As a contractor prayer taskeasy I find this up to be helpful and if you know what you're doing and you're able to complete as many tasks as you're taking on it shouldn't be a problem once you are dedicated to their job AR the ones that don't show up and for that it's unfortunate but don't blame it on the app
These people are awful! After almost a month of rescheduling me, they charged me $90.00 for only my back yard and wrote it up as overgrowth. Stay away!
TaskEasy has made such a difference in our lives. Our lawn was looking really raggedily of late. My husband working 12 hour shifts 5 - 6 days a week was just too difficult. So I googled "lawn care" and found TaskEasy. Oh, how simple to describe my area needing work, their program lets me see an areal view of our lot and draw exactly where I want them to work. A price is determined, and I dediced to take a chance. So glad I did. This morning they weeded my flower bed (which was a diaster with growth), trimmed back my whisteria, trimmed, mowed, and even removed the grass growing in cracks of my driveway. So happy. Couldn't be more pleased.

I used TaskEasy for a one time lawn mowing treatment over memorial day weekend since my lawnmower broke. The contractor they used broke my fence gate and I have been in a ongoing battle with them to simply make the repairs. Their contractor denies they did it and since I dont have "video" proof Taskeasy is trying not to be accountable. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE unless your at home and you walk the property after they finish to look for damage. I am now contacting the BBB and disputing all charges to my credit cards in an attempt to get my gate fixed.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. They will increase your prices without any notice or recourse. I can understand a small increase due to the economy but since it's the end of the season they want to increase my service 50% then blame it on their contractors.
I am a person that normally does not write reviews of any kind. On rare occasion a service or product is either so good or so bad that I decide to write a review. When I started with task easy I thought it would be a good service since it seemed convenient; and, I liked that they would send pictures when they finished their work. But, it is actually terrible. I am a very patient person that tries to think the best and give a chance; but, this is just too much. They have done so many reschedules that twice I decided to just skip the service and mow my own lawn because weeds are now taking over since it is not getting proper regular cuts. I thought surely a lawn company cannot be so bad with their schedules that they have to reschedule so many times. It would be one thing if the reschedule was weather related; but, most reschedules seem to happen on days that are perfect for lawn mowing - so, it makes no sense. Attached is a picture of the latest rescheduling of my service plus screenshot of what the weather report is like for my area per the days shown in the rescheduling. I am on their bi-weekly schedule. With this many reschedules, if you were a weekly customer, you may be lucky to get bi-weekly service. I pay for lawn mowing service because I want to not have to worry about mowing my lawn. With this service, I am either worried on when they will finally show up Or have to mow my own lawn to have peace of mind. Clearly it is past due time for me to cancel this service which I plan to do. If you are considering to get this service, I hope this review will be of help.
Would give it zero stars if possible. The company is such a disgrace and fraud. Their contractor broke my ac unit condenser on the outside of the house. That area has no walkway so no one else expect the lawn mower would use it. I had to get the unit replaced which cost me $2000. Filed a claim with them. Their investigation said:
There is no grass that side to cut ( provided pictures to prove that yes there is grass).
The contractor said he never mowed grass on that side. (Provides pictures again to prove that grass was regularly cut there.)
Then the contractor agreed that he cut the grass on that side.
They said your tenants or being ours broke it. ( provides proof again that the house was empty for 2 months when the unit was broken).
I'll be been living in the neighborhood for over 10 years, never had any issues with any neighbors. This company is blaming the neighbors.
They said the damages on the unit are too High for a lawn mower to hit it. They think the contractors used small lawn mowers and not the commercial ones.
No one came out to the property to check or investigate at all. They said they spoke to their contractor, who said no he didn't hit it and they closed the claim saying investigation completed.
I don't know who they sent to cut my grass but it was the worst cut I have ever seen. Patches and cut grass left on the lawn. Not worth the trouble. Can do much better somewhere else
Do not use this service to get jobs they take to long to do anything and when you try and get the email for the job manager they can't give it to you
If I could give them zero stars I would. There ends up being nothing easy about this as all. They will find someone to cut your lawn days out. That person will not show up, and then you will spend the next two days arguing with their customer service. All customer service is allowed to do is call the same contractor who already didn't show up, and is unresponsive to all phone calls or messages. When they finally okay it for you to get another contractor, they tell you that they cannot guarantee that it will be same day, and mostly things get scheduled 4-5 days out... which now means a really over grown lawn. I finally was able to escalate this to someone who could guarantee me same day service, but again I would be charged extra for an over grown lawn... when I started this process a week ago. Overall, their contractors are incompetent, customer service is horrible and the cost was already well more than what I was already paying. I wouldn't waste your time. I went with this service because I thought it would make scheduling our lawncare easy, but I was way wrong... NEVER USE THIS SERVICE!

Their app deleted the before pictures of the lawn and then they refused to pay me for it. Happened twice, they stole $80 from me. Go to lawnstarter.com instead.
They will cheap both the customer and the vendor out of their money. Someone in NYC office decides whether or not your lawn is cut, whether or not you pay for it, etc. This is the biggest SCAM!
I got an email from them saying the usual "see you in 24 hours", and when I checked the online calendar, there was no job scheduled for that day. I notified them before the job. They came and mowed anyway, and charged me. I emailed them saying they charged me for an unscheduled job I did not want or agree to. They said they could not find the email telling them ahead of time, so since there was no prior notice of the SCHEDULED JOB, it was approved. So they will literally plan jobs NOT on your scheduled job calendar, and if you do not TALK TO SOMEONE within the 24 hours to make SURE it was canceled, they charge you anyway, for the unneeded job that you did not want. Enjoy.
They do not pay enough plus if over grown properties they don't want to pay extra! They take advantage of contractors!
Unreliable. For two months they promised to do yard work on a premium price. For two months they are a no-show. Customer service non-responsive. Always a promise to do better. Promise always broken.
Used this service twice dissatisfied both times, employees don't clean up lawn clippings or do any raking whatsoever, cut grass and leave
Originally was scheduled for a one time lawn cut on 9/24, then it was moved to 9/25, then 9/29! Called customer service after the delay from 9/25/2019, was assured by the customer service rep they would come on 9/29/2019. They even spoke with the contractor. The reason for the delay I was given was the contractor was changed after the initial scheduling, and the second contractor was only in my area on Sundays. Fair enough, I decided to give it one more chance.
9/29/2019 rolled around, nobody came. Lawn is now so long I would definitely be charged for the 6+ inch lawn fee. I called and emailed that night, they were closed. I called on 9/30/2019 when they opened, it had a 45 minute wait to speak to someone. I gave up and mowed the front myself. Called later in the day and spoke to someone, they again told me it was a "miscommunication" and someone "may be by today but (I) don't know because I didn't speak to the contractor but he is in your area." Asked for a discount because of the egregious delay and the fact that my yard is now half mowed, rep said that wasn't possible and that they charge for full yard - and that they would be charging $72, which is even more than what the app said it would be with the 6+ inch fee (62.79) I told them to cancel.
Horrific experience. I am deleting this app and telling everyone I know not to use it. What a huge waste of my time! I wanted this app for convenience and reliability, it shows the inability to accomplish either.
I have been with this company for about three years. I just stopped my service two days ago. There are several different contractors that supposedly comes and cut your grass. Several times I had to cancel because they did not do a good job, or did not show. I would complain and they would still take the money out of my account.
There were times they would not show up in weeks. I would let them know that when they are on their way please let me know because they are not mowing certain areas of my yard. I do not get a call. I wind up mowing my own grass. Several times they would not show up when they were scheduled. I mow my lawn and they come by take pictures stating that they did it and send the pictures to the company.
I let the company know that I have cameras and these people did not do anything.
This was the last straw two days ago. I put in a request to cancel two weeks ago. Mind you I cut my grass on June 18,2022. They stated that they were at my home on June 23,2022. They seen the grass was cut. And took pictures saying they did it. On June 27, I notice money was taking out of my account. I called the company and let them know I canceled, and you took money out of my account and it was listed on the site that I canceled. They usually take the money out within two days. They waited a week. I notice that the pictures were taking on Monday June 27,2022. And not June 23. I notice it rained and I left my umbrellas on my back porch that morning. With my push cart. My house camera caught them taking pictures of my lawn saying they cut it. I explained to them. That they did not mow my lawn on that day. They told me that I had 48 hours to complain. I let them know at the time I did not receive an email and you were supposed to call me once you reached my property and also I canceled. Well I let them know that I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. ASAP. Do not use this service!
Absolutely a fraud. July 9th I submitted an order. In it I selected the entirety of the front, middle, back yard of my home. Roughly 5K feet to mow/blow. It was overgrown, I expected to pay an additional price and an additional price was given to me when the contractors arrived. I ok'd and they said they would begin. Most of the people who showed up to my house left, leaving 1 man and a single lawn mower. They mowed the front, and roughly 15% of the middle yard, touched none of the back. The man they left here spent the next hour smoking cigarettes' in my front yard and playing on his phone. I assumed that the overgrowth was too much and they needed more tools, no big deal. However, TaskEasy reached out to me to tell me the contractor had somehow finished the mow? I contested the completion considering over 1/2 the lawn wasn't mowed and nothing was blown. Debris was strewn all over the property, gates left open. I took photos and responded to TaskEasy with my dissatisfaction. They said they would contact the contractor to follow up to my satisfaction. At this point I was still thinking things were ok, perhaps a bad contractor. However, no one ever returned to my property, and without fail I receive "We're following up with your contractor" emails every other day. I email TaskEasy regarding this issue to see what is going on. I ask what they are going to do to make things right, they offer me 20% off on a service that never happens. My service after emailing them with proof of their poor work was continuously mysteriously canceled and rescheduled every week until the beginning of August '22 when I canceled my service with them. Very unreliable and terrible customer service. If I could give it no stars I would.
