Total Rip Off

Ordered frwers on a Thursday morning for a Friday delivery for my wife at work. 10am on Friday the calls began with excuses why they could not deliver the flowers. I told them to deliver them or I would cancell. 9pm that night a driver called to say he was at our home door. Really? 9pm at home? Never again. I feel it was a waste of time and money.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I ordered valentines day flowers on 2/3/21 to be delivered on 2/12/21. No delivery happened, they said they would deliver the next day and make it a priority. I understood cause its busy time for them and i get it stuff happens. By 230 the next day, still no delivery. I called and was told they delivered the flowers the day before (on the original date). They did NOT deliver. I wish i would have read the reviews. Tehy are giving me a refund, lets see if they do so. RUINED VALENTINES DAY!

I ordered an elegant arrangement and what I got was a grocery arrangement, well actually I've gotten better arrangements at my local supermarket, I received a picture of the flowers from my nephew and was appalled at what I paid $175.00 dollars for. What I saw in the picture wasn't even close to what the man promised, he assured me for another $70.00 he would put another dozen roses in arrangement. I will call the better business bureau and place a complaint against them. Please beware! I wish I could add the picture but I'm not sure how to do that.

The Leftover Bouquets

My fiance ordered two bouquets to send to his two teen daughters for Valentine's Days so they will always have a Valentine. He ordered the Blushing Love and the European Romance Bouquet because one likes pink and the other purple. What they received looked like a hodge-podge of leftover flowers. My fiance is so disappointed. I was appalled when he showed me the pictures of what he ordered and what the girls received. He called and sent pictures to this company but we have not received any return response. Looking at the picture of the two arrangements, we can't tell there is any color scheme whatsoever. They didn't even get the messages on the two cards correct by placing both names on both cards. I wish we had seen these reviews prior to spending this kind of money for vases and bouquets we could have bought at the dollar store.

Cost $100. Wrong vase, missed 2 different types flowers, roses weren't even bloomed. All the flowers were spread out rather than packed nicely together like it showed on the picture. I ordered the deluxe which says it will come, "as shown". I asked for a red balloon and expected it to come that way because the phone operator told me how to customize the order so that it would. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Worst Florist

Totally Upset
February 10, 2021

I had placed an order for flowers for a funeral on Sunday,
My family & I drove 5 hours to attend funeral on Tuesday.
We were quite upset to realize there were no flowers there to show our Love & respect.
I emailed Terry's Flowers & told them I did not see our bouquet there.
They emailed me back and said I was sent a 'could not fill your order email'
I did not get this email before hand, as traveling to the funeral.
We are totally upset & very disappointed in Terry's Flowers. Do not use this florist EVER.

Amazing customer service
February 12, 2021

Absolutely amazing customer service. I had to change the deliver place 45min before flower were being delivered and they saved my butt! My wife still loves me thankful for Terry's florist for saving my bacon! Flowers are perfect as well! I will recommend you!

Ordered a delux elegant lavander bouquet from them and they delivered something completely different with only 3 roses. Thats not delux size and hardly any flowers. Emailed a complaint and they said its their substitution policy. $#*! them!

Don't order from this business. The flowers that I ordered were not what was expected and the arrangement was not worth the money I spent. The flowers were not correct. I wrote to their customer service email and this was their response:

Hi Lecia,

Thank you for reaching out regarding your concern with the arrangement you received. We have reviewed this picture and we've determined that this order is filled to value based on our substitution policy. In our substitution policy it states that all items such as flowers, containers, color schemes, or plants are subject to availability. This ensures that your order is delivered in a timely fashion. I have attached the policy for your reference, and it is also available on our website as well. Thank you.

NO STARS THEY SUCK

Ordered a bouquet of flowers at 9:45 on Friday morning and asked that they be delivered by 1 pm same day. (I really needed it there by 2 pm, but I was hedging my bets!) NOTE: Delivery Desination was 20 minute ride from Florist location. Paid 79.18 for a bouquet of pink roses and other flowers, even upgraded to deluxe. Well, the recipient (who was retiring, never to return to that location) had to leave at 3 and they STILL WEREN'T DELIVERED. They showed up this morning, Monday 2/8/2021 at around 9:30 am. And they weren't even what I ordered! 6 Pink roses and some babys breath! What a FRAUD! And now I have to wait to hear from a Supervisor/manager? I'll be disputing the charge. I have the evidence. I want my money back and they don't deserve to be in business

Hidden charge

I ordered flowers for next day delivery. Promised email receipt never received. Checked my credit card and found $27.63 added to charge that I agreed to. I called to find out why and was told it was "service fee"! Not found on the web site any where. Next step is BBB to complain!

I called the shop on 2/4/21 and asked about having a birthday bouquet delivered and placed an order for an arrangement that was confirmed to consist of roses, sunflower, lilies and other colorful flowers befitting a birthday. I was reviewing the website for examples and was satisfied when I further confirmed that these blooms were available. I order flowers all the time and across the country so I know to confirm just because I know inferior substitutions may be made.

After all of my informaton was taken, my credit card was immediately charges while I was on the phone. Then, the order was read back to me for confirmation. Sured that I would receive an email receipt. I have never received a receipt. I called the shop twice, was kept on hold for over 5 minutes to be told first that they could not locate my order. Then, when I asked for a credit I was told that my order was on the truck for delivery. I waited for delivery confirmation from the recipient. What she received were filler flowers in a dollar store vase. 3 red carnations, the rest yellow daisies, babies breath and fern. Trader Joe's has better arrangements. I paid $50 for that!

I tried to contact the store and got the run around. I emailed *******@terrysflorist.com and once again was rold that they could not locate my order. Then, this morning 2/6 I get an email asking to refer to their substitution policy clearly posted on their website which states that substitutions may be made in the event that certain flowers are not available. This is the same policy I reviewed prior to placing the order and EXACTLY why I confirmed availability of the flowers I was ordering. I do this on a regualar basis for clients and relatives across the country.

Judging by these reviews, this establishment does not care. They pocket $57.87 (in my case) and can serve up a $10 bouquet from the grocery store. BOYCOTT TERRY'S FLORIST, AKRON OHIO

Photos are attached is what I ordered vs. what was delivered. It's not so much the colors I object to (although I do) but there's not 1 rose or any other bloom that would warrant an equal value to the arrangement for which I paid.

NEVER USE THIS FLORIST

I neglected to look at the reviews of this florist before purchasing an arrangement with them. As like a lot of other customers of their has experienced, the arrangement we received was NOTHING like the arrangement we purchased. When I called the company said it was due to their substitution policy and refunded us $15.00 of the $80.00 we spent. This whole process was a complete joke. I ordered the Daisy Deluxe and the arrangement did not have one daisy on it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED.

AWFUL - Buyer Beware!

Not only were my flowers NEVER delivered, the customer service was not helpful either. The fourth, yes fourth, rep I spoke to was rude and condescending. DO NOT USE this company! It's a shame I actually had to give it 1-star to submit the review, they deserve no-stars!

I ordered the Peachy Keen arrangement for my daughter. I did order the standard version (one step below what was pictured on their website), so I knew it would most likely not be as full/lush as the photo. However, the photo my daughter sent once she received it showed an arrangement that looked nothing like the website photo. As another reviewer mentioned, the arrangement she received could have been purchased at a grocery store for far less than what I paid. Their customer service department did respond the same day to my complaint, but only to tell me essentially their policy states they are allowed to make substitutions. I so wish I had checked the web first for reviews of this company, before I placed my order. I will never use this company again, and hope that others are more diligent than I was in checking ratings first before ordering. In addition, you are not able to find out which local floral shop was used. The company is headquartered in New Jersey. Their website makes it sound like they are a local company, and they are not.

Complete scam

Ordered flowers on Friday for a 80th birthday on Saturday. They were never delivered. When I contacted them on Sunday they gave me the run around. When I contacted them on Monday they gave me a complete different story than what they told me on Sunday. They kept putting me on hold for over an hour. Today is Thursday and they still have not resolved the problem. They are not a flower shop they are a service that takes tour money and order and sends it elsewhere for less money. They ruined a special occasion and did not fix the problem.

THE WORST!

DO NOT ORDER FROM TERRY'S FLORIST! They NEVER deliver what or when they said they would. Complete Scam!
I ordered flowers before Christmas for a Client. They never delivered them, and never told me they weren't delivered. When I found out my client never received the flowers, I called customer service, only to be told they had credited my credit card account. Just received Credit card statement and they charged for the flowers they never delivered. Speaking with customer service delivers more lies and evasion, with absolutely no accountability. They are a complete SCAM! Do not use this service!

Where to begin...
Hi prices, low quality, late delivery, customer service people who tell you what you want to hear just to get you off the phone. The flowers looked like someting you could get for $18 at the grocery store. I really wish I had checked the ratings before ordering. Sorry Mom. I love you.

Why did I not look at the reviews first?

I paid for. A blue brilliance bouquet, Mylar balloons and chocolates for my mom's 86th birthday. She is in Texas and I am in North Carolina. When I called to tell her happy birthday she thanked me for the bouquet of sunflowers! No balloons. No card. The only thing that was right was the tiny box of chocolates.

When I contacted customer service they said to send them a picture of the bouquet and they would look into it. Did I mention my mom is 86? She doesn't use a camera phone. They apologized for how I ‘feel' and that was it. $101 for a bouquet of sunflowers? I reported them to my bank for fraud and not providing the service purchased, but first I gave them the opportunity to make it right. I wish I could give negative stars.
