Anxious to lock you into doing business then zero customer support. The final straw was then they told me my bank messed up their payment where I confirmed they never even tried. Pretty sure I was being forced out since my tiny once every other week job wasn't making enough money for them.

I scheduled a mow with task easy because my husband was sick, they did a fantastic job and my husband was very happy with it too. We decided to stay on the schedule for every other week. The contractors never showed up for a second job, even though I'd been scheduled for weeks out! Customer service was useless and kept saying my contractor was coming & that they had other customers. It's annoying to try to be home and keep your dog put away while hoping and waiting for someone to show up. No emails for a cancel or delay either, you have to harass them for a wishy-washy answer. What is the point of the recurring service if they first one is all you get? I will use someone who has time and actually wants my money. Will never use again.

HORRIBLE COMPANY
August 19, 2020

Do not waste your time - they will schedule and cancel - promise someone will be there - nobody ever shows up. Asked to speak to a supervisor or manager multiple times, they can not find one and offer a call back in 24 to 48 hours.

I was quoted one price and the first time they mowed the lawn I was charged five dollars more. When I called to cancel the service I was told they would find somebody else for a little less and they never returned my call. Try thumbtack, much better people to deal with.

I live in an apartment complex, The Pines of Newpointe in Virginia Beach. So naturally I wouldn't ever think to contract any of these services. Also, I am in the Navy, so while I was gone, one of the contractors went into my apartment, stole a $200 vape, drank hundreds of dollars worth of liquor, a dog food scoop, and a zippo lighter. And as the night continues we noticed that they also used one of our bathrooms to relieve themselves. Terrible company, terrible employees. I'm sure not all of them are. I'm just mad. Here's a hat to prove I'm not just $#*!ting on a company.

I have been pleased with the services provided by Taskeasy. One time a contractor didn't finish my lawn and I called. It was fixed before the weekend. They really do care about the customer. I started it as a one time deal but keeping it going.

TaskEasy has charged me full price multiple times for incomplete work. They charge you when you decline the tasks without contacting you before the charges show up. Most contractors don't finish the work and you get multiple rescheduling of service.

I need lawn mowing for a vacation. Scheduled it 12 days in advace then confirmed by task easy. Evening lawn was to have been mowed, I get an emai saying it was not completed and they would follow up with contractor. This was not done and the same thing happened week 2. Company is likely a fraud. I do not yet know if they have billed my card or done any charges but I would avoid at all costs

My contractor never showed. For four days straight I contacted customer service andWas told repeatedly that my service would be completed the next day the next day would come and go and once again they wouldn't show up very frustrating company to work with. My lawn as well over 14 inches now my own lawnmower won't cut through it so I am so disappointed in this company

HORRIBLE COMPANY!

This company is horrible. Within the past couple of years, there have been numerous rescheduling dates. This year they reschedule not once, not twice but three times... but the forth time (and 4 weeks after my last mowing) they tell me that they are terminating my service because they don't have contractors in the area. They should told me 3 weeks ago. Last year they came to the house, took pictures and didn't do a thing except charge my card. My bad that I didn't terminate them first. Again, horrible service. DON"T USE THEM. THEY ARE VERY UNRELIABLE!

No Accountability, Probably a Scam

I signed up for the bi-weekly task easy service and they had done 3 services with no issue. However last week the contractor did not show up to mow the lawn, no call and no notice they just didn't show. Later I got an email from Task Easy that they saw it wasn't done and would assign someone new in a few days. Well when that contractor arrives they say that they need to charge me $110 extra because the lawn is overgrown... well yeah it's overgrown because you didn't mow it on time. Task Easy support was very difficult because they kept saying "We can get someone out there today if you are willing to pay extra funds" or that they could assign a new contractor but I'm sure that contractor would also ask for additional funds and probably even more with how the lawn grows until they get there. So basically if anything happens to delay service Task Easy will expect YOU to make up the difference. And of course since no reason is provided as to why the contractor didn't show up it's a great money making scheme for them. Schedule a mowing service, don't actually mow the lawn, show up days later when the grass is taller and charge an extra $100. Every day that I argue about the overcharge the grass gets taller, the charge gets higher, and if I want to change providers then I'll have to pay an overgrown fee anyway. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TASK EASY! It's easy to set up an appointment but they have no accountability

Super easy to use, takes a couple of minutes to order the service and you don't have to pay until you review the photos and approve the completed work. Very happy with the service and using the app has been a great experience.

Were a day late. Mowed the wrong property. Wouldnt come back for another week. Then said the lawn was overgrown and either we had to pay a lot extra or wait another week to have another contractor come out.

Someone who is contracted with taskessy showed up to cut my lawn in which I didn't consult with them to do so. This is a scheme to collect on so called vacant homes and steal them.

I hire taskeasy for yard service. Including in my package was weeding the flower bed. However the person Jason that was assigned to mow the yard refuse to pull the weeds. Taskeasy approved of that though, I paid for that service. Jason was willing to come back under his condition no weed pulling, Keep in mind that is what I am paying for. I said no then I receive an e-mail from taskeasy that said I was not a right fit for task. Why is that because they want me to give up a task that I am paying for? Task has engaged in the worst form of gamemenship to reach their own goals. Shame on them. Kathy

The first time they came out they did a great job, my yard looked super.
The next week, they sent an email to say they would be out the next day.
No show. Emailed me again said they'd be out the next day, again no show.
Next day, sent a text saying they would be out in 5 days. Canceled. Just ridiculous

Terrible company

I have been in the preservation industry almost 20 years, and this is absolute worst ever company.

These guys are terrible. They will take your reservation and act like it's all set to go, when in reality, when you lock in your reservation, that's when they START to try to find a contractor that might or might not show up on that day to mow. Their communication is awful, as in they'll email you the day of and let you know no one is coming. That becomes a bit of a pain when it's to mow grass that KEEPS GROWING. If you're not sure the contractor can make it, don't act like the time slots are available. It's easier for me to just find a contractor and lock in a job than give it to a sub-par middleman, which is what TaskEasy appears to be. STAY AWAY.

I have been more or less forced to use them for roughly 2 years. I have trouble finding contractors in the area b/c I don't live near a home I inherited. This company advertises that they are in the area. The contractors they use lie, send old/fake photos, etc. They increase the price by no less than 10% every single year.

TaskEasy doesn't check the work at all. You are on your own when it comes to ensuring that the contractors aren't straight up lying. Hell, I had one contractor try to get me to pay for a major repair to his mower b/c he was saying there all sorts of metal debris in the yard. I took a magnet roller that's used to cleanup roofing jobs to the yard and in total, I found 2 small pieces of debris (a nut and a small piece of scrap metal a few millimetes long).

More than once I have had the company put me off for OVER A MONTH getting services going. This year, they hounded me with phone calls to start my service back. I finally did and 2 weeks later, I had to message them and ask what the heck was going on b/c nobody had cut the grass at the home. 4 days later I get a reply saying sorry, they are canceling my service b/c they couldn't find anyone to do it. WTF is wrong with this company. Now the lawn is in bad shape and I'm sure I'll have to pay someone (assuming I can find another company) extra for that first job.

And no offense, but hire some native English speakers and give them headsets that don't sound like a 20 year old McDonald's drive thru! I've had to hang up and call back just to speak to someone I can actually understand.

Saint Paul, MN. I was out of town and paid for mows by looking at the photos uploaded by mower. Got home to find 1/4 of the yard had been missed for a month and grass was knee-high. Emails went unanswered for days, so I called. I hoped the mower could come out and finish what he'd missed, but no. I was told by a supervisor that since I'd already paid, I was out of luck. Also, I hadn't contacted then within 48 hours (I guess emails don't count), so also out of luck. Once you pay or once 48 hours passes, the guarantee no longer applies. I feel the blame here goes to the company and their misleading guarantee promise, and not the mower. If they'd bothered to contact him, he probably would have come back.
