Bought tickets in New Zealand on MY ticketmaster account and need to sell them. For some stupid reason ticketmaster have a rule that you can buy tickets anywhere in the world but you can only sell them if you're American or have an American bank account. So because I'm not American I'm about to lose $700 because in this day and age, they can't put the money onto the card I used to purchase tickets, or an international bank account like Transfer Wise which I also have.
Bought tickets, they never sent it to my email trued talking to someone is close to impossible only emails. The answer I got is go to the location where the show is and get your tickets at the counter...$300 and this. Seriously.
I bought tickets to a hockey game, had them re-listed for sale, but then canceled the listing. There is a glitch that will not allow the listing to be canceled, yet the listing says it is not active. I cannot access the tickets because they are "currently for sale" but yet I apparently have no active listings. So I called them, because I cannot even attend the event because I can't get access to them until the listing is canceled. Can't attend the game, can't sell, nothing. Their ONLY solution is to "wait". I paid $1500 for these tickets and if I can't attend the game, I'm going to rage.
Buyer BEWARE It may be a legitimate site, but the website address closely resembles that of Ticketmaster. Purchased 2 tickets for the MusicMan and the service fee was the same price as the seats@ telecharge. Why would anyone use this site charging for a non service. There is no cancellation or refunds. Please be careful and DO NOT purchase from this site. Sophistry is the tactic they use when promoting their site. I could not enjoy the show knowing that ticketfaster overcharged for (no reason) the mediocre ticket I purchased. Remember, Ticketfaster is NOT TicketMaster
I couldn't even make an account! After two hours of waiting and refreshing the verification text was never sent! Not even the phone call option I never received either so I couldn't buy my own tickets! I missed out on an amazing opportunity because I couldn't even make it far enough to the event page! It's infuriating, do better. I wouldn't even use Ticketmaster if it wasn't the only legitimate place to buy authentic tickets. What a let down.
I purchased tickets to a production while traveling to North Carolina. I am sad to say after a number of attempts I never received the tickets. Talking to a real person was not possible. This was the worst experience I ever had. NEVER AGAIN.
I bought Justin Bieber tickets in Denver for 2020 before COVID hit. It was moved from mile high stadium to Ball Arena. I had my order moved from the one venue to the other. Early in 2021 my order in my account disappeared! I have been fighting to get them back in my account since 2/2021. To date, they are NOT there. They tell me they will be there 3/13 3 days before the concert. This gives me NO way to transfer /sell tickets. Ticket master sucks. I am a long time concert goer. I recommend if you buy tickets from ticketmaster you save all your info. I also recommend to use a third party vendor like stub hub because it is clear to me TIcketmaster has NO CUSTOMER service whatsoever. For a year i have been unable to speak to a LIVE person. Buy your tickets third party.
Rating would be "0" if possible. The ticket price for Lion King at the GSR box office in the mid balcony is $134 for the day we wanted to go. There is a $4 service fee making the total ticket price $138. Unfortunately, we called TicketMaster to save some time and booked two seats in the mid balcony for $158 each ($316 total). The fees weren't seen until after we "paid" for the tickets. These exorbitant fees totaled $54.79 per ticket (109.58 total). In summary, the actual ticket price was 18% more than at the box office and the fees were 370% more than if we had driven to the box office at GSR and bought them. Yes, there were sufficient tickets available for the night we wanted to go, so we would have saved $185.58 by buying them at GSR. Since all sales are final, we have no recourse. When trying to call TicketMaster twice I ended up with dead air. Nothing. NEVER BUY FROM TICKETMASTER!
If you buy the tickets and yu go to the venue or concert everything will be perfect.
But if you dare to sell the tickets because you cannot go to the venue, they will retain the money for about a month and most of the time they will allow you to resell the tickets for a 10% of the price.
And they usually propose you and encourage you to pay for the insurance (Alliance). That is all a lie, when you try to claim your money back there is a limit amount to refund and they will ask you only specific reasons to get your money back and. Prepare to provide tons of documentations. Be aware, never buy Insurance for ticketmaster tickets. Never!
I purchased tickets to the Aerosmith, peace out tour in Dallas and delayed my move to Puerto Vallarta by three weeks so I could see the concert. The concert was canceled, we have no idea if it will be rescheduled, more importantly I will be living in Mexico. For Ticketmaster, which is part of Live Nation to say they're not refunding my money because there's a chance they might reschedule next year is just wrong. Even if they did reschedule six months later, I will no longer be in the country so they're basically stealing the department of Justice needs to go after these folks.
I had problems loading the barcodes on my app, so I listed the tickets to sell as I had a family emergency. If you email Ticketmaster they send links that don't work and if you call they say go to website and you get disconnected. I just lost $300 because I couldn't sell or give away the tickets. This is so unacceptable.
Hello: let me share my terrible experience with Ticketmaster.
Because of an apparent glitch in their system, I lost two good PROMO tickets
When i clicked <
<
But the order processing never stopped :( and i never got any confirmation about newly purchased tickets my account says no recently purchased tickets
Being afraid of charged twice, I didn't execute another purchasing but when I sent a kindest email to CS asking them to resolve the issue, after 48 hrs, I never got any replies expect for automated response that <
Be aware
Apparently having the monopoly of ticket sales is a good enough reason to have 0 customer service. No phone operators, user experience nightmare of a website. When you sell your tickets it takes 14+ days to receive your money after what seems a series of events that are crazy difficult. Why can't you just payback on the credit card? You are begging for Scalpers to re-sell your tickets for you.
I'll help you out
1) re-think your website and App they are both the lowest of lows, for a company that generates millions in profits every month spend a few thousand on User Experience and on User Interface.
2) CUSTOMER SUPPORT, you are in the service industry and have 0 support except for a FAQ that looks like it was written in 5 mins by someone who has never been on the site. Hire a 150K+/Year Customer Specialist and take care of your clients.
3) If you need any consultation for all these easy steps please reach out
Nonexistent customer service. I tried to transfer tickets from my phone, table and desktop before reaching out to customer service having tried to send both to an email address and a mobile number. Response was to "try from multiple devices." They don't read the chats you send at all. Responded, telling them I did that but I'll try the clear cache "trick" they suggested. I STILL have an error message and ZERO HELP whatsoever from Ticketmaster. This is not my first issue either, but bc theyre monopolizing the sale of concert tickets SOMEHOW, I'm sure it won't be my last. When is a good reliable, properly staffed with knowledgable, real people going to step in and save us from this APATHETIC - not my problem approach to customers. They don't care because they don't need to care without a real threat for competition. Call me, I'll invest like mad in whoever develops a better way. To attend a concert these days.
Why haven't I received a pdf of my tickets and why doesn't the booking reference on the tickets match the reference on my email. Why have I been sent etickets when I asked for printed tickets? Why were the tickets addressed to the wrong person? Why can't I sell my tickets on StubHub who say the tickets you have sent me are invalid?
The worst customer service ever, I bought tickets for a game that I couldn't attend because of COVID19 and they have no protocol for this type of situation! I contacted the organizer of the event and they told me that Ticketmaster is the one who has to return my money because that's where I bought my tickets!... conclusion? Lousy customer service! Which makes me think that if this situation has happened before, they allow covid infected people to attend the events! Since they don't offer any solution to it.
I have tried now for two weeks to purchase tickets for an event at Talking Stick Resort, in AZ. I keep getting the error when I try to purchase that, "It's not you - it is us" and please try again. I have spent a lot of time trying to contact TicketMaster to get through the error and find out why I cannot purchase tickets. Super disappointed in TicketMaster for not ensuring that I received the tickets and now I cannot take my niece to a show I promised. TicketMaster is the absolute worst company ever and gives the business a bad name.
THEY [play games with yr money sell tickets never send yr money fill out a form 2 weeks later yr bank wont except payment 2 weeks later change yr bank account no only way to get yr money is to take it back from your bank fill a claim don't even hesitate they are crooks
Ticket Master employees are well versed in their scheme of double-ticket purchases, with the "inference" of a refund, if the new purchase is equal to or of greater value. After numerous attempts to contact customer service (no calls allowed, only emails) about replacing previously purchased tickets and after receiving vague, confusing emails confirming my purchase was in fact eligible for a refund, so as the new purchase was equal to or greater in value, they've NOW made every attempt to disqualify my previous purchase with inconsistencies, alterations of their own policies and down-right denial. Even after they encouraged me to resale the original purchase, I've received a notice this option is not even available.
What a joke. What a scam. Did not attempt to get a full refund, only wanted to exchange dates for the same, on-going event just a week later, due to a private family conflict, and they've turned this experience (meant as a celebration) completely into one of the most unpleasant experiences, ever.
If you are thinking about buying Ticket Master products…. STOP. Use another vendor, if applicable, with a live customer service option and clear, concise refund/exchange policies, so you don't end up with 2 sets of tickets, 2 weekends in a role, with no other options, except a possible small s claims action.
I bought 3 tickets for the Miami marlins vs. Washington nationals at may 16th. I drove 4 hours from key west only for this game.
But guess what happened?
I went to stadium and I was still waiting my tickets. Ticketmaster never sent my tickets and I couldn't enter the game. I talked with an agent before about refund. 5 months passed and I still didnt get some information about my refund request. What kind of joke is that?
Look at the picture, its october and I still didnt get tickets for may
Answer: I had this exact same problem and after multiple attempts to contact TicketMaster customer service still haven't been able to get this issue resolved. Have been getting the runaround from TM "Fan Support" via Twitter for a week and a half now (PS - Twitter was the only avenue for contacting TM customer service where I actually got a response from someone - had also tried their toll free Cust Svc phone number and got a recording saying that phone number isn't being monitored; also tried emailing their Cust Svc email account and got auto-reply saying that isn't being monitored either and directing me to their Cust Svc FAQs which say that in order to reach Cust Svc, you need to log into your account - but of course I was blocked from being able to do that because they think I'm a bot). Good luck with this - hope you can get a response from them. I still haven't been able to get any resolution of this same issue with my TM account. Once I get this resolved, I'll never do business with them again!
Answer: No, mine was a price jump
