This company false advertises engines & Transmissions that a junk. They use multiple company names such as, Engine & Transmission World (& Team), Jasper, SW Engines, Quality Used Engines & Transmission(& also Team), Gear Head Engines, Engine Shopper LLC, and many more!
They send bad engine (RUSTED, hydrocarbon issues), don't refund for core, IF you get a 2nd engine They don't pay for the labor to have their bad engine replaced! They claimed I never did the warranty although I called them several times a day (hang ups, transfer to, no one answers) for 6 months now. I WONT STOP!

I ordered a used engine on 12/13/22. It is 12/30/22. I have called 5 times to check the status of the order. No one will help me. They keep telling me I should have received an email from the parts manger (but I didn't). I gave them 2 additional email addresses. Today, the 4th time I called, they lady was as unhelpful as the rest. She said they sent me a final email notice today. No one can tell me what the email is about. I told her I was calling and could answer any questions. She couldn't help me, but she gave me another number. I called and had to leave a message. I happened to call back and got the guy who supposedly is responsible for the shipping (and for the emails). His name is Dale. Apparently he could tell who I was by my phone number because he did not ask my name or my order number. He immediately began by asking why I don't check my emails. He was extremely rude. I told him I had checked my emails daily in anticipation of a tracking number. I did finally get an email today about an hour prior to my call. It didn't ask for any information. It just said I should receive a tracking number soon. Other than the original "invoice email" this was the only email I received from them (attached). My billing address is my work address and I wanted it shipped to my house. Nothing would do him, but to insist that it be shipped to my office. I finally just said, fine, whatever it takes to get it shipped. He had a "smart, rude comment" for everything I said. At the end of the conversation, he said the driver would contact me when he got into town. I asked him if he had my number. Again, he was "smart and rude" and said no. I asked how the driver would contact me if he didn't have my number. He said they had the number xxxx. I told him that was the office number and not the best but that I had given my cell and my husbands cell when I placed the order. I had to give him those again. I don't know what this company's problem is. I am purchasing a product from them, but apparently it is an inconvenience for them to supply it. The first time I called the lady told me it would ship either before the New Year or after it. These people should not be permitted to deal with the public
My biggest concern at this point is that the promised warranty of 5 years/50,000 miles (the biggest selling point for this company) is probably worthless. If they can't help you get what you just purchased, they are not likely to assist you if it breaks!
Now that the engine is shipping to a place of business I wonder if I have any chance of having the $150.00 extra I paid for residential shipping refunded? Probably not.

I ordered my nissan engine on 10-18-22. Was told it was in stock with 85k miles. Called two weeks later and was told the engine was being tested and getting ready to be shipped. Next week same story. On 11-28-22 got a third party e-mail from a guy who said they are still looking me me a engine.? I canceled my order on 12-7-22 after being lied to for over a month. They said it would take 3 to 5 business days for me to get my refund... on 12-16-22 still no refund. :( so i got my credit card company involved. On 12-20-22 credit card company got my full refund. A total waste of 2 months. :(: ( only reason for a 1 star... is there are no zero stars. :) DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!
My online ordering experience was great. However, I wasn't fully advised of the length of delay in delivery I should expect. I was told it would take 7-10 business days for delivery which was acceptable, but when I called to check on the status, I was told it would be an additional 5-7 days, possibly longer for the precheck to be completed. Now the motor is in truck, called to find out how to get core back to them, hears where it gets weird, so follow close. Called on a thursday, i was told that i would be getting an email for directions, friday came NO email, called again, they said monday you will be getting directions on how to ship from (Mr. DALE JONES ex 2063). OK, monday comes no email. I call went to ext. 2063 (mr.jones, "DALE JONES") left message, get a reply from mr. DALE JONES. MR DALE JONES replied as follows We did receive your call for the core pick up, that is why im sending this by email, however it will be $679.54 to bring the core back to us. Instead of charging you the remaining balance of $179.54 for the shipping, we will just let you keep the core. So they are using me core charge to get there motor back. Ummmm, I replied back said the is not how the contract was writen, then a day later he comes back and says (MR DALE JONES "Alright we will credit the core charge when we receive the core then" So i asked for address again (NOW REMEMBER EVERYTIME I CONTACTED "MR MR DALE JONES, i gave him my number so we could talk things thru, but to no avail,

I have been so disgusted with a company more than SW engines & transmission. On top of receiving a defective transmission for my Mercedes Benz I also haven't received my labor claim refund which is under warranty, my step will be to contact my attorney and file a lawsuit for breach of contract. Scammers. They sold me an engine with "13k" miles assuming that I would not check the Vin number. Numerous times I requested the VIN number and I was told it would be with paperwork. Well no Vin on paperwork but it's stamped on engine block. The motor had over 63,000 miles on it not 13k like they stated. Oh well. Nice scam. Run away. Do not buy. Buyer be extremely aware.
Do not buy from them. They state that engines are cleaned and prepped, they are not. They lie and are only middle man, they outsource the motor from wherever. I paid $1700 for a 1990 bronco 5.0 because the photos were great, the sales rep assured me its a clean and ready engine, i received a worn out, very rusty and extremely dirty 302. I have to replace EVERYTHING on the motor. It also came damaged. They are ignoring my calls and emails. DO NOT USE THEM!
Cannot get SWEngines to send me a bill of lading so I can return transmission core and receive my deposit back. I believe this is a Chinese scam. All you can get is women with accents that you cannot understand. Auto salvage states they do not test engines SWEngines just has them drop ship to their customer. Don't believe the hype that engines are tested. They do not!
They suck, the engine I ordered came and it was bad, head gaskets we're bad, and broken heads. I put in a claim, and they never called me to send me a new one, it's been over 3 months since I put in the Colin, and did not hear from them at all. I've called 5 times to check and all they say is that the person in charge hadn't reviewed. So this is for a work truck that I need every day to make my business run, and had to buy a new truck, spend extra money because of these people not caring about their customers, I would give them a negative 5 review.

I spent almost $3000 on a motor that was advertised with 26,000 miles on it. The motor they sent said 29,000. The motor was ceased up broken parts all over it. Don't waste your time leaving a message they will not call you back! Warranty department said read the fine print! Plus the motor only turned 180° froze. They argued once they got motor and said it wasn't the motor they shipped. After I told them my attorney will be contacting you and you'll be paying more than the $3000 refund! My refund was in my account the next day! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY SHIP JUNKYARD MOTORS THAT SIT OUTSIDE! THEY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY BEWARE!
There is little good to share about this company. This company appears to be a high volume middleman for selling used engines "as us" despite advertising about clean and tested engines. #1 engine was filthy and two of the six cylinders were bad. One had zero compression. #2 engine had 5 good cylinders but the 6th had deposits on the top of the cylinder. #3 appears to be a good engine but the company refused to share any information including mileage on the engine. Plan on spending your money to test these engines. Plan on a marathon for getting a working engine. You will spend hours on the phone waiting and talking to people that care less about the customer. It took nine months to get my car back in service. This company is an embarrassment to American business.

The a absolutely worst online purchasing experience of my life.
They are NOT helpful. Dont answer phones and there are many hidden costs and conditions that, apparently, you agree to when you do business with them. When specifically told by their representative that "all you have to do is contact us after the installation, we will send you a shipping label, and you get the core charge retuned.
Turns out, that's not the case.
You will lose 75% of the core charge for shipping it back to them.
Oh, and complain to your credit card company, they void your warranty.
It's a scam.

I bought a used 6.6L LB7 Duramax diesel engine with an advertised mileage of 93,000 miles. What showed up is an engine with 293,000 miles. They refuse to refund a portion of the purchase price and they refuse to cover the cost of replacement. They are resposibile for significantly loweing the value of my vehicle and refuse to make me whole. The next call is to an attorney.
