickets in advance of everyone else but you don't know that at the time.
You can not contact the company, can not phone email or chat with them - every attempt to resolve this extreme rip off has been thwarted. They have at least three different phone numbers onthe web when you google them and the email address you are given when you buy the tickets returns undeliverable. The phone is always "experiencing high call volumes and can not get through.
I have contacted my credit card company but they say if I get "real" tickets - too bad. Never use this company they are thieves to the fullest.

I got tickets to a comedy show in SLC. My husband and I had been looking forward to this for months, got a hotel room and everything. When we got to the show we were turned away because we did not have a negative covid test or proof of vaccine. No where on the ticket, the email or the confirmation did it advise us of that or even mention that we should check with the venue for restrictions. The venue was giving refunds to anyone that was not informed but since this ticketsales.com is from a third party, we could not get one. Rest assured the person who sold us the tickets through ticketsales.com received a refund. I inquired about a refund from ticketsales.com since the owner was refunded but was told they will not give refunds period. So much for customer service. An absolutely horrible experience with this company. First, the estimated prices are SO inaccurate. Listing for "starting from $30" in a section and then showing $96/ticket only afterward with no ability to see more detail on where the seats are. The text sizes used on this site to show it's the price PER ticket (ea) is SO small and does NOT pass accessibility standards. Fees are not disclosed and even the face value is not disclosed until after you purchase. The total is not confirmed nor does the website provide any feedback for the user. Very poor user experience design. When I finally saw the total price it was too late to make changes and I was already changed, catching me completely by surprise. I called immediately to see if they could cancel the purchase and was met with a robotic script full of "sorry there's nothing we can do". Which is a total lack of customer service and incompetence as a company. Instead of consolidating the instructions into 1 email you get 3-4 emails with multiple steps to follow. What a headache! Would HIGHLY recommend not going through this site and finding a LEGITIMATE ticket sales company instead. I paid probably triple what these tickets are actually worth with no way at all to get a refund. The prices are way cheaper on the actual websites. This is a SCAM.
