It has happened 3 times now. My computer screen will lock up and a number from Microsoft will come up and tell me that I have damaging virus on my computer and if it doesn't come off, it will hurt Microsoft and my computer. They won't let you click out of it either. I finally unplugged my computer. The first time I was scared out of my wits so I called the number and ended up being charged a large number of money. When I realized what had happened, I called and told them that I knew it was a scam and I wanted my money back, After a long period of arguing, they finally agreed to give back my money. It is so annoying when they keep locking up my computer. It seems to authentic that it could fool even the most savvy. Run fast.
There was a message on my comp that said warning your computer is infected call this number or your computer normally be shut down. So I call and I give the guy some information and he gets into my computer and he delete some stuff turns my screen black and then try to tell me that I have to pay either one year for $300 or three years for $600. So then he says yeah we can resolve this problem but I have to turn you over to my level 5 technician but it's going to cost you. So I say you $#*! you get into my computer you turn the screen black and since I didn't buy your $300 service fee then tells me I have to pay the technician $300 to fix my computer. It's a big scam. Now my computer has a black screen I can't even use it. It did work it was just a little bit slow and now it's ruined
I found SupportBuddy Inc. to be one of the best point-of-contacts for obtaining technical services, especially related to Mac computers. Previously, I took help for my HP laptop, and yesterday for my MacBook Pro and they are working absolutely fine now. Thanks!
Recently, I accidentally spilled water over the keyboard of my laptop. The keyboard immediately stopped working and panic-stricken, I called up a friend to seek help. He told me of Support Buddy and the excellent inspection and repair service they provide for liquid spillage. SupportBuddys reliable diagnosis and repair services fixed all the glitches and i am really thankful to them for providing a new lease of life to my laptop.
I subscribed to Support Buddy in April 2016, and paid $600.00 for support. In October 2016 I was hacked twice and asked for an additional $300.00 by wire transfer, not by credit card to fix my computer. I realized that something was wrong, and cancelled my account. I have been waiting for a promised wire transfer since October 2016. These people are crooks, have committed corporate fraud, extorsion, and cyber crime.
Do not under any circumstances use this organization, they will not even respond
To your e-mails or phone calls, I have contacted the FBI Fraud Division regarding this issue. They need to be charged and put out of business.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCIES, DO NOT USE SUPPORT BUDDY!
I received a phone call this evening. The Indians said they were from SupportBuddy. They mentioned they had received $299.99 from me a few years back. Because they were moving from the United States to Europe, they were required to reimburse me for the $299.99 I gave them a few years ago. I kept questioning them. They went into their bogus bank account... a Chase.com one and showed me a bogus name on account with so much money in it. They asked me repeatedly if I had a Paypal account. I said that I did. They wanted me to accept a payback of $1,000, but I must promise to only keep $300 and sent them $700 back. I said that didn't sound right. They had been questioned by me over and over and over again. Once I questioned their $1000 payback where I would have to reimburse them $700... they got the idea and hung up. I hope when they had access to my computer and darkened my screen that they did not put a virus on my computer or steal any of my information. I do know they had some really crazy ideas and the way they handled things was bizarre. They most definitely were not legitimate. Beware... they are persistent. I think God that I had many red flags and questioned them so much. Sure, I would love to have $299.99 reimbursed to my account but I did not want to lose more than that from some other account. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Gotcha!
This business is a total scam. They use pop up ads to convince people their PC is infected and that they were notified as part of a partnership with Microsoft. Check with the FTC or Microsoft and you will see these tactics are a scam. I just shut down my computer, ran a scan and there are not issues other than the pop up these people use to try and get your money. Report them to the AG, FTC and BBB.
I called the number to find out the name of the scammer, *******305, and it was support buddy. The BBB report on them indicates one of their marketers was using the tactic to drive business. They said they stopped the practice, but clearly it still continues. This business needs to be shut down.
Frankly speaking, SupportBuddy is best technical support services provider. I called SupportBuddy for the slow processing and bug problem that I encountered when I was working on my Asus laptop. Thanks to techies of the SupportBuddy who helped me in getting the issues resolved in a fraction of the time. If you too are facing any such issues, immediately call Asus Computer Support Number to get your problem sorted.
While installation of the drivers in by HP laptop, I encountered a problem. I gave a call to SupportBuddy techies on their toll-free number. I told them the issues and by talking the remote access of my system, the technical experts installed the drivers. Thanks, SupportBuddy techies for fixing my issues.
They keep harassing me now. After falling for their backwards business plan once, they won't stop phoning and e-mailing me. I've requested them to stop, and now they're phoning me even more, even after I block the numbers one by one
After spending hours on the phone with them and they said they were giving me a refund but in fact they actually stole money from me. I have informed the police about what they did. I will spread the word about what a lying scamming con artists they are. As soon as I demanded my money back they cancelled their phone number.
While I was using my Mac computer, I encountered a problem, my screen was frozen. It happened all of a sudden, so I got worried and called SupportBuddy experts. They took the remote access of my PC and got things working again. Thanks SupportBuddy for your support.

My mom allowed them access to her computer, they immediately hacked her bank account and transferred $50K from her savings to her checking all while remotely working on her computer so she was told not to access the internet (to see what was going on with her bank.) Then they told her they were refunding her money as the company was going out of business but accidentally transferred her $50k instead of $200. Then begged her to go to the bank and wire the money back to them so they poor $#*! wouldnt get fired. She did all the while not realizing that the money was hers from her savings account which was only randomly there because she had recently sold a house and the proceeds had not yet been invested.
This company is MAJOR LEVEL FRAUD and Identity theft. FBI level.
DO NOT GIVE THEM ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER OR YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. I guarantee that any good reviews are fake.
I do not know what actually the problem was in my HP printer as I didnt want to waste time doing so, but opted for going back to my work directly. I just want to pay regards to the executive of SupportBuddy as he helped such an insane person like me in doing away with the problem in a hassle free manner.
It was an astounding experience for me when I availed tech support services of SupportBuddy. I called them when I came across technical issues on my Mac PC. The techies took the remote control of my PC and diagnosed the issue, eventually fixing it in the fraction of seconds. SupportBuddy Techies-you are outstanding
My father-in-law got a pop-up on his windows machine that locked his machine up and asked him to call the supportbuddy.net 800 number and they spent several hours with him, remotely accessed his computer and charged him $750. This site is a technical support scam site do not use it. I had him cancel his credit cards and change his on-line passwords. If you have malware on your computer best to download malwarebytes and scan the computer. Ideally you want to build a bootable DVD/USB image and scan the windows/mac partition while it is inactive to detect and remove any latent malware. Perform multiple scans to ensure all of the malware is removed.
They lock you out of your computer and then place their number there so that you have to call them. I was told that I had 12,000 issues and needed to pay 179.99 to protect my computer and rid it of all the viruses. I KNEW this was crap and I told them this. I told them to UNLOCK my computer and they said that they would do it for 179.99. There has to be someway to stop these people.
The antivirus support that I took from SupportBuddy yesterday left me awed. In fact, I was mesmerized by the patience with which its technicians dealt with in getting the Kaspersky antivirus installed.
All that I had to do to get help from the SupportBuddy techies for my Toshiba PC was a phone call at its help desk number. And the support was indeed fabulous without me having to wait in the queue to get connected with the technicians.
