T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

I returned T-Mobile wi-fi device in 1 week after receiving it because of weak signal. T-Mobile agreed to full refund if the device is returned within one month. T-Mobile refunded $50 monthly fee back to me. Then they hired collection agency to get $50 back. Spoke to customer service twice. They promised to stop the collection, but never did. Collection agency they hired did not listen to my arguments and submitted collection reports to credit companies. Had to file disputes with each credit company. Please do not use T-Mobile.
I feel 1 star is being extremely generous. My grandfather died in January and I am STILL trying to get the bill fixed. After providing the death certificate 4 times along with the paper work, the account is still not switched. For 2 months after his death I couldn't hook a card up to pay for the bill. Once I finally could hook my card up, I was charged not only late fees for the company's mistake I was charged for his equipment, which no one could locate. Months later and I'm still dealing with late fees and fees no one can explain. I call and get fake names, am hung up, or given the run around every single time. I've asked for itemized bills numerous times to see what exactly I am charged for and never once received one. Almost a year later and I got tired so I asked if my phone was unlocked to go to another provider because my issues were still unsolved and I was told the phone was unlocked (it wasn't). Well, Tmobile played themselves. Now, I traded in the locked phone for the same exact one with a new provider, I owe nothing on my phone, and since the bill was never placed in my name like I asked it is unpaid and never will be again. Please please please find a provider that not only values you and makes sure you feel heard but also hasn't faced numerous lawsuits for data security breech and violating consumer rights.
I was told my phone was outdated and if a up graded these problems would go away. I up graded and second day the problems continued, I went in the store they gave me a new sim card and said that should do it. The Problems continued. So I got a replacement phone cost me 20 dollars, but the same problems kept reoccurring. And that conclude it is the T-Mobile towers. And they refuse to accept responsibility for supplying me with poor or defective service. T-Mobile
Just wants to sell phones if you are getting poor service no one cares as long as they take your money. T mobile ownes the towers and should be held accountable for supplying poor service to there customers.
I have T-Mobile 7 years ago they rob me so much money make me sign deals with all lies than send me huge bills to my house finally got out of their claws, yesterday I go and try to get the smart watch for my little girt they said is free 10$ a month okay that sounds to good to be T-Mobile after I when thru trying to get it, they want me to move all my family lines to them so I can get the watch for free and pay 10$ a month but if I don't do that I have to pay full price for the watch and 70$ plus tax plus some type of fees at month, gues what they haven't change they just got worse trying to sell me an kids smart watch over $300 after all the fees not an Apple Watch just a kid smart watch beware they send you home with brand new phones paying nothing but just wait for the first bill good luck everyone.
I asked for my internet account to be closed by the end of November, 2022. They agreed, and I returned their equipment on Dec. 3 (I have a receipt proving that.) Now on December 23, a monthly payment was taken out of my account. When I called to ask why, I was told the account had never been closed.
It's obvious that Tmobile is training its customer representatives to lie and to add items to your account/deals without asking you about it. Be aware of what they offering you vs what they really give you! They will try to lure you with extra nice service, but wherever is sweet talk it's hidden craziness. They tried to scam me 3 times giving me different deals then what originally we spoke about and added more staff that we never spoke about. So I went from 150 a month deal to 250? Glad my phones are going back to them and I'm canceling deals with them. Imagine dealing with them for years no thanks
I have two phones from sprint and now
T mobile. In the last couple months sense
T Mobile taken over we have had lots problems making calls. I know several people that have had same issue making calls a.nd people can't hear you.
Having to turn off phone and then redial to talk to some one. Unfortunately when it was Sprint we never had this problem.
I tell people that I can not recommend T Mobile.
Very unhappy with service in Houston Tx area.
Multiple technicians, all speaking English as a 2nd language tried to get a new internet gateway online and failed. Wasted more than 3 hours of my life and then 4 months later tried to charge me $395 for unreturned equipment!
Customer Sercice refuses to provide phone number to Retention or Corporate office. BBB complaint will be submitted by customers
Horrible customer service that I have ever had since I was 7 years of service. No xxxx about the current customer but they only care about getting new. And, try to sell upgrade to bump up the sales revenue.
I have been a T-mobile customer for almost 10 years now. The best part of T-Mobile was their billing consistency along with great customer service. For the past few months, their customer service is not as good, but worse is their bill consistency. After three calls to customer service, I am still getting charged for the home internet service that didn't work for me and was returned to T-Mobile. Each time I call customer service, they provide me their personal guarantee that the credit will be put back on my bill - but each time, they charge me $50. I have 11 lines with T-Mobile and may start shopping around with Verizon if issues continue with T-Mobile. I hate to leave them, but may not have an option if they keep charging me for services that I don't have.
I left t mobile 7 months ago, and they are still charging me $10 a month for a line I have no idea even existed! There is a credit for leaving, and said would send a check but every damn month get another invoice saying payed $10 from the credit. Customer service is non existent. I just waited on hold for 1 hour to get this once and for all figured out, but no one picked up. Waste of time and I think they are just hoping they can get away with screwing people over. You can't do anything about it cause no one there cares. The stores have no idea how to help. Just call that number they say. I HATE T MOBILE!
Went into the Dover location Saturday and was helped by Roma K. To get out of my old servicer and on with T-Mobile. Couldn't have been happier with the professionalism and expertise on getting us taken care of. Would recommend T-Mobile and Roma to anyone!
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Very rarely do I get the answer from someone with common sense who understands and satisfactorily resolves the problem I'm calling about.
I have been a customer of T-Mobile for years. 3 years prepaid. They don't recognize and almost 4 on a lease. They were fabulous. Now I say they are going down the tubes, especially at 4447 Slauson Street. Walter and Rebecca fabricate incredible stories. If Rebecca doesn't like a customer, she doesn't give you service. I had to wait almost a an hour for service. I was leased a new malfunctioning phone. I came to them for a replacement. I had to wait 10 days and was charged $20.00. I was supposed to get a discount on my early paid phone bill. I was charged full price.
We have tmobil for personal use and wanted to try there business services. We recieved a new iphone 14 pro, the service wasnt what we expected so we canceled 5 days into it (tmobil gives you 14 days to cancel).sent the phone back a week later to call 5 times to find out were my refund for the phone is. Ive been told 2 times it was processed and wait a couple days it will show up...nothing. Till this day still havent recieved refund. Yesterday we got a bill from tmobil for the monthly service they forgot to cancel...stay clear of them, they are the worst!
I had to go to T-Mobile in the Milford Mall because the T-Mobile in West Haven on sawmill Road was over charging me for items that she said she was giving me. Chris was the person who fixed all of my problem and gave me a credit for a phone that I really did not need. The other associates where also helping in getting my Samsung Gallery A13 to work properly. When you go to Flag T-Mobile store they know how to fix any problems that you may have.
Internet is sporadic at best.
Called customer service and was on hold for1 hr and 25 minutes. Still no answer!
I had a home internet service from T-Mobile, and due to poor service I requested to close my account in September 2022 and returned the equipment and received a confirmation mail for the same.
T-Mobile did not close my account and held it active for the next few months and billed me for October 2022 and November 2022 for $50& $48.18, for which $50 was cleared due to auto payment and the bill for November was sent to collection agency for non payment even when my auto payment was still intact.
I could not login to my account in the month of October 2022 as my account was closed, and the only way I could contact was through customer support, who assured me that my payment of $50 for October 2022 would be refunded and the balance payment for November 2022 of $48.18 which was sent to collection agency for non payment inspite of my auto payment still intact.
Now the T-Mobile agent that I spoke to today refused to listen to me and said that I need to make the payment and that my account was only deactivated on December 4th 2022, when I returned their equipment in September 24th 2022 and had no internet connection for October and November 2022.
Big Big cheaters, Kindly do not take T -Mobile connections.
Tried to draft $80.93 after they took 40 a week earlier. Bill wasn't due for 2 more days they said the extra fees are for reconnect fees
Answer: Take the cheapest, clunkiest, most useless data coverage you can imagine. Now imagine it not even working. You pay for something that is USELESS.
Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
