No one will eat this popcorn in my family. I got the assorted bags of different flavored popcorn, and my son and husband said it's like trying to chew rocks. What a waste of money.
I placed an order for 3 popcorn tins, going to separate addresses & for nearly 3 days I tried to receive confirmation emails for each of the 3 orders as they were gifts. So no order numbers when trying to check on website.
The Popcorn Factory kept telling me that the order confirmation emails were coming each day; for 3 days, nothing received.
Now, I tried to cancel order today and they said, sorry order was shipped.The message on the website clearly states that 'emails will be sent as soon as orders are shipped." Nothing received, again. So no order confirmation emails with distinct order numbers for each of the 3 orders placed, and now no shipping confirmation emails sent either.
And, no, these emails are not in Junk or Spam folders...
Run, don't walk fromn this company - it's a horrible experience.
I will be alerting my bank that I am disputing this charge. Save yourself heartache and time, don't ever use The Popcorn Factory for any gift item.
In October I ordered a 12 month popcorn subscription as a Christmas gift, which was confirmed by the company and assigned an order number. The subscription was to start in December 2020, which I paid for at the time of the order, but nothing was delivered. I contacted the company on January 11,2021 and was told the December order was cancelled (without my knowledge) but was assured the deliveries would restart in January. On January 29, after no delivery was made again, I contacted the company and was first told January's flavor was out but they'd substitute another flavor. They soon emailed again to say that they couldn't do the sub because the order was cancelled, again without my knowledge. I told them to forget the whole thing and ordered a gift from a reputable company. I still have never received a refund of the first payment, but they are blaming it on my bank! Don't buy anything from this company if you value your money and your sanity.
I have ordered many times before but always as gifts and online. This time I called and placed my order and this time had the $125 order sent to me.
First, it took me 52 minutes to place an order for 4 things, all the same item but different color bags. Apparently the Popcorn Factory call center is in the Philippines. I could barely understand him and honestly he could not understand me. Had I known jobs were in another country, I would never had place this order.
Second, I ordered 4 of the Peace, Believe and Joy popcorn bags. They did not look like the pictures in catalogs. It shows clear bags filled with popcorn with ribbons. The fact is the burlap bags were filled with small snack bags that said popcorn factory on them. These bags of popcorn made the whole gift look cheap.
Do not waste your money. You could go to a gas station and fill a bag with bags of snacks and get the same affect.
As cute as the products on the website look, it doesn't matter when the popcorn is stale. I was so disappointed, I've been sending these items to friends and family for years and just decided to try it myself, I was embarrassed.
After waiting for 5 or 10 minutes, I placed my 7 orders(to Germany, PR and to the US). They were EXACT re orders from last December, however it took 50 minutes finish! The cust serv rep spoke broken english and was very difficult to understand. When I received my order confirmation, half of the addresses were incorrect and changed. It took another 45 min to clear it up talking to someone who also spoke broken english. As of Jan 6th, 3 of the 7 orders had not been delivered, but were "pending for unknown reasons"... NEVERMORE!
I ordered a Birthday Gift tower on 5/20/20... Supposed to get delivered today 6/8... I called my niece to verify she received her gift (Late) and she said No... I called customer service and they said the tower was on back order and could be delivered in July... GRRR... I never received notice of this... they attempted to substitute with cheaper tins of popcorn... I was not about to pay 54$ for a tin of popcorn... finally after 30 mins did they substitute with a slightly more expensive item and I was able to get them to expediate shipping
I ordered a popcorn tin on 12/6/19 as an christmas gift. I received an email on 12/8/19 that my order was cancelled due to incorrect expiration date. I reordered same product as gift to go to same person on 12/9/19. I checked the status of package on 12/12/19, I then noticed there were two identical orders going to same house. They charged my card 2x I asked to please cancel one of orders they said they couldnt due to it was in transit to be delivered on 12/14/19. They said tell recipient to refuse one and then they would refund me in 20 days. Basically an oh well! I called today 12/19/19 to see where delivery was and they said tomorrow. The company has terrible customer service! I will never order from them again. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY
When I was placing an order on line, it would not take the discount code. I called the company BEFORE I placed the order and the person said he would make an adjustment as soon as the order was placed. That never happened. I was charged the full amount and have been fighting with them for over a month to get the $10 they owe me. I was told after the first conversation that the refund would occur 7-10 days after the date of delivery. That never happened. I contacted them again, and again, and last was told that the $10 would be credited within 7 days. I still haven't received it. I've used this company in the past, and the popcorn is okay, very expensive for what you get.
Placed an order with plenty of time for Christmas delivery. Didn't even ship. Horrible customer service. Didn't even seem to care that it wasn't hand well. In mid Nov. I ordered a Christmas tin of popcorn for my friend in Pa. To make sure it would get to her before Christmas. FedEx claimed they delivered it, but I found out 6 days before Christmas day that she did not receive it. They wanted to replace what I ordered with a cheap looking tin of bagged popcorn that cost less than my original choice of product, and I refused. The replacement order I chose instead was listed as in stock and it was agreed upon that I would not pay any extra for the cost difference in price. Got a shipping email the next morning with no explanation and they shipped the bags of popcorn I did not want them to send due to what I did want being out of stock. It was stated in that email that I could not cancel this order. I will never order from this company again and canceled my order completely. The customer reps were friendly, but now my friend will not receive a Christmas gift from me this year due to this company's incompetence or shipping issues with FedEx. It's been a horrible experience that I will not repeat with this company. We'll see if they actually refund me in full. They even tried to get away with not refunding me the full amount of my first order that was never delivered, but I called them on it. Stay away! There's other popcorn companies

I called on 11/20/2020 to place an order and in the course of 2 weeks plus, was given 5 different quotes then... was told the item I had originally ordered was no longer on sale. The person I was in contact with, Kassandra Quintana, was the absolute worst person I have ever had to deal with. I tried numerous times to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she was rude, did not accept my apts. Gave me fake managers name and was horrible at customer service. You could never get a hold of her during the day and she would leave messages at the end of the day when I was no longer working. I work in a large company and have told my peer group of 176 folks to NEVER order from this company again. Total waste of time, very frustrating and no customer service training. Luckily I cancelled the order before I was charged for it so I guess I can consider myself lucky. I would rate it NO STARS but had to in order to get this review to go thru!
I was going to ship some popcorn for Halloween to my grandchildren. The ads said that "regular" shipping was 3-5 days. When I got on line, the first order I tried to place was to a grandchild in college. The website would not accept the address for the college and the box number for my student there. Then I decided to move on to another grandchild and I would call about the one in college. When I got the second order placed and was into the shipping section, I discovered that it would take much longer than 5 days for the item to ship, unless I wanted to pay an outrageous sum for faster shipping. I felt duped and did not complete the order. Never did call them about the order for the college student-just decided not to do business with this company.
Popcorn factory is the worst online company i have ever tried to ordrer anything from. I tried two times to make gift purchases neither worked. Both order takers and the customer service rep were completly incompetent. Very sad...
I payed alot to have my nephew's birthday gift arrive by a certain date, only to be told by email that the gift was being delivered after his birthday. Never use this company. They do not deliver as one requested. In conversation with them all I got was I am sorry but it is out of our hands and they blamed the carrier. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them. For the price of their products, I expected super gourmet popcorn. The reality is that the popcorn is just OK, and I could buy the same quality at Walmart for a fraction of the price. Don't waste your money thinking that you are purchasing high quality, gourmet popcorn.
I ordered 3 items to be shipped to a neighbor for Halloween delivery. At no point did I receive any shipment updates stating that it would be late. Today, 12/21, I received an email that item #2 would go out for delivery soon. IT WAS HALLOWEEN CANDY. No shipment date provided for the actual Halloween Skull Candy popcorn tin. When I expressed my disappointment to customer service, they were apologetic but reassured me that they would ship out the missing two items at no additional cost to me... good thing, because I already paid for the order AND shipping. So I decided I'd find some local treats to give my neighbor 2 months late instead - and canceled my order. Popcorn Factory takes 30 days to refund your credit card. What a ripoff! Never again.

I placed an order with the popcorn factory 2 weeks before the delivery was due. The order was for my nieces. The first order arrived 1 week overdue and the second order was lost the first time and I was not informed of it and was lost a second time after I called and was told that they would cover the shipping costs and would guarantee that my gift would arrive on the date they specified. I called on the specified date and the order was lost, again, if I had not called. I would not have known.
Don't waste your time and money with these people, I will not ever again!
This review is for the popcorn factory online (thepopcornfactory.com). The store and online store are one in the same - I checked. Extremely poor service. Orders are not consolidated. For example, one order to a vet office is separated so they receive 1/2 the order for their party and the other order arrives days later. One order which was supposed to be delivered today is just now shipping today. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend purchasing from this company. I should have looked at the reviews first before purchasing. With Yelp they are rated at 2 stars! That should tell you something! They are also under the umbrella of 1-800 Flowers. That should also tell you something. That site receives poor reviews as well.
