We had a major rehab on out house last year and we ordered a variety of supplies/fixtures to make our place a home. I had to call customer service many times and I always received prompt and helpful service. I check the website whenever I need something.
Unequaled Customer Service. Purchase a light fixture which arrived promptly, but much to my dismay arrived with the wrong installation instructions thereby causing one of the parts to break. I called ATG stores without much hope and the part was replaced at no cost to me. I was flabergasted. Thank you very much. Totally un expected.
The site says the desk I wanted will ship in 1 to 3 days. After ordering, my tracking page says the item won't ship for 2 months! The public page still says 1 to 3 days.
I called for cancellation, and they claimed it would take 5 days to "process." I immediately called the credit card company to dispute the charge.
These people are scam artists. Avoid!
I ordered over a 100.00 Queen 2 inch mattress topper which was latex and specialized because I did a lot of research on what I needed for my back. I waited 2 weeks for it to arrive. When it arrived it was a 4 inch topper that was blue and memory foam and twin size. Not what I ordered at all and I looked at my receipt and my original order had been changed from latex to memory foam after google shopping so originally I would not have gotten what I ordered at the time I ordered. Buyer beware! Scam I will never use google shopping again only amazon!
This company does not deserve even one star. I purchased some rugs and a table set from them in November. Tables were delivered damaged. I called them on numerous occasions and every time they told me different things. At first they told me that they will pick up the tables. When I called them a week later they told me to donate the tables to Salvation Army and email them pictures and SA receipt. It's been 2 months and I still did not receive a refund from ATG. I emailed them about my return, called them and I still do not have an answer. I saved all emails between me and ATG representatives and disputed my credit card charge through my credit card company. I think that ATG is a terrible and dishonest company. I am very disappointed. ATG SUCKS!
Whenever I need anything I look at the ATGStores.com site first. It is a great site, with great products and great prices (often better than in stores). It is easy to find what you want, order it, receive status and have your item arrive at your door as ordered in perfect condition. A real pleasurable experience.
I have to agree with any negative comments. I found what I thought was a deal on cabinet hardware on website where they were a "marketplace seller" (I believe they've been thrown off that website). Everything was CLEARLY listed in lots of 10. I ordered maybe 10 lots of 10. I received one of each item only, basically 10 percent of my order. I sent messages several times. I finally got a response over 2 weeks later. Oops, sorry that was wrong. They'll send a label to return. I pointed out that they should fulfill my orders since it was not my mistake but I've yet to hear back from that message. UPDATE: After two MORE weeks, finally got a response to the last email saying sorry, they wouldn't fulfill the order but they would send a return label, which took two more days. But ONE MONTH and 4 days later, I still don't have my money back.
I also bought a mortised doorknob a couple of years ago directly from their website. It started coming apart in a matter of weeks.
I've tried 2 times to order outdoor lights. The first time I was charged which was fine but then after a month I received a notification email that the item was backordered and they cancelled my order and took another 10 days to get a credit back. Then the last times I reordered as they were "coming in stock" soon and was charged again. 60 days later I'm told that the items were still on backorder for another month and if I cancelled (again already paid), I would not be able to receive a discount. So essentially I'm floating them money for 120+ days? WTH?
Avoid the bait and switch and "expected" in stock dates and go elsewhere.

Ordered a ceiling fan Saturday. I get an email on Monday that the product will ship the following Monday. I called and cancelled the order as soon as I received this email. I get a new email the following day stating that the product has shipped.
Now I have to return it at my expense. Never again!
I was very pleased with my experience. My package came quickly and was in great shape. Of course my item was of top quality and I will certainly use the site again as I look for a patio table and more.
Website promised lighting fixture would not require moving juncture box. When this proved to be false, this company resisted sending me a product return authorization, promising on 4 different occassions that it would be sent momentarily (within 15 minutes) and not sending it.
When I finally got a return authorization from them they did not send to label, but a densely worded 1 page document outlining what I needed to do. Despite the fact that the product was shipped to me from Buffalo NY, I was asked to pay to ship it back to Canada.
This has been a very unsatisfactory experience and I encourage other consumers not to deal with ATG Stores. They claim they are merely an agent for the products on their site and have no control over the policies of the manufacturers they represent.
I only wish I had been aware of the hundreds of complaints about ATG stores that are on various websites before I made this purchase.

Beware! Don't lose your money! We ordered a light fixture, it was paid for but never received. ATG said that FedEx had delivered the light and left it on our porch(was not there). After two months of going back and forth with ATG, getting a different customer service rep. Who said they would do something and of couse never did; they said it was actually tough luck that we paid for a light we never received. They said we should file a police report for an stolen item for which there is no proof! It is unbelieveable that they take no responsibility, they are very flippant in their response!

Guess I am in a good company - ordered item from ATGstores.com, received item in damaged box, returned item and now keep trying to get my money back. I am only 1 month in the process, so I am still optimistic. In any case - do not buy from this guys. They are 'drop ship' vendors. So, they have no clue what was shipped, but what is bad - they don't care. To get your money back is even worse. They always use the 'vendor' as an excuse, saying that vendor did not reimbursed them yet. In my case everybody is pretty polite, but still - no money back. Do yourself a favor - do not not from them.
The ATG staff were very helpful on the phone with the ordering process and any questions we had. The desk and matching file cabinet were shipped and arrived on time and were very good quality.
I would recommend ATG to everyone and will order again from them.
I purchased two items online during the labor day sale with a credit card and called in to confirm my orders. I was told i have to pay with a PayPal account instead because they won't accept my credit card. They already Put a hold for the funds on my credit card which was close to 500.00 and said it will be back on the card 3 to 5 days. They told me i have to repay with a paypal account that i dont want to create and it's no guarantee I'll be acknowled the 100.00 off from the one day sale.

I contacted their customer support after waiting for 3 weeks. I was told that 3 pairs of Aerosoles shoes that I ordered were discontinued, and money will be returned to me - just what everyone else here seems to be told. The same old story - money charged right away for goods that are not in stock and not even expected to be in stock.

It was for a new construction and could not have turned out any better.
Ordered a nightstand and a media chest, received the delivery on time however there were issues with missing parts and minor damage which I thought would be a breeze to resolve.
Online chat had such a slow response that I wasn't even sure there was an agent on the other end of the line. Anyway, told to send in pictures via email and did so on May 10 and never receive any response. On May 16, a follow-up email was sent and no response. On May 18, called and finally spoke to an agent after more than 20 minutes hold and was told to send it directly to her so that she knew for sure it would be forwarded and as of May 28, no response either.
I ordered 3 24" bar stools, simple enough. When I received the stools they were in 3 separate boxes. I took them into my garage and assembled them. When I took them in and placed them at the bar I found that they were 30" high instead of 24" high. I contacted the company and explained my problem and they did offer to return them and ship me out new ones. Now that would have me preparing them for return. Making myself available for a return delivery truck. Waiting on the new stools to be shipped. Assembling the new stools and disposing of all the trash. To save me all of this work I was offered a credit of $5 per stool. I still had to cut off the legs of three stools or take them to a cabinet shop to have them cut. What a lousy way to do business.
