My tasker Olga P. Overcharged me in a slick way. She didn't put 2 hour minimum in her bio but found a slick way to put it in a note. She didn't even have to do 30 minutes. She told me that Taskrabbit would refund me. Then she stopped communicating. This is fraud.

Terrible company. Don't hire from them. I booked a mover through Taskrabbit, who supposedly has a 5.0 rating and 550 satisfied jobs (his name is Hisham). I took a day off from work, and he was supposed to show up at 10 o'clock. At 10:20, I texted him to see where he was. He called me back and told me that I had no right to text him and that he wasn't coming. Very rude individual! Task rabbit texted me back about 20 minutes later and told me he wasn't coming. They did not apologize and did not try to make amends. They only wanted to know if I was planning to book someone else. Everyone on Taskrabbit Seems to have a 5.0 rating. It's probably nonsense and made up. Don't hire from this company.

The assembler didn't read the instructions and we literally had to take the furniture apart and reassemble it. Even the couch frame was put on backwards. The majority of screws were hand tightened and loose. There were parts left over that should have been used in the assembly process.
Save yourself the money, grief and time of having to disassemble and reassemble their shoddy work!

Made an appointment to have work done. The guy was suppose to be here and emailed that he was sick. Rescheduled for the following Monday and was a no show. The chat room was of no help and calling the toll free number was also useless. All he told me was to rebook and will give me a $25 credit. I have now wasted parts of 2 days and to no avail. These people are unreliable and will not use again. You should be ashamed for your lousy service.

WTH. I was laid off, almost one year ago, and thought TaskRabbit would be perfect for me. I'm a handyman on over 30 years and desperate for employment. I have a wife and three children who depend on me. Having nearly zero dollars to invest in myself their $25 registration fee was a struggle, yet I believed in them. After spending hours completing online TaskRabbit training, which I scored 100%, I thought I was excited & ready to go/ work. Almost!... an identity check needed to be completed, which I failed. I believe they supplied me with VERY old or VERY obscure addresses which I could neither confirm or deny; my identity could not be verified. I have spent months trying to contact Taskrabbit customer service to no avail. I think they have internally taken my deposit with no intention to employ me. OR, they are clearly ill equipped handle volumes of applicants. APPLICANTS BEWARE.

Azer K knew ahead of time on this task. However, very last second after preparing everything on this day for the tasks he claims he NEEDS to reschedule it or else he'll cancel. Not everyone has the luxury to spend time so loosely. Azer K is just overall very unprofessional and entitled.

I was desperate to find an in apartment mover, to have new rugs installed. I was searching and time was short. I'm in bad health, but I engaged Jake and he bought a helper. I am most certainly 200% satisfied. Totally happy and over the moon. Jake understood my situation and instructions and absolutely was time sensitive, with the assigned tasks. I was beginning to believe I wouldn't find someone, who would help me. No hesitation to use task rabbit again.

Tried hiring a house cleaner 4 times, but the persons who accepted the jobs cancelled all 4 times right before the job starts. Completely frustrating. At over $30 an hour for the worker and an additional $12 an hour for task rabbit you would figure some reliableness. Don't waste your time here.

I hired a tasker with confirmed date & time. After tasker trying to change dates and times he cancelled the job within hours of starting time. Went back to TaskRabitt to get a new tasker to do the job and none were available in this short time. Extremely unreliable. Never again

I had booked a handyman through task rabbit to help me assemble some furniture. The delivery company delayed the delivery so I informed him ahead of time that our appointment would need to be delayed and that the time depended on the delivery. Next thing I know I received a message saying that he had to cancel our appointment, because he couldn't wait.
A week later I get an email from task rabbit saying that I was charged a one hour cancellation fee, because I cancelled within the 24 hour limit! Despite the fact that I didn't cancel the appointment but the tasker did.
I have been trying for two days to contact them over the phone, their lines are down because "they experience heavier than usual volume!", for two days! I emailed them and also contacted them through their website, nobody even replied. Nobody picks up the phone, or answered the emails. These are crooks, do not trust them, do not give them your personal details.
