They kept rescheduling my service. My lawn literally got up to my knees and I got ticketed by both my HOA and the city. Would not ever use this service again!-
This company is absolutely terrible. They miss their appointments every single time and always reschedule 3+ times. But I never really cared as long as eventually it got done. The icing on the cake for me was about 1 month ago they hit my screen door with their weed wacker and cut the entire bottom off of my screen door. I called and got it settled with them to pay to replace it and every thing was fine. BUT after that they stopped mowing 10 feet away from my door! Just because I don't want my door completely destroyed doesn't mean I don't still need the grass mowed around it. I just need them to not be careless and destroy my property. I called them back to have them fix it, they came back (after rescheduling once) did not mow that area, throw some pom fronds behind my AC unit and left. They had the nerve to take pictures before and after of the exact same yard. 10 foot avoidence in view. THEN THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR IT! I rejected the job and called them right away to let them know exactly what I wanted from them and they assured me they'd clarify with the vendor and fix it right away. They came back and mind you it's been a month now, they did the same thing! TOOK PICTURES OF NOTHING AND LEFT! I reject that job right away again and this time I get an email from the supervisor saying my rejection is invalid and denied. They want to charge me $50 for their vendor to do absolutely nothing! I call furious and they are now trying to lie to me and say that they won't mow that area because it's weeds and a flower bed (it's literally not it's grass) and that somehow that specific 10 ft is not in my package. Even though they have ALWAYS mowed my entire lawn all the way up to the time I said don't destroy my property. Now they want to act like children and be spiteful in direct retaliation to me speaking up against them. I obviously have cancelled with them and am furious and fighting to not pay $50 for them to take pictures of the unserviced yard.
Totally abandoned my account to mow my lawn once every two weeks, unreliable. Their contractors never show up when they promise.
My mom and I had moved to our new house 4 months ago. And in that time we had never cut the grass. It was depressing and embarrassing. We live in a rural area with almost 20,000 sq ft yard. We also are very poor. Mom had just been diagnosed with expensive cancer, and was in hospital for over a month trying to survive her 4 major surgeries. She did. We also have no car, which sucks.
So, after 4 months, we HAD mow this damn grass somehow. I went on thumbtask app first and got some quotes. Wholly conquistadors, the quotes were insane. 200$, 275$, 150$, and finally 100$. Even 100$ is a bit high, but ok. Messaged them, they said they don't do my area.
Felt defeated. Then saw Taskeasy. Plugged in my sq ft of my house and they came back at an automated quote of 61$. Wt*:)
Then, I looked up their reviews, and sitejabber comes up first. Wt*! Nothing but horrible reviews! Scary. I actually read the reviews.
Happy that they at least show up, according to bad reviews.
They can increase the price once they show up. Super scary.
I saw people complain about the premium service. I'm just recommending the basic package. I don't have premium money.
I did get charged 10$ more, a very fair price. For a 4 month neglected lawn. If you're worried about that, make sure you're at home and ask if its extra.
Also, they don't get paid till they take those before and after photos, upload it and you approve. They show proof of their work. They get paid either upon your approval or 2 days later automatically.
My guy showed up, the right day, got on his riding mower and mowed. Then did some trimming all over. Got rid of some and hills.
Last point, I believe these are independent contractors like on thumbtack or uber. If that is the case, they should have where you can rate, and see your contractors rating :) for accountability. If it drops down to a certain rating, maybe they're bad eggs. You don't want your nice company tainted with a few bad apples. And much of the time, people only write bad reviews. I always try to write good reviews when I have good service.

Was quoted a price but when they got to my house they asked for more money after not showing up a week prior.
First of all, even when the work is done correctly, be aware that they will not show up for appointments and give no notification that they aren't coming. Once, they rescheduled an appointment they had already missed twice for a Sunday... then didn't show up and I got an email after the fact saying they didn't show up because they don't work on Sundays! Then why did you accept the job? I hired them to do yard clean up, which is supposed to include (according to the website) leaf clean up and light hedge trimming and pruning. When they FINALLY actually showed up for an appointment (fourth time is the charm, I guess), they did the front yard (blowing most of them into the street!), but not the back yard. They did absolutely NO hedge trimming at all. When I refused payment until they fixed it, they came back and completed the leaf clean up, but STILL did not do the hedges. Then i was told it was because they were too tall--BECAUSE IT TOOK THEM OVER TWO WEEKS TO ACTUALLY SHOW UP and they had grown tall. Not only that, but they caused some damage to my house and to my back gate and refused to make it right. Horrible customer service, but even worse contractors. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THEM. Pictures are of the damage and the bushes they refused to trim.
UPDATE: shortly after posting this review, I got a knock at the door. Edgar was here to mow my lawn & he was very nice. Offered to help me out with the weed situation. Also, discount was not for 50% only 15% but still appreciated
I just moved into my first home & was eager to use a service that seemed very convenient since I am a young single woman who does not own a lawn mower. I signed up for biweekly lawn service & was scheduled to have my first service 7/09. I decided to reschedule this service due to the weeks of rain we had in Houston. The next scheduled service was for 7/23. I was home around 6 pm & saw the lawn was not done, called & spoke with a nice lady named Mary who tried contacting my original contractor who did not answer so she sourced a different contractor & told me he would come Saturday 7/24. I was disappointed to see no one came again. I received an email Sunday 7/25 saying that my lawn will be done Monday 7/26. Well, it's 7/26 at 1 pm & no service yet. I called again & spoke with David who was also very nice. He tried contacting my contractor but again, no answer. David offered me a 50% discount to keep me as a customer & not cancel the services after expressing that as a first time customer, I was not happy with the lack of commitment on their side.
I will wait to see if they come by the time I get home tonight.
David was very honest when I asked him if this happens often, he said that sometimes there are several reschedules before someone can get to your house.
Hopefully they will come but if I have to source a different company, I will more than likely cancel this service although I did really want to try them out.

Bad customer service! They schedule your mowing service but deliver service two weeks late. Unreliable company...
Forget about their service, they know not the meaning. I have been waiting for a refund for over 3 months. They are CON MEN. RUN FROM THEM!
There is nothing EASY about TASK EASY! I requested a lawn service on June 27,2019 and the company sends an email "Thank you for your Lawn Mowing order! We are currently assigning a contractor to your property. We'll email you 24 hours before they arrive as a reminder". On June 30th I followed up because there still wasn't a contractor assigned and zero notification. Then on July 1st Task Easy canceled (TaskEasy has discontinued this Task with the following comment: No Contractors in Area - We were unable to find a contractor in the customer's area). You think i would've learned my lesson but being in customer service I decided to reorder the service. On July 6th I again made a request with the company for a lawn service. Good news it was scheduled for July 10th bad news its July 10th and they rescheduled. It did rain and fully understand but to reschedule to a future date of July 16th (6 days from when it was originally scheduled) is UNACCEPTABLE. When I called customer service they couldn't provide me with an answer as to why it would be 6 days. The on duty supervisor was "TO BUSY" and wasn't available to speak with me on the phone. BAD BUSINESS! To make matters worse I came home from a trip to find my lawn mowed. After speaking with someone whom claimed they would contact me back via phone or email. I never received any communication alerting me that the service was scheduled for July 14th. Only an email that the task had been completed and of course charging my account. This company has terrible customer service!
