I am still waiting for my payment for the items that Swap.com sold to other customers on their website. It has been over 6 months of waiting and there is always some story as to why I have not received the money. Also, if you are not on top of this, they are not going to follow up with you. They do not send consignment checks. They (supposedly) deposit the money into your PayPal account. As I said, I am still waiting, despite numerous emails to a "Kelly" in Customer Service. I think Swap.com is basically a veiled scam. Better to consign your items locally. Much less of a hassle, you will make more money doing it locally, and you will actually receive a physical check. Honestly, I feel like I threw away some beautiful clothing of my daughter's. So sad. Do not use this website to consign!
I will order from Swap.com always now! I'm on a limited budget and this requires me to spend only a few dollars here and there. The items I ordered were shipped fast and very clean as if I bought them that day! I highly recommend Swap.com! And will continue to save a lot of money through them! Always love everything bought from Swap. Always great prices and customer service. Can't believe how many guilt-free things I have bought from them, while paying off my debt from much more costly shopping elsewhere. Wish I had known about this site sooner.
I have purchased many things from swap and you sorta never know what you are gonna get. Sometimes items are very nice other times they are horrible. I have found that too many times the picture as well as description does not accurately describe the item. Now as for selling. I sent a box in long ago, honestly I forgot all about it until I started receiving emails a couple weeks ago stating that I sold an item. Many of the items I sent in were new, forever 21 as well as 21 Men, of great quality and not cheap clothing. As of thos week they have sold probably 10 of my items for prices ranging from 5 to 13 dollars per item. I received a payout of 6.98. That is really ridiculous. You are better off selling on ebay or I would have even preferred to give the clothing away free on offerup for prices like that. I'm pretty much done with swap altogether.
I discovered Swap.com while looking for affordable maternity clothes and I am very pleased with my shopping experience. The clothes are reasonably priced and in very good condition and if you're not happy, they have a no hassle return policy. What more could you ask for?
My wife loves this site. We were faced with having to travel about 80 miles to the nearest large city to find some items she needed. Instead we browsed through Swap.Com website and found everything we were looking for at great prices.

I have been shopping with Swap for years now. I have always liked nice things and have paid full retail prices until I discovered Swap.com. I am in awe of the quantity of merchandise I buy for what I usually pay for 1 piece. I have received a lot of garments that were new for nearly nothing. I have saved more than 90% over retail prices for the most part. I thought I would never buy secondhand merchandise, but almost everything I have purchased had been new or nearly new. Their Customer Service, return policy and packaging, is top notch! I can't say enough. They are my Go To Business for life!
I absolutely love Swap.com. I've only made purchases so my review is based on that. I find it to be much better than any other online consignment shop. Their prices are usually very, very reasonable and they offer free shipping. Their customer service is excellent! I had a small problem with the sizing of a baby outfit that I purchased and they took care of it immediately. The shipping is fast and comes nicely packaged.
I used to make a decent amount of money on swap.com when I could set my own prices. I recommended it to many friends. However, since they've changed their pricing model, I now make less than 50 cents on average per piece of clothing. It's honestly not worth it. I'd rather give the clothing away. Looking for a new place to sell.
Swap.com has both new and slightly used items and they are very fair priced and very accurate in their descriptions. I have ordered from them multiple times and intend to continue -- it is always great to find deals! They also have a great referral system you refer a friend, the friend makes a purchase and you get $20.00 site credit -- you cannot beat that, no other thrift store can compare!
I'm very sceptical when it comes to ordering things on line. But I have honestly found a good place to do some shopping, Swap.com
At first I just ordered two items... they were received promptly in excellent condition and exactly what I ordered.

I have ordered off swap about 5 times, and I've never had to return a thing! The prices are great! They clearly tell you what condition the items are in and that's exactly what you receive. I've gotten great deals on clothes for myself and my daughter. Not to mention the toys, for a quarter of retail price, I've found some toys that appear brand new out of the box! This is truly a great site. The only thing I wish would change is the descriptions, I wish they were a little more in depth and maybe some more pics. Even with those two things lacking some, I've never been disappointed with an order.
I've ordered previously and was pleased with the purchase but the delivery was slow. This time I paid extra for priority shipping because I needed the item quicker. I am now getting a notification my package will not be delivered until next week which is 11 days from the point of purchase. Hardly priority delivery service in my opinion.

I made an order from this website earlier this year and it went pretty good. This is an online "thrift store". I made 2 more orders a couple of months ago and got a confirmation and than nothing! I have e mailed them several times and left several messages and get a standard automatic response. The reply states they have a high number of tickets and will respond to me in 24 hours. I have heard nothing! This is a scam site. They take your money and you don't get what you order. Two of the products I ordered are still listed for sale!
I just found this site a couple of weeks ago. I have already placed TWO large orders. Everything I received was very nice and in excellent condition. I can't believe the designer clothes that I can find at a fraction of the price. Free shipping on returns is also a big plus for me. I don't usually buy used clothing but this site has changed that forever! Five stars for this site!

I love this site. I have bought tons of designer clothing for my grand kids here. Quality designer clothing at Walmart prices! I am on a fixed income and I can still buy from SWAP.COM affordable and what a great place for mommy's to help one another dress their kids smart! I have purchased over 50+ items here, with only a few problems (womens coat ID'd as a mans and a couple of bizarre size issues, all of which were resolved). Definitely recommend this as a place to buy things.
I can't say that about the other side of it. I only sent in one box and after four months got a 91% reject rate, with issues like "Stained" - on items that were never worn.
