I ordered a Delightfully Fresh Bouquet (Deluxe) for my Mom's birthday a day in advance. I was assured it will be delivered as described: pink roses, pink lilies, lime carnation, pink wax flower, etc. The disappointment started when I learned it was past 3pm but no flower has arrived. I called the 1-888 # and was told the arrangement was delivered at 2:30pm! After a few more calls, they said they will figure it out. My guess was the driver delivered the flowers to a wrong address and they only realized the error after I called them. Long story short, the flowers were delivered to my Mom at 5:50pm and the quality was nowhere near what I ordered! It was pathetic. What happened to the pink roses? Not worth the $ I paid for. I was expecting an apology, but instead I got a voicemail letting me know the flowers were delivered at 2:30pm, which is a big lie. They wouldn't even admit their error. By the way, I'm still waiting for an email receipt of my purchase even though my credit card was charged on day of purchase for $68.48. Buyers beware!

I trusted Terry's Florist to deliver the arrangement as shown on line but I was sadly disappointed. The arrangement had gaps looked sloppy. Not at all the quality I expected to represent my heart felt congratulations to my daughter for her new job. I hope this review is read and that the staff remembers how important what they do is. The arrangements you all make live forever in the hearts and pictures of many. Please take time for each one knowing that what you do means so much to many.

You may not even get your flowers at all. After fighting the charges through the bank, the bank acknowledged that purchasing from this company without reading their terms of service allows them to keep your money and win all disputes against them. If you read their terms of service, they do NOT have to get your flowers there when you expect them to. They do NOT have to refund you. Hell, they don't have to even send you flowers that you pay for. Google Terry's Florist, CBS2 Investigates. Total scam.

Very disappointed

Ordered the Perfectly Purple Bouquet (my daughter's favorite color) for our daughter's 30th birthday... The arrangement came with white and pink flowers and a few purple/pink smaller flowers and although the arrangement was decent it was not even close to what I ordered and paid for... When I tried contacting them I was told I had to correspond via e-mail only... very frustrating... I will not be using this company again nor would I recommend it not only because the flower arrangement was incorrect but also because their customer service is terrible.

I ordered flowers for my daughters special moment and made sure it was same day delivery. They didn't arrive until late the next day when she wasn't present. They blamed me even though THEIR confirmation email was time stamped before 2pm. Acted so poorly and rudely! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. SHAME ON THEM! Terrible experience! If I could give them negative stars I would.

They tell you they are a local flower shop to deceive you into thinking you are will get better delivery.

I was on the phone with a rep who said their were in NJ and at the same time another rep was lying telling me they were in the city I was sending flowers to.

And of course, they couldn't deliver same day.

Horrible business practice and immoral people.

Beware!

I ordered flowers they never showed up. This was for a funeral and I'll bet they count on people sending flowers but not attending so they never find out the flowers didn't arrive. I called several times and was told they are on their way and that the funeral home said to deliver after 5pm. I spoke with the funeral director and they assured me they tell everyone before 5pm not after. I said this is unacceptable nothing arrived I paid 150.00 for NOTHING. They tell me they have to get a hold of their driver. Put me on hold. Hang up. I call back and they act like they have never spoke to me before I explain everything again. No refund? No flowers? I ask where are you located? She can't pronounce the city so I say where are you at right now? Where are you sitting talking to me? In another country... they take your order and hope you don't look for it. This is a big scam and they are ripping off everyone. It is terrible! Terrible to rip off grieving people.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. I wasn't able to submit my order online on their website and called it in. After 15 minutes putting in my order, 5 hours later they call me to tell me that actually the flowers are going to cost more than they charged me and wanted to add additional charges to my credit card or I would have to forfeit my delivery. Gross business practice in my opinion.

I ordered the premium Simply Divine Bouquet. The photo showed 8 pink roses and pink lillies, I upgraded so there should have been a much bigger arranagement. What they delivered was 3 RED roses, 1, yes ONE pink carnation, 2 hot pink Gerber Daisies, and some green leaf filler. Absolute joke. Called, was hung up on 3 times. Eventually spoke to someone who asked me to email photos and I would get a refund. I emailed photos and their reply included their Terms and Conditions which says they are allowed to substitute any flower. Substitution is not the same as changing every single flower. I did not get a full refund. The flowers they delivered looked like a grocery store $10 mix and match selection. Completely horrible experience. I wish I could give zero stars, but I cant, so I attribute the 1 star to them actually delivering flowers on mothers day.

I ordered flowers from them for a family dealing with loss. They were never delivered. After several calls to Terry's Florist and being left on hold after giving my order number. I got nasty. They claimed the flowers were delivered. But they were not, I got conformation from the family that nothing was delivered. I had to threaten to call the police and call every 5 mins until I got a refund. After a bit of a run around, they agreed to refund me my money in 3 to 5 business days. I also contacted my bank. I will see in a few days if I actually get my Money back. Save yourself the problems and order from a local florist in the area where your sending them. DON'T BUY FROM TERRY'S FLORIST!

We ordered over $700 dollars worth of flowers for my mother's funeral at least 1 week prior to the services. We received a call 5 hours before the service to tell us that they couldn't provide the flowers because of mothers day and they used my mothers flowers. It is no wonder that their rating is a 1.12. If you want to get beautiful flowers and great customer service, call Rodeo Florists in Santa Fe.

I wish I would have listened to the other people that took the time to review this company with negative comments... What a joke. I spent 'I don't even know how long' on the phone with a sales person this morning --- then I ended up giving instructions and sample bouquet type via email because her English was hard to understand and I was trying to place this order for same day delivery and on behalf of my family... I wanted/needed it to be right for a special family member who was given some very bad news about end of life today. So, the salesperson called me back and confirmed the email info I sent - and that same day delivery to the nursing care center would not be a problem - she took my credit card information and then I got a call late in the afternoon from her saying they were out of flowers and had to cancel the order... oh, and the icing, she hoped that she would have my understanding. Ummmm... WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FILTHANDMUCK kind of business is this? So frustrating. Zero Stars (for the record). Huge waste of time.

The flowers I had sent to my mother looked nothing like the picture. The flowers looked dead upon arrival and I ordered an extra large size and the flowers that arrived looked like something I could get at safeway for less than 20. I still tipped but I cannot believe I spent almost 100 here.

I thought I was ordering from a good florist in River Forest. The plant came from a Chalet Gardens in Chicago. I placed the order before 2:00 in the afternoon to be delivered by 10:30 next morning. Dave told me it would be between 11-7. I asked for a text to let me know it was delivered. He agreed to my request but did not happen. I ordered a dish garden plant with fresh growing flowers & a purple bow for my friends b/d. When plant arrived; it was left on door step without any covering on it. There were no flowers, no bow. Very unimpressive, my friend I could tell was not impressed. She herself said I got scammed. Pretty embarrassing.
When I called, sent photo of plant delivered, sent emails; all I received was a run around. No owner or manager to speak to, read their substitution policy?
I wanted fresh flowers sent to my friend & then a refund. Again, all they care about is your $, not if u r satisfied!

Terry's florist is not a florist at all. It is a husband and wife working from their home in Colts Neck NJ. You call them or order online and they send the order off to a florist near the address that you requested delivery to. If you pick and arrangement on their FAKE site that has 4 lily's, 6 roses, and 5 daisy's in it they will call the florist near you and ask for an arrangement in a cheap vase that has maybe 1 lily, 3 roses and 2 daisy's. They will be billed maybe $20 and they will pay the $20 then bill you the $59.99 or whatever price the arrangement is listed for on their site. CBS news investigated them and that is where my information comes from. I fell for the scam so started researching for information.

I ordered flowers over the phone for Mother's days. I received a text on the following Tuesday that they were refunding my payment. So not only did they not deliver the flowers on Monday as they stated they waited a day to tell me and then when I said I was upset my Mom didn't get her flowers they chuckled over the phone. I would never suggest this florist to anyone. I am a Denison native and only used them until I left for college. I guess things have gone bad at Terry's.

I placed an order for 2 plants to be delivered and use in an executive office, to include a DELUXE double orchid for $100. The second was for a Succulent Garden for $75. Both featured photos showcased beautiful full, large plants. When they arrived it could not have been worse or more disappointing. Tiny, dingy plants that at the absolute most together would have cost $50, not the $202 they charged me for this order.
Terry's Florist had sent this order to a local florist, who told them at the time of their call she did NOT have what they were ordering or anything even close. Despite acknowledging this, Terry's Florist proceeded to give Nautia the order anyway and explained it would be fine and just send whatever they had on hand. Additionally, what they paid this local florist is a very small fraction of what they received from me which explains what happened. Terry's Florist is an absolute scam and not worthy of receiving your business. Save your money!

We ordered flowers on 4/26/21 for Mother's Day. We placed the order 12 days to have plenty of lead time. This florist decided to cancel our order after charging our card, because they ran out of the type of flowers we ordered. We received No email, No phone call, No contact at all. Just a canceled order. When we called they had nothing to say but "we canceled that order". There are many options for sending flowers so be smart and do not consider these people. Terrible way to do business!

I really wish I would have looked at these reviews first. Horrible customer service. I sent the same arrangement to my mom and my MIL they both looked completely different. My moms had a clear vase(was supposed to be red) and 4 roses... 4... do you hear me..., 4. I paid $60.00 plus handling came out to $79 for 4 roses and some other crappy flowers. My MIL at least got 6 roses and the red vase. I could have made this myself. When I complained they just sent me there policies. This is the worst place I've ever seen. I will use 1800 flowers before I will use this place again. I am baffled that they are ok with this.
