I really love my new Fender Mustang JP short scale bass guitar! I love the surf green color and so does everyone in the band. It sounds great and easy to handle and play.
We purchased a new Behringer digital mixing setup from Sweetwater recently - X32 console, P16M monitors, and the S32 digitial snake along with the necessary supplies to hook it all up. Had a very positive experience working with our sales rep, Chris Barry, and he was incredibly helpful even when we had to make an upgrade/switch out of one piece of gear at the last minute. He processed our return authorization and had the new piece of gear shipped out to us free of charge in a matter of an hour. No sales tax and free shipping are a HUGE bonus feature too. Great experience - would definitely recommend!
I have used Sweetwater over the years on a couple different projects. Their main emphasis is knowledgeable salespeople. I was wanting to upgrade my entire studio and was hoping to let them know what I had and how I used it. I figured they could then give me some recommendations on the new products I would need and why. But basically the salesperson told me to just go on line and download some different software and playground with it until I found the one I liked. If all I need is to go to different sites and play with the demos, why do I need them. I can just buy direct or for a mail-order site with the cheapest price. I know they are suppose to give good support after the purchase, but if the support I got before spending money was nay indication, I would be afraid to purchase. I told them I wanted to get all new gear, but yet I have never been called back, no follow up. There was a certain amount of arrogance in the call, and really was not left in an encouraging way. I was excited at the start and really discouraged at the end of the call. Im not sure why it has to be this way. But I would not talk to that salesperson again. I just want be treated like I matter, I would like them to qualify me with their experience and help me in selecting the gear that best meets my needs.

I bought my first guitar online with Sweetwater this past month, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. I was so impressed with the excellent communication and overall professionalism that the sales team demonstrated throughout our interactions, from the initial selection and purchase to delivery.
I placed an order for a guitar from the Ibanez prestige series, and within 10 minutes, a sales representative from Sweetwater called me to personally confirm that they had received my ordered. He answered all of my questions and told me that he would call me personally if there would be any delay with my order. He called me back later that day to confirm my payment details and to tell me that my order had been placed.
Over the course of the next few days, I received multiple emails from the Sweetwater team, which let me track my order from shipment to the minute it arrived at my apartment. The guitar arrived in perfect condition and sounds amazing. It was packaged well - clearly a lot of care was taken to ensure it would arrive in great condition.
I will absolutely purchase from Sweetwater again, and I can't recommend them highly enough to anyone in the market for music instruments or equipment.
Lots of stuff to choose from, great quality, and awesome customer service. I even got a follow up call from a manager at Sweetwater to make sure my experience on that website was great.

Wanted a beginning sax for my teen Grandson and we found what he wanted at Sweetwater but it was made in China so I balked. Talked to a "sales engineer" and he assured me that everything brought in had had a multi (42 I think) point quality check and it would arrive pristine. When it arrived there was a brass ring part toward the top, holds the reed I think, that was obviously damaged. Easy to see and not done during U.S. shipping. Bad. After pics and some comms Sweetwater agreed to replace the part with an "upgraded" version of the part. I checked their similar parts and they offered the cheapest replacement possible (upgrade from what?). In the end I think the inspection statement is a marketing ploy and does not actually occur. Maybe a spot check but nothing thorough. The damage was extremely easy to see. When we go for an upgrade I will go out of my way to buy from someone else and even pay more. There were also some shipping (drop from 3rd party) problems for additional items so a very large hassle. Also no real apology or explanation of the mistake. Cold exchange. Beware. He loves the sax and he is getting good.
Every step of the way there's so much experience and knowledge to draw from here! I'm 10 steps ahead with every purchase, and 100 times happier! Not to mention Drake Sobehrad is the best!

I recently purchased a guitar on-line from Sweetwater Music. My first ever on-line guitar purchase. After, I received the guitar, aesthetically I did not like the guitar as I'm super picky. Therefore, I contacted Sweetwater and spoke with the sales engineer assigned to me who assisted me in selecting another guitar of the same kind form their vast collection. He also connected me to the customer service department and we made the arrangement for return and an exchange.
Subsequently, I saw another guitar listed in their gallery, and I decided to choose that one instead. I called back and my sales engineer as well as the customer service representative both had already left for the day. Therefore another sales engineer assisted me and kindly secured the guitar of my choice, and sent an internal memo to the customer service representative requesting the change.
All of the aforementioned activity after the initial receipt of my purchased guitar and returning it, took place in less than a 24 hour period including the shipment of the replacement guitar which I received the next day!
As a result of this experience with Sweetwater Music, I know for a fact that they provide more than an excellent service to their customers, and the company with it's dedicated employees really stand behind the fine products that they sell!

Sweetwater Sound provides American customer service the way it is SUPPOSED to be! I recently made two separate purchases -- small accessory items in each order -- and within a few days of each purchase I received a PHONE CALL thanking me for my purchase and asking me to contact them (and that customer service staffer directly) if I had any issues. That's just way over the top, not to mention the small pack of assorted candy they included with the shipments. I guess they are trying to cheer us up after almost a year of pandemic frustrations, and the candy certainly brought a smile. Now: will they do this consistently -- i. E. include surprise treats? Don't know; but one thing that has been consistent over the years is their high quality products, tech'-educational help, and customer service. I have also dealt with other large music / sound vendors (zZ...; GtrC; MusF... etc.), and while their initial prices might be a little less, after actual shipping charges AND customer service -- there is no comparison. Sweetwater gets my vote, and my business.
