I have been a customer of The Popcorn Factory for almost a decade now. They have never failed to deliver what my Grandchildren believe is the best popcorn ever! They've delivered for me all over the U.S. and even Guam, as my son in law is in the Navy. These Popcorn deliveries are a special and cherished link between me and my family. I am so grateful.

I was a customer for many years but this year when I got my order in the mail in November it appeared to have been made in January. I called Customer Service to inquire about a refund and Hazel said NO but we will send you another bucket. I asked for a refund or I would have to leave a bad review to which she apologized but said go ahead and leave a bad review. That is the description of a company that is desperate to hang onto every dollar it gets. No more of my money will go to such a company with such a poor guarantee.

When you call this company, you get a pre-recorded message from a fluent English speaker that leads you to believe you're in good hands. That ends quickly once a live agent picks up. From that point, it's all downhill. Unfortunately, in this day and age, "corporate integrity" is an oxymoron..

Tip for consumers:
It's a headache just trying to communicate with these people. Hardly justifies their exhorbitant prices.

I ordered a couple items on 12/17/2023 expecting them to be delivered before Christmas. One item is now scheduled to be delivered 12/28/2023. I wrote to The Popcorn Factory asking for a refund of my delivery charge. They chose to ignore my request and have another unhappy customer.

Back in November, I ordered a popcorn gift to be delivered in December on or about the 20th. The first orde3r was delivered before Thanksgiving. Called an complained, Was informed another order will be placed for delivery on Dec. 20th at no charge. Well here it is Dec. 13th and the order is 7 days early! How come this is the only company on the interent that can get a delivery to the recipients a week early?
So much for ordering early o beat the holiday rush!

Got this as a gift and was really disappointed with the flavors and hard pieces pf popcorn. I had to throw it out it was like eating dry sticks. Poor quality popcorn used I guess.

I normally do not write reviews however I was so disappointed in the popcorn tin I got today. Besides the late delivery everyone writes about the 3.5lb tin of 3 flavors was mostly carmel and the cheddar popcorn had almost no flavor. This wouldn't be an issue but my family prefer cheddar and carmel is their least favorite. When I reached out to Customer Service to let them know they told me they would be disappointed too. This is the last time I order from the Popcorn Factory.

Tip for consumers:
order Garretts of Chicago. The Cheddar popcorn is 10x better and the mix is even.

Due to the COVID-19, I received my package a week later than expected and I do not blame anyone for that; however, when I ordered my bucket, I ordered it with a message and a personalized photo. That was never shown. I emailed and the customer service was great! I am getting a FULL refund!

I ordered a surprise gift for my granddaughter for winning a contest and 2 weeks later the package has not yet been delivered. I was told the gift would be delivered in a week but after talking to customer service they now they tell me 2-3 weeks due to the item being sent to Alaska.

I received a popcorn tin as a holiday gift. The popcorn is awful! All but one flavor is tasteless and leaves a bitter aftertaste. I am so disappointed. I have always thought popcorn factory was high quality this was the worst! I'd rather buy bagged popcorn from the store to fill the tin with. Do not waste your money!

Tins from The Popcorn Factory have been a part of our Christmas holiday family get togethers for as long as I can remember - 45 years of marriage. My wife always did the ordering.

She died earlier this year, and this year -2022- I continued the tradition for my grown children and grandchildren, albeit on a less-grand scale than my wife usually did.

I found their $26 shipping charge for basically a small $35,1.75 gallon tin of lightweight popcorn to be ridiculous. Some merchants are like that. They like to make extra money by having exorbitant shipping charges.

I know all about cheats. My parents were 100% grifters - con men - their entire lives. That's what The Popcorn Factory is now, apparently. Forget the Christmas Cheer. Probably, 'Holiday Cheer' to them.

After this order, I won't be ordering from them again. Nor will I be ordering any flowers from 1-800-Flowers.

But, I'm sure they have plenty of other naive American customers to keep them in business. My parents depended on people like that.

Tip for consumers:
Buy a decorative holiday tin at Walmart for $5. Make your own popcorn. Save $70.

If I could give "0" stars I would do so. I ordered on 8/20/21. Today I called and asked the status of the order as it has not been shipped. I was on a call with Rose in the Phillippines for 26 minutes. No answer. She wanted my phone number so a "supervisor can call you back later". WHAT? Then I was on a chat on the website and the CS person (?) got angry because I was upset for being on the phone for 26 minutes and having no answer. I finally got a cancellation and refund and now I get to find another gift. This company SUCKS!

Tip for consumers:
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. DON'T ORDER POPCORN, GET FRUIT OR A CAKE OR A PONY OR A DOG. DO NOT ORDER THIS CRAP!

No one will eat this popcorn in my family. I got the assorted bags of different flavored popcorn, and my son and husband said it's like trying to chew rocks. What a waste of money.

Ordered this as a present and personalized with a photo. My wife called to verify where the photo would appear on the tin, as this would influence the tin we chose. We were told the photo would appear on side. When it arrived the photo was attached on top, not printed on tin and not where the customer service person said it would be. For the very high price of this product I would expect better quality and a more knowledgeable staff. On the upside the popcorn itself was good and the shipping was quick. Not worth the expense, however.

I was told it was going to ship in 3 days and then when they order went through it said it would ship 10 days later. Which is way past the time that I needed it to be at the person's house. To get a full refund I would have to have called the person I sent the popcorn to and tell them to refuse the order so I can get a refund. Like I would ever do that. So now 10 days after the funeral they will get the gift. How embarrassing and customer service didn't do a thing about it. Don't waste your time or money.

So…21 days after ordering still no delivery. I called customer service and they told me that they couldn't access my account and that a supervisor would call me back. No call back. I did a chat online and they said they couldn't tell me what happened as they didn't have a tracking number. Never again! I would haven given 0 stars.

I place an order for 100 bags of popcorn on February 8 around 9am after placing order I was informed that I could not give popcorn as a gift. I immediately call to cancel my order and was told my order has been processed although it was only fifteen minutes later from when I placed my order. I later called back and I spoke with Amy. I explained to Amy what happened and ask her about speaking to manager or supervisor to complain. Amy continued to get more information from me like my order number and than ask if she could put me on hold to speak to her supervisor. Less than 2 minutes later she said she was unable to cancel order. Once again I ask her can I talk with a supervisor. She said, I can have a supervisor call you back in about a week and I said no I will wait. She continued to say that she was unable to get in touch with a supervisor. I said that you just put me on hold to speak with your supervisor so you are lying. Either you can not get in touch with a supervisor and therefore you never talk with a supervisor when you put me on hold. Then she said well I can't transfer the call. I ask is there a website I can go to for complaints and she said no and I ask is there an email. She did give me an email.

I am very upset on how this was dealt with. Every customer should be able to cancel an order especially if it was place less than an hour before canceling. This is not professional way to run a business.

Bought goodies for warehouse team. Paid for expedited shipping. Product never showed. I had to call them and try to find out why fedex didnt deliver. They said the goodies were "refused". The person called me asking where the goods were and said he didnt refuse anything. At this point they are sitting in a warehouse not far from destination. 3 dropped customer phone calls later we are calling it a loss and demanding a refund. I will never use this company again due to horrific customer service.

I placed a holiday gift order last week. Everything was correct on site and my bank immediately noted pending charge. A day later the charge cleared. I am a passport member and order from 1800Flowers frequently. They are excellent. I have also ordered many times from Personalization also excellent. Popcorn Factory horrible. I never received a confirmation and then checked account only to find no order. I spent an hour with the ‘chat folks' only to be told I never ordered anything. Then was given instruction to email PROOF of billing. I got a response quickly that apologized for my inconvenience and verified I was indeed a Passport member. Huh? My email provided ample evidence of the order and requested explanation why no order ‘according to them' existed. So I called the customer service number only to get a woman who, well, English was not her strong suit. I think she miraculously found the order but I would be a fool to trust this company so tried to cancel. She seemed to confirm this but refused to provide any verification and said it would take up to 15 days.

They sell a unique product. Honestly I'm searching for alternatives. But they are by far the worst online company I have ever dealt with and, trust me, I am a veteran online shopper.

Buyer beware - not worth the frustration.

I used the popcorn factory a year ago of course you have to use a credit card I found on my credit card receipt this year a year later two purchases were made on Dec 21 without my consent I called the popcorn factory asked for a manager explained the situation that someone there has my credit card number on file and they hung up on me. That was really poor customer service.

I ordered 3 items to be shipped to a neighbor for Halloween delivery. At no point did I receive any shipment updates stating that it would be late. Today, 12/21, I received an email that item #2 would go out for delivery soon. IT WAS HALLOWEEN CANDY. No shipment date provided for the actual Halloween Skull Candy popcorn tin. When I expressed my disappointment to customer service, they were apologetic but reassured me that they would ship out the missing two items at no additional cost to me... good thing, because I already paid for the order AND shipping. So I decided I'd find some local treats to give my neighbor 2 months late instead - and canceled my order. Popcorn Factory takes 30 days to refund your credit card. What a ripoff! Never again.

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother with the Popcorn Factory- you can get equally good items at local stores for less.

I payed alot to have my nephew's birthday gift arrive by a certain date, only to be told by email that the gift was being delivered after his birthday. Never use this company. They do not deliver as one requested. In conversation with them all I got was I am sorry but it is out of our hands and they blamed the carrier. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them. Very poor customer service

In mid Nov. I ordered a Christmas tin of popcorn for my friend in Pa. To make sure it would get to her before Christmas. FedEx claimed they delivered it, but I found out 6 days before Christmas day that she did not receive it. They wanted to replace what I ordered with a cheap looking tin of bagged popcorn that cost less than my original choice of product, and I refused. The replacement order I chose instead was listed as in stock and it was agreed upon that I would not pay any extra for the cost difference in price. Got a shipping email the next morning with no explanation and they shipped the bags of popcorn I did not want them to send due to what I did want being out of stock. It was stated in that email that I could not cancel this order. I will never order from this company again and canceled my order completely. The customer reps were friendly, but now my friend will not receive a Christmas gift from me this year due to this company's incompetence or shipping issues with FedEx. It's been a horrible experience that I will not repeat with this company. We'll see if they actually refund me in full. They even tried to get away with not refunding me the full amount of my first order that was never delivered, but I called them on it. Stay away! There's other popcorn companies
to order from.

Prior to Covid popcorn factory always delivered by the scheduled delivery date but my past two orders which were ordered a month in advance were both delivered 4-5 days past scheduled delivery date. I understand things are delayed but they have had plenty of time to plan shipping. Sending a gift to a child that arrives late is upsetting as the sender and the response from customer service is we will send you a $10 discount for next order- no thanks
