My friend and I joke that you cannot go in Target (or shop online) without your bill being under $100. When it is, we rejoice. You may walk in needing one thing, but then see the sale rack and walk out $100 poorer.
Target carries all of the non toxic and/or organic brands that I love to buy for my home & children. I love that they carry Honest Company products and have many aisles dedicated specifically to non toxic products. I have never gotten anything less than quality from this store. I shop here about once a week. There is a Target 5 minutes from my house, which I am very thankful for. Customer service has never let me down and they have the nicest selections in their home department by FAR!
Target has everything! Make sure to get the cartwheel app. Yes, it's a pain in the butt to have to pick your coupons (or you can just scan it when you are there with your phone) but you will save some money. Why pay full price, right?
I like shopping at target.com especially for small item purchases around the house that I constantly need because I have a target credit card I never have a care about shipping. My only issue is they don't update inventory online accurately so a lot of the times my items are out of stock and unfortunately I find that out a couple days later. Because life gets so busy, having a brick and mortar store like Target makes it easy for a quick run and parking isn't as crazy as Walmart thank goodness!
We went to target to look for black hair products. NONE! A poor selection and an extra small section. We asked the employee where the rest of them were and she was embarrassed. Pitiful. I think target is racist and we take all of our business to Wal-Mart. Now target has honey pot junk for blacks. So pitiful. Dont be in the community if you only serve Beverly Hills.
It seems like every retailer in this class tries to carry everything these days, and Target is no exception. They are a little higher priced than Walmart, with a little less selection, but most things are a bit higher quality. Chances are, you'll have a bit easier time finding help with your purchase, too.
The latest addition that I'm aware of is a grocery section. Not very large, limited selection but *different* than some of the other stores around, and decently priced. Adjacent is a Target liquor store, with similar selection and pricing characteristics.
On the whole, I think its a step up from Walmart, and lots cheaper than the stores in the Shopping Mall. If your needs are pretty ordinary, then Target is a good places to satisfy them. If you want something more unique and/or higher quality and are willing to pay for it, then head for the specialty shops in the nearest Shopping Mall.
Not bad, good value, big selection. I think that pretty well sums up Target.com. In particular, I'd like to point out Target.com's furniture. It's not fancy, but some of it's not bad and if you spend over $50 often items will ship for free. Also most of Target.com's furniture is not available in stores. Also, they show reviews of all their items so you can get an idea of what you're getting into. I think it's a decent alternative/compliment to Ikea.
Literally everytime I order from these people it's broken upon arrival. I'd suspect the delivery service until you open up the packaging, or lack there of. This time we ordered candles. Glass candles. This is EXACTLY how they packaged fragile glass coming from Indiana to Massachusetts. Are you KIDDING ME? I opened the box, this is exactly how it was packaged. Talk about incompetence
Been to Target in Myrtle beach, S. C twice this week. This place has gone down in customer service. They refused price matching with Walmart last time I was there. Plus today had an sign claiming 20% of Nerd products, I had to fight with this old hag and three other people finally got what was displayed. Hate this place.
They make me wait 3 days after expected delivery date... and call them back and they will give replacement... I said ok, but they only replace one item out of four items ordered... they can't replace rest of 3 items... wtf... they won't give free fast shipping like next day for their mistake... now I have go to store and get one... what a waste of time with target customer service...
I've been a loyal Target customer for a decade or so. I shop there for electronics, home appliances, kitchen, patio and personal care products. I am very happy with the quality and design of my purchases for the most part.
In comparison to Target's main rival - Walmart - the store is less crowed and better organized. Whenever I enter Target I feel a sense of coming home or at least coming to something quite familiar.
But I never shopped from Target's web site. Why should I when I have a Target nearby;-)
Let's face it, stores like this have come and gone for many years. Overall I think they do a great job. I went in yesterday for one thing, found a pair of pants at a very nice price, bought some socks, a loaf of bread and some milk. That was good, but beware of their prices on things like bananas. It is a hard store to enter and not find something to buy... but that is not a bad thing... and they are more organized, nicer, and less crazy inside then a Walmart.
I cancelled my Red Card and asked them to remove all of my personal data from their computers. It took awhile, but the agent finally spoke with someone and was able to comply. There stand on homosexuality is blatant and immoral--even having kid's clothes and the kid's section in rainbow colors is disgusting.
I bought and ordered for pick up at a location closest to me. Found out that it was of stock. Sent it to another Target almost 20 miles away. Was out of stock there. Then just ordered it on Amazon same day delivery. If you don't have an item why say it's in stock. Fix your inventory numbers. And show what you actually have in stock in store. Very upsetting that they couldn't of figured this out by keeping a better count on what's in stock or not available per store.
I've been a long time customer of Target. Recently I used Target online using the red card for a large, diverse order. Great communication about when to expect delivery. It was accurate and fast and exactly as described. And shipping was free. Will definitely be using Target on line again.
Manager Ronnie Martin would not help us on a TV we bought from Target that was damaged before pickup. Employee said it was okay to pickup. TV was purchased 2 weeks before mother's 70th birthday so it took her a couple more weeks to have it installed. Manager Ronnie Martin also said that because after 2 weeks then we would have to go through the manufacturer. So they want us to pay for shipping and time and hassle over a mistake that they made? WOW. I guess they just lost a lifetime customer over 32 inch TV, hope it was worth it to you guys. I'm taking my business to Costco now with a much more reasonable return policy. Bye Felicia.
Made me stand in the exchanges & return line to do an online order pick up.
I'll never do this again. What a waste of time. It would have been faster for me to purchase my item in the store and stand in line at the register. What sense does that make to make me stand in the return line with 10 other people doing returns 2 days after Christmas for an online order pickup.
I have been an avid Target shopper for years; however, recently, it is not making the grade. They often do not order enough stock; have many products that are either expired or too close to expiration; and have raised their prices so much, that it is no longer a great savings to shop at Target.
I miss the old Target of days gone by. Wish they would wise up and give the good products and service they became known for.
Target keeps cancelling my orders! First of all, I rarely shop Target and when I tried to recently buy few items and the order was cancelled and I placed it again, thinking nothing and guess it was cancelled as well! So I found out, if you have done tons of refunds or returns in the past, your address can be affected/blacklisted! But guess what, I live in a building with so many apartments so why cancel my order? My address has different apartment number, geniuses! There are so many apartments in this building! Thanks Target for no help and your customer service based overseas where reps barely speak English and many dont even care, they are probably trying to make their minimum country wage and while Target is trying to save pennies by shipping customer service to third world countries so forget you Target!
My wife and I stopped at the target in Springfield pa.
Loaded the cart with our needs only to find all of the self checkouts in the store were close and they only had two registers open in the hole up and down stairs.
We got in line behind the other 40 people waiting to check out.
After standing in the same spot for what seamed like forever in reality 16 minute's without any movement whatsoever.
People started asking them to open the self checkouts so we could all Make our purchases.
The man standing guard or so it seamed just said no wait your turn.
After that several people including my wife and I found no need to stay in line any longer and simply left our carts and walked out of the store in Discussed.
For my wife and I never to return again.
That is simply no way to treat customers all they had to do was open the self checkouts or more Registers. Simple Ridiculous
Answer: Looks like Target has sent a lot of ringers here to up their ratings in the last few months. Nice try guys but your whole shopping experience is still subpar. To answer this question, IT DEPENDS on where you live and what you order. If you're right next to their warehouse, SURPRISE, it's there in a day and you think they are fantastic. If you live far away, the item is no longer in stock or they are slow to fill it, it could take six weeks. It did for us on a couple of occasions, SO it's the luck of the draw and certainly NOT better than Amazon.

Answer: Be careful. If the item suddenly becomes unavailable that you already paid for you will have to wait 30 days for your refund.
Answer: Sometime from other sites, malware can be picked up to track your internet history. I don't think target's website would carry that!
Answer: I'm sorry. I ordered a lot from target.com and never had a problembefore, but when I finally did have a problem... hours and days on the phone. One of the service techs put me on hold for 30 minutes. Another put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up. Horrible.
Answer: I was unable to purchase a prepaid phone card with my gift card. This fact was not disclosed in the product description so I found out at the checkout when it was too late. Now am stuck with the useless gift card. I am very disappointed in Target shopping and will never buy anything from them ever again. I do not recommend Target shopping to anyone. Spare yourself some aggravation and shop elsewhere. Enough said.
Target has a rating of 2.2 stars from 1,742 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Target most frequently mention customer service, gift card and online order. Target ranks 7th among Department Store sites.
