In the earlier days (maybe about 7-10 years ago), T-mobile wasn't this bad. The service in the last few years has been SO bad. They always start out with saying that they will for sure fix your issues. If you hear that you already know you are doomed. After talking with a clueless rep for an hour a supervisor will take over, and after wasting another hour or two will assure that it will be escalated appropriately and that someone will call you back. IT NEVER HAPPENS.
I had a grandfathered promotion (FREE 200 MEGS FOR LIFE) that was showing as expiring on my account online. I contacted them several times, each time they assured that it was a simple system glitch and not to worry about it. After it disappeared, they then said not to worry and that it would be restored. Then, it was already restored they said but not reflected yet on the account, just wait. The latest story is that it was never on the account OR it can't be applied anymore.
That was just one of several problems that reached no resolution.There was a time when Tmobile was great with their phone promotions. But back then their billing system was horrendous. But at least people would try to fix your problems. These days the billing system is better, but if there are ANY issues you're up a creek.

Called a store about getting phone replaced after kid destroyed my wife's phone. We was turned away after a half hour drive because we're Sprint customers? We had T-Mobile SIM cards on their network since two years ago. Gave us a difficult time when we said screw it we're switching companies then if they won't help us. They immediately tried sending us to collections as well instead of letting us pay off total on next billing cycle. Complete shady business tactics they were pulling. On top of this they always refused to change name on plan after we got married as well. Very annoying, crappy company from our experience. Service was always spotty too.
Do not even consider this service for your home! I got a TMobile hotspot for my home. It did not work. I immediately called customer service and I returned the hotspot immediately. I began receiving bills, customer service assured me,multiple times,that the problem would be resolved. I still continued to receive bills. The customer service department is a horrible joke. Wish I never heard of them.
I have never had an issue with my phone service, until I switched to T-Mobile! It is 2022 and my phone service in the late 90's worked better than their 5G service. Wtf even is this?

T-mobile is the worst cellphone company. Had issuses with my phone from day 1. Then they exchanged my phone for a new one. Then they tell me in order to accept or make calls unless I'm outside. Really? And there was NO credit given to me when I paid 90.00 for one line for 2-3 months. Their a big RIP OFF!
Purchased internet service which after 1.5 months of trying to get a good signal, I gave up.
Went to their store where I purchased it and was told by an extremely rude salesperson that if I wanted to cancel I needed to call their customer service and that the store ( in Haines City, Fl) would not accept their equipment because I needed to get a label to ship the equipment. After calling their customer line (someone in India answered) I was told that I needed to take the matter to the store. Finally I ended up going to another store in a different city to get it resolved.
Bottom line: Their phone internet did not work; their customer service is AWFUL!
T Mobile will not issue me a credit ($9.41) that was owned after I left their service. Despite having my account number, last 4 of my social security, phone number, full name and address, and their ability to see that they owe me the money. They keep telling me that they can not verify my account because I don't have my 6 digit pin number. Apparently there is no way around this. Completely ridiculous.
I have been a loyal customer for over a year as a customer I deserve honesty not the run around. T-Mobile Customer service still owes me money the supervisor lied to me and their so -called experts too. I was told 2-4 times my money would be deposited in my bank account and never was like the supervisor told me it would. These people are not experts they are out to rob you they are scammers and they never apologized once for giving me the run around they kept telling me the same story more than once. Just excuses they don't care about customers just out to rob you.

I purchased a Motorola flip phone,2021 model from T-Mobile it was great at the beginning,something went wrong with the phone I called their costumers service with no help what's so ever.after 40 something phones calls they told me that they would replace the phone and they did with a 2019 model that's when I stopped service with T-Mobile.but why should I pay for an older model when I was paying for a newer one?
THE WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE. They are rude and could care less about their customers. After the forced switch I had no service and for 2 years they told oh we're working on it and nothing so I switched to another provider and now they WILL NOT GIVE ME the number that i've had ever since I've had a phone. Because they are saying it's theirs. They have done nothing but harassed us. 0 out of 10 DO NOT USE T-MOBILE.
I switched from version and was told my phone would work they just needed to send me a new sim. When I got it, it was spotty and then stopped working altogether. When I called they said it was locked so we called Verizon with TMobile on the line and they said it was unlocked. I went back and forth for weeks and even went to the store and they said if they couldn't get it working they would give me a new phone. Now that I've tried all the things they said they now claim they can't give me a phone because I don't qualify. TMobile is the worst cell carrier I've ever had. They lie and just want to trap you. Also DONOT buy a phone from them or you will be stuck because their refunds are only 14 days and they will drag you through tech support until the 14 days are up and you're stuck. Worst company ever. I hope they get sued and go bankrup.
I was having issues with changing from Sprint to T-Mobile SIM cards I did not like the idea of it because I had issues with T-Mobile before there's SIM card but Kenny at the South Lindbergh location help me out with all that And also again he helped me out today with my with my T-Mobile drive safe that you plug into your car...
It's kind of bad when you call in to customer service or anybody like that It don't seem like they can help anybody at all because it sounds like they don't know anything soon as I go into the store everything gets taken care of again I want to say a big thanks to Kenny at the South Lindbergh store and their other employees... For further reference I will try my best not to call customer service just go to the store...

Sprint customer service was good T-Mobile customer service sucks
Because T-Mobile home internet is too slow for my house, I called to cancel it for full refund within the 15-days-test period and return all the devices. However, T-Mobile still sent me a final bill and charged me for $130 with the "non-return" devices. I called serveral agents and none of them were able to help. I suggest avoid T-Mobile at all costs. Their internet service is not fast and the customer service is really bad. They do not care to help you.
I was a customer for a few years until recently. Even switched to their internet service. No issues and always great customer service, UNTIL NOW! Internet service tanked and I had to switch. Customer service has gotten so bad that today alone I've been on hold for over 2 hours. Yesterday was horrible trying to explain the problem. I was billed for a phone that I returned. I have email proof that t-mobile received the phone. And was still billed almost 700 dollars for this. I called t-mobile who then told me "it's fine we will put the bill on hold because your phone is at the wearhouse, it just has not been scanned". However, even after a 40 minute phone call, the next day I get a bank notification that the payment was being processed. I called again and the same thing. They say "our bad, the bill will be put on hold. Tell your bank that blah blah blah." And today I wake up and all my money has gone to this stupid phone which got somehow scanned in the wrong warehouse. I am active duty military. And if you want, you can look at what I get paid a month, to which you'll see that the 700 equals about a THIRD of my monthly pay. That is money that is suppose to go to my school loans and other bills which I cannot pay now. I am going to have late fees. My bank is probably going to fine me because of this. This money was also supposed to go towards a visit of my mom's who I get to see maybe once a year. But its fine because I'll get a refund in 3-5 days right? It's a holiday week. I am overseas, and I'm broke right now. So no. It's not fine. I don't know how t-mobile is going to fix this but they'd better. The crappy service I pay out of my butt while being overseas isn't worth me loosing my savings.
Update: they have been promising my refund. They said 3-5 business days. It has been 2 weeks and I have been calling EVERY DAY. Every time I call they say "oh you'll get it in 24 hours." And it has been denied twice. (This has been going on for 2 months).
