It was... fine

I ordered from Terry's Florist in a bit of a rush, thinking it was a local flower shop. This appears to be incorrect, as there are "local" sites for Terry's Florist in a bunch of cities. When I came here and read the reviews, I got a bit worried about what I might get.

Pros: The bouquet was delivered on time (between 12 and 1 on the day before Valentines), and it was in great shape. It looked exactly like the photo on the website. In fact, today is 10 days later, the bouquet still looks quite good. Really, nothing to complain about, here. Terrys delivered the bouquet that was promised, at the time that was promised.

Cons: The delivery price was high ($15 for a $55 bouquet), and there's no decent online tracking or account. You'd have to call for any customer service, which I did not.

Verdict: Could you have gotten the same or better bouquet at Stop and Shop for less? I'm sure you could. But in the end, Terry's delivered what they promised, and the price was up-front. I got what I ordered. If I could have gone elsewhere for a better deal, that's on me. I don't think I'll shop there again, but I don't think it deserves a one-star review. It is what it says it is.

Bait and Switch! BEWARE

I ordered a beautiful sympathy plant for a dear friend. What they delivered was COMPLETELY different and looks like a child made it. Not one element of the arrangement I thought I was ordering was in the tacky arrangement that was delivered. What they sent is definitely not worth the money they took from me.

I wasn't informed that my flowers were delivered. I am very dissatisfied with this company. Won't order from this website again. Never received confirmation. Also, found out this company is a scam and my flowers weren't delivered for my aunts funeral.

Ordered Lavender Brilliance bouquet, even upgraded from $49.99 to the $59.99 size. My daughter received a few half dead carnations with some filler flowers, all wilted. They said delivery was $24. The local florist sent me a copy of order from Terry's, they said I wanted $49.99 bouquet and delivery was $12. Order said mixed white and purple stems. Could have spent $20 at Publix and gotten a nicer arrangement. Yet my card was charged $84+!

I ordered flowers, spelled my name on how the card should be signed. When I got confirmation email they had my name spelled wrong. Within 2 minutes I called back again to have it corrected, the man told me I would get another email showing correction and it would go out correctly. Needless to say, they never fixed the name and no follow up email confirming. POOR BUSINESS. DO NOT EVER USE THIS FLORIST! I should have done my homework before calling them.

I ordered valentine flowers for my great grandmother. The arrangement selected was lovely, compact and included a variety of flowers in shades of red with ample variegated greenery. What Terry's flowers provided 6 roses with 1 sprig of baby's breath in an unsightly vase with a hideous bow. When I called to complain, they requested images - to which I obliged. They replied it what was provided was well within their substitution policy. I paid $50 for flowers that I could have bought at Aldi for $3 and they now refuse to respond my inquiries for a partial refund. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS FLOURIST.

All of these one stars are absolutely correct. The pictures they show the public is not what you will receive. I ordered a deluxe full floral arrangement with color and a pretty swirl vase for my sisters Birthday and its not at all what she received. I sent her the picture of what she was suppose to get and she could see the difference. I called over three times due to driver being late and he said he was given incorrect address, he didn't wear a mask. I sent email after email and all Terrys Florist would say is company policy that they can substitute. What they did was substitute white flowers and an ugly vase. The arrangement was half a bouquet not the full as shown in the picture of what I thought I was getting. Look at the colorful arrangement picture of what I ordered than look at the almost white half bouquet of flowers that were sent. When you call you get a call center located out of your state. I will NEVER buy from this scam of a florist again. Be warned you are wasting your money and they won't arrive on time.

Advertised that an item was available but sent something different. Then found out this is how they operate ripping ppl off. Didn't deliver when they said they would. Have no idea who supplies their orders in Tipton IN but they are at fault also.

Save yourself the money and frustration. You will get better flowers and customer service at a local grocery store. This business is a fraud and their delivered product is of terrible quality and design. Shop elsewhere.

I am not sure why this company is getting so many negative reviews. I order my wife a bouquet and it was delivered the exact same day as promised and the flowers were absolutely gorgeous I would give them 5 stars and I will be using them again.

On Tuesday morning this week I ordered a $185 bouquet from Terry's Florists to be delivered for a good friend's celebratory birthday. The woman who took my order was careful and confirmed the order. My credit card was charged. After the order was placed she called me back almost immediately telling me it would cost $40 than she quoted me. OK, it was Valentine's week, I get that. But here's the problem... the flowers weren't delivered to my friend at all. Since I hadn't heard from my friend, I called her and she confirmed she hadn't received flowers from me. I called Terry's Florist this morning. They put me on lengthy holds multiple times; they directed me to the manager and it went to voice mail; they assured me a manager would call me back. He didn't. After my fourth call, I was told they would have to check with the driver. They learned that the driver confronted icy conditions and didn't deliver the flowers on the birthday. No one informed me or my friend. No apology was offered, no offer to deliver today, no effort to fix the situation. They begrudgingly said they would refund my $185 but I have yet to see confirmation. I highly recommend you look for any other florist before making a telephone order with Terry's Florists. -- Sally Bagshaw, Seattle WA

First Time Customer

As a first time customer, I was unsure of what to expect. Terry's Florist came through for me. Excellent communication, service and of course flowers and chocolates! My wife loved them! I am a 100% satisfied customer and I will definitely order from them again in the future.

Worse Company Ever.

Ordered a spray for a employee who's daughter took her own life. Memorial service was on the 15th of Feb. At 2 pm at a local church. They did not deliver the flowers nor did they let me know that they could not get them delivered. I called at the end of the on line service which was at 3 pm and ask where they were and for a refund. Their response was they were out for delivery. They would have to wait on the the Driver for confirmation of delivery, and they would call me back. At 5:30 I called back and still got the same answer waiting on the driver to contact them, and to give them till tomorrow to get back to me. At around 2:30 pm I tried again and they were waiting on a response from the driver. I ask about a refund and was told they could do nothing till they heard what the status was on the delivery and a call back was listed as priority and would call me back. Never heard from them yesterday. I told them I was giving them negative feed back as of 5:30 pm yesterday and disputing the charge. I waited till this morning the 17th of Feb. To give this review. I chose this company because it said it was local. In the future I will use someone like FTD.com or 1800flowers.com or proflowers.com. As of 10:39 am still not heard back from them for a order placed on 2/12/2021 and be delivered on 2/15/2021 before 2 pm.

Seems to be a Scam. Can not contact them. Took money for Flower delivery and did not deliver. No resolution. Email of complant I sent them below: To Whom it may concern I order Valentine flowers for my Daughter as I have done since she was born 43yrs ago. I was sure to order in advance since Valentine's day is the busiest day of the year for flowers. So Tuesday the 11th I placed the order (below). Yesterday they were to be delivered. Late in the day I called for delivery states, only to be told you will not be able to make the delivery. The conversation I had with the call center was so frustration. All her responses, over and over again, were "I understand your frustration" I heard nothing about solving the problem or could not contact your shop. Additionally, I was look to do business with a local florist in Mullica Hill NJ. When I searched on the internet, you shop was listed as such. Your shop is in Red Bank 60 miles away. Deceiving. I am a business owner, and must say that this is no way to run a business! I would never stand for letting something like this to happen to a customer.

Lets start with very poor customer service, I ordered a deluxe version of what they showed online and wound up what looked like the clearance aisle version. They didn't contact me about the substitution or that the flowers were delivered or anything. If they can't give something close to what is promised they shouldn't be in business! I bought local from a independent trying to help and all I got was kicked in the groin! Then I get the song and dance of its on our website about the substitutions, that's all fine and dandy but the customer should have the option of proceeding or canceling if you can't fulfill what is there. As you can see from the pictures that is a sad replacement arrangement compared to what I ordered not to mention that I upgraded to premium! I would be embarrassed if that was the best I could do. Quit taking peoples money and not giving them what they ordered! Pathetic!

In my Opinion this is the WORST! Experience WITH A FLORIST! I have ever HAD! I ordered a Beautiful arrangement for my 82 year old Mother for Valentines called Lavender & White Brilliance (Deluxe (As Shown)) only to have something delivered that was not what I ordered, I called them up fix the problem and they said I needed to send an email with a picture, I understand the arrangement my not be exactly the same, but the arrangement they delivered on my behalf was so so awful! They even gave the wrong Vase * I gave them Special instructions: please change the vase to an elegant lavender bouquet vase PURPLE COLOR. I could have gone to the market and payed $30.00 and saved $50.00 plus, I would never recommend this florist, Avoid at all cost If I could give them a negative stars I would have!

I specifically ordered flowers for my mother-in-law through Terry's as they said they were local and were one of the few places that could deliver by Valentine's Day. They never arrived. I received the purchase confirmation without a problem but they said they were out of stock and issued a refund the same day. I didn't receive a phone call or email indicating this. Customer service claims they texted me (to a landline) and left a voice mail, which I did not receive. Do not rely on this business for special occassions.

I ordered the PREMIUM Elegant Lavendar Bouquet which should have looked better than the DELUXE version in the second photo below. What they delivered is shown in the first photo. It was neither PREMIUM nor Elegant nor Lavendar. Wrong flowers, wrong vase. I sent an email demanding a replacement which they never answered. I called them and was told that only Managers could take complaints, but that Managers did not take phone calls. I called back and ask to speak to Terry directly. I was put on hold for 10 minutes, then a Manager picked up, asked me my name and order number, then hung up on me. I am going to call the cops, or an attorney, or probably both. Terry's Florist has not heard the last from me!

UPDATE: I found these guys by searching Google for Florists near Fort Washington MD. I just learned they are actually located at 75 West Front St in Red Bank NJ. They don't have a physical presence anywhere near Fort Washington MD, they're just an Internet front operation handing off orders to other florists - and doing a poor job of it.
