I ordered flowers for my mother-in-law to be delivered and I accidentally put the wrong house number. So I tried calling and no one answered. When I finally got a hold of someone they told me they were delivered. Now mind you, the house number I put doesn't even exist on the street she lives on. I have no idea where they were delivered. I ended getting refunded which was rather quickly done and I appreciate (either way I was going to dispute the charge on my card if they didn't). Customer service is meh. I wish I had read previous reviews before ordering. Will definitely use 1-800-flower from now on. Just wanted to try a different company.
Ordered flowers on Saturday morning for same-day delivery - received a text that my order was 30-minutes away. 2 hours later no delivery. I called customer service multiplied times and spoke with a guy in India that promised me that my flowers would be delivered Saturday. They never arrived.
These dumb asses then emailed and called my mother o Sunday to see how her delivery was!
Ordered flowers two days in advance for a local funeral service. They called the day of the funeral (after if was over) and told me they could not deliver due to supply chain issues but they would deliver to the home of the family. I agreed as they also promised to upgrade the bouquet. I got a call the next day saying they would not be able to deliver to the house due to supply chain issues. Seems like this company was very dishonest in both situations. I am very disappointed that we were unable to have our order fulfilled to support our friend who is in mourning.
Be careful when using this company. I placed an order for my moms birthday on January 3 to be delivered on January 4th. The delivery was never made. I had to call my mom and ask if she got anything (element of surprise ruined)...she did not. I called them to see what happened and was told I would receive a full refund. Today I find out that they are not refunding my money but will try to deliver today. NO today is not her birthday and again the surprise is ruined. Then they tried to say that they attempted delivery yesterday but no one was home...also not true. They (my parents) were home all day and sat on front porch for most of the day because it was nice outside. Interestingly enough when I talked to them last night they said there was no record from the driver of delivery or attempt and now they are saying something different. Buyer beware... Now they will not come to the phone...
The worst experience. I asked for a pet friendly plant, they recommended the dish garden. It turns out it had peace lilies which are toxic to cats. When I called back, they were not apologetic about a life threatening mistake which could killed my friend's cat.
They took my money then called an hour later and said that they were out of flowers! They laughed at me when I tried to place my order... this arrangement was for an infant's funeral. I am devastated. Don't give them your money! Just hateful :(
I ordered flowers to be delivered to my sister in law and they arrangement that was delivered was something from a corner store! It was so cheap looking and they told me that have a substitution clause. The clause said equal or greater value, the flowers i received were neither! Instead of a full refund they kept offered me $14, and then an additional $27. I called my card company to dispute it
Terrible service, not same day delivery as promised, no compensation for inconvenience, didnt honor the ten percent off! Spent a long time with customer service n emailed to get a dismissive response! Jerks! Waste of money! Use a different flower delivery service.
I ordered flowers for my daughter. $72. And the arrangement was half the size it should have been and no where near the flowers that were shown. The response from the customer service was to send me a copy of their substitution policy. Pathetic. Will never order from here again. I would give a 0 star but that is not an option
First they surprise you with a service fee. So I guess its not really free shipping. They said it's to cover expenses like rent and hazard pay for their employees. Hazard pay? Are they scared they will get punctured by a rose?
Then they sell you an arrangement from the pictures on line and substitute with something totally different. It is in their fine print that they can do that.
Ordered flowers for my elderly Mother's birthday. Were not delivered same day, on her birthday even though ordered at 12 noon. Called today and got a whopping $5 discount on a $75 order. I paid for a lovely bouquet of flowers (Meadow Blooms) to be delivered and they delivered something entirely different. Only 1 sunflower was as described. There were no roses, or any of the other flowers in the description, and half of it was fillers. Not at all pretty. They credited me with about 1/3 of the cost because they saw how lame it was, which meant I still paid $54 for an ugly bouquet.

This place is nothing but a joke! I ordered flowers on 9-15-2022 to be delivered on my anniversary on 10-4-2022! OVER!% DAYS IN ADVANCE! The flowers never showed. Ruined my anniversary surprise. These people are terrible and I should have seen the reviews first. Seems like everyone thinks they're awful! You guys should be shut down.
Funeral for a relative was Tuesday, January 3,2022 on Monday I ordered in the morning. I was told they could not get it to the church on time for Tuesday but they offered to deliver it on Monday afternoon instead. It was a basket, Blooms and Butterflies, no arranging to do, just put plants in basket, hot glue on a ribbon and a couple butterflies. I told the rep I had been in the industry and understood if purple was not available, another color would be fine. Just make it match. I get a call on Tuesday, 1 hour before the service that they could not fulfill the order due to lack of product. I was given about 2 seconds to respond, when they said I would be refunded in 3-5 days. Then they hung up. You decide if this is good service or not. I ordered online,
I ordered a plant arrangement and a floral arrangement for my wife on Valentine's Day, see before images from their website. She got nothing like the pictures online, not even close, see pictures of the poor arrangements. I called to complain and was asked to send in pictures and someone would get back to me. When, I have no clue. The day is today, I ordered everything a week ago. What an embarrassment. I wouldn't use them ever again.
Will take your order, guarantee certain things like the type of flowers and delivery date, then call the next day to say they have no flowers and they can't deliver. 2 day later they delivered a bouquet, not even close to the arrangement that was ordered.
Placed order for 2 bouquets. 1 of the bouquets was listed with a ribbon the site as "available today". Order was to be "as shown in photo". Bouquet was NOTHING like the photo and had different flowers, looked nothing like it was suppose to. Was advised states in policy they can use different flowers and containers if ones in photos aren't available. Sorry but when grieving passing of loved one, don't think you should need to read a policy! Will not order from here again.
They sent the wrong order - red carnations instead of sunflowers and roses - and refused to send the correct order after I had to show them pictures proving they were wrong. Their remedy, refund me $29 on a $79 order. Worse yet, I thought I was buying from a local florist. They confirmed they were, located in Mill Valley, CA. They lied. They are part of a conglomerate. As one reviewer said, too bad you don't have an option of zero stars. Every time I called and email asking to speak with a manager, they said they were too busy. Then I got an email saying their decision to only refund me $29 was final. I offered to return their refund for the correct order, but they refused. These guys should be driven out of business. Why don't they have a Yelp rating? I can't find them on Yelp.
I made the horrible mistake of ordering from this company before checking the reviews. What they delivered was not what I ordered and they refused to provide me a total refund... the flowers where wilted as well! See the attached photos. The arrangement sent with the blue ribbon looks nothing like the "Blue & White" photos I thought I was ordering - nothing like it! Attached is a proof of receipt showing proof of purchase.
I don't know who Terry is but she needs a new florist! My sister and I ordered some flowers for our grieving sister and not only did she received them the day after they were supposed to arrive but they were not what we ordered. They said they are allowed to make substitutions in order to ensure a timely delivery, which DID NOT happen! My sister ended up on the phone with the rudest customer service representatives this company has. She was left on hold for half hour increments and hung up on three times! Promises and lies. That is what you seem to get with this florist. We will NEVER use this place again or recommend them. If anything we will go out of our way to tell everybody not to use them.

Answer: Exactly, not only do they swap flowers but also the vase. A completely different product gets shipped than what they have on their website. They point to policy that they can swap whatever they feel is of equivalent value and are currently using Covid as an excuse.
