I had the pleasure to deal with Travis, one of the Brick associates. He was very helpful and patient while I did my best to try and make up my mind with my purchases. He even worked with me from home (after hours) with my dilemma and went the extra mile to be sure that I was happy with my decisions. I want to thank him for all his help. His time and efforts were greatly appreciated.
I would like to save thank you to sales consultant RJ Kumar at the Bellville location. We asked him about a new sectional and he showed us 3 different options. We choice the one we like. He gave us a delivery date, it was delivered on time. The delivery team also did an outstanding job, everything was taken down stairs with no issues. I would recommend this location in Bellville very easy to deal with and fast delivery.

I purchased a sofa and arm chair. The sales associate didn't tell me I needed to pay the amount in full to guarantee a delivery date. The Operations Mgr apologized and waived my delivery fee. My delivery was delayed but I also asked for an extension two times because I wasn't very successful selling my current furniture. I'm very happy with their customer service!
Purchased a high-end Beautyrest mattress in January 2021, Beautyrest Black Diamond, very good mattress, super comfortable. However, within a week of delivery noticed the stitching on the Eurotop quilting undoing. Contacted The Brick for warranty multiple times with no replies, contacted Beautyrest Canada and they promised the world but as of August 2021 nothing has been done. For the money spent, I'd expect somewhat better quality & after sale service! Buyer strongly beware! Tried to post this as a final resort after months of attempted warranty claims on The Brick's website but it won't post my poor review…
I purchased a freezer and a living room carpet during the September tent sale event at The Brick (Ottawa East location). Jennifer, an experienced sales person, provided me with a professional and an excellent service during this busy time of the year. She was very patient, knowledgeable and attentive to details with the sale and the delivery process of both products. It made my experience a very easy and pleasant one. I ordered a couch (and paid) months ago. They have postponed the delivery for over 6 weeks from the original date with no communication. I kept having to call and now I still don't have a couch and have 3 weeks to wait. I am not holding my breath it will even come and with no couch to sit on and family coming to stay and in need of the pull out bed I am furious. I would never trust them again.
I made a purchase in September for a wide variety of furniture (over *******$.) Our furniture arrived incomplete and in different shipments. When I say different shipments, I mean it took months after to receive the incomplete pieces (example, the chairs for our table.) It is now mid January and we are STILL waiting for our Christmas gifts that we bought months ago for family. We bought two classic flames, a tv stand, and 2 heater Bluetooths as presents. We are still waiting for the second piece of each of the heaters. We received our mattresses fast, we received our headboards a month after, and we just recently received the frame rails. I did not know that our experience would be a long delayed delivery that was incomplete where I would have several separate boxes that we had to assemble ourselves. Attached is a picture of our receipt that shows that we made our purchase in September along with all the incomplete and separate boxes.
I bought some items from Brick. After payment, my delivery was booked for July 2. The delivery men David and Ray were right on time and very courteous. They were very professional and careful not to damage the property. I was surprised to see no damage considering the sizes of the delivered appliances. They also cleared the whole carton mess and were considerate to remove their shoe and put on shoe cover. This is to say a gigantic thank you to David and Ray. You men were fantastic!
6weeks into the $3500 purchase the second couch and Luvseat need to be replaced. Creaking in the couch and fabric is separating at the seams in 3 locations and falling apart. The brick won't let me return them. Don't shop here unless you are excited about throwing your money away
Customer service is not a priority at the store! My mom purchased a mattress that was a floor model and told to buy the mattress cover in order to exchange, but upon delivery she discovered it was not suitable for her bed frame. I return to the store to make an exchange and the sales woman firmly said no exchange on floor models. It's not stated on the receipt and the mattress is in the original cover.
This is a store that has rude and pushy staff and dose not care about customer satisfaction.
We have had nothing but problems with this brick, delivery delays, getting double charged and now we need to get a warranty mattress because the one we bought 6 months ago is ruined. It took them 2 months to approve it after the email said 5 business days. Then after we had already bought a new bed they approved the warranty. So today we go to pick out the new mattress they don't carry the mattress anymore and made us pick out a new one that would cost more and on top of it we have to pay for delivery for the new mattress on top of paying for them to pick up the old warranty mattress! I refuse to give them another dime due to the horrible service we have received! What a total bill waste of money! I could've done a lot more then buy a piece of crap bed for $1100!
If you are a senior or handicapped in any way, do not buy from the brick. They just drop the boxes off in the room of your choice and then it is up to you to tackle the boxes and install all the parts. I was unable to out all of my couch together.
Worst piece of furniture ever purchased. Purchased 2 years ago and the seat is already collapsing in and sinking into the frame. I had purchased 5 year warranty. When I called in for coverage I was told this was normal wear and tear. Other recliners I own are more than 10 years old and have never run into this problem. I was told since the springs were not broken the structure is considered sound and warranty does not cover this. Extremely poor furniture and self serving warranty. Will never shop at The Brick again.
I recently did a renovation to my home and spent over 10 K in appliances from the Brick. Dishwasher, Fridge, Freezer, Stove, Washer and Dryer. We ensured to buy the additional warranty. After 6 months my Dryer stopped working. We contacted the Brick and were informed the extended warranty was held by King and State. We called them and the sent a technician and were told the Piece we needed was on back order and it would be two to three weeks. For six months we kept calling them and they said it was on back order. I washed and hung dry clothes for six months ( family of 4). They finally came and repaired my dryer, which then broke again three weeks later. The Brick keep trying to sell us a new dryer at a discount. And King and State is saying they will give us a pro-rated amount on our Warranty. No one is taking accountability. I would never. Ever shop at the Brick again. And will warn everyone i know to stay away from them as well.
I purchased a sofa last February and came end of april. After we picked up the couches we assembled it at home. One of the couch was fine but the other cough legs was wrong. I called them and let them know. They said they will order the right sofa legs and it will come 4-6weeks. 6 weeks past I called and ask them if they already received the sofa legs that they ordered. The lady on the phone told me it will come end of august. I didn't expect that long. I ordered most of our furniture from this store. But after this happened I will never ever ordered from them anymore. Such a waste of time…I wish I could put 0 on the review. Im very disappointed!
I made an order for a Queen Box spring and I went to pick-up on last Saturday September 11,2021. But the furniture was not available! The employee Samantha from The Gatineau Brick helped me to find another substitute item which even was cheaper. So I was very happy with her support as it saved me money on the item itself and the cost of delivery.

Gavin that works in the Edson store went above and beyond when I needed a stove asap. I have tried to get one in Hinton but it would be a wait and they would not give me a floor model.
Called Edson store and within an hour we were on the road to go pick it up with no hassles!

I bought a mattress for $900! ( just a mattress) and it broken within a month of having it. I called and they said they can't do anything and to go online. I went online and no one would help me. I wish I never bought from them. Did not help me at all and now I'm stuck with a broken 900$ mattress that I can't use.
So bought a couch at the Brick tent sale.
I was was away when they delivered it so it got put in the garage. When the kids went to bring it in the house, it was noticed that the leg was broken underneath.
Put in a claim, fellow came to assess and told me 5-10 business days either fixed or swapped out for another one.
After 6 weeks waiting...now told its not going to be fixed or swapped out (after I inquired) and Id have a 40% of cost credit at the brick AND that it was sold "AS IS"
I sent back " yes its "as is" tent sale but ususlly when somethings scratched or broken it lists that on the tag?!
No more Brick for me sadly as I have liked their store for over 20 years now.
Answer: Brick has worst customer service. Their service department in New Market office are extremely pathetic.
Answer: They are a massive scam company. No customer service, no loyalty to their customers. Once you have paid, good luck receiving your merchandise on time, or getting replacements for the damaged goods. They lie through their teeth about timelines and promise things that never happen. They do not communicate amongst themselves, so one person will tell you one thing and the next has no idea and says it can't be done. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. Stay away!
