They do not refund even if you didn't use their service for an unintended renewed subscription. They do not send renewal subscription reminders either. Not worth it.

A friend told me about this site like 3 years ago, when I lost my job as a teacher in 2021 I applied to work as a tutor at Studypool. First, it was kind of hard trying to have good success, once I learned how to work with students online, I really improved my earning, to the point that it's my main source of income and the best of all is that you just need to invest your knowledge, time and effort, nothing else!

I totally recommend this place to earn online.

I had a lot of difficulty finding good information for my university projects and some of my classmates told me about this site, so I decided to start using it and the site really have a lot of content available and not just about one subject... Now every time I have to do research work I don't hesitate to look for the information on this site. I found really good content about health related topics!

Be very careful. This product is generally auto renewed. I contacted support within hours of a debit for another year of service, because I have been out of work for surgery, am not in school, and canceled my subscription on day 1 of 365. They ssid they cannot make a refund. Reprehensible. Morally repugnant. $85 more important than someone in need.

My account was banned for two days and I couldn't access their customer service. Finally found an email to email them. I decided I was going to dispute the charge on my credit card since my account was banned without explanation. Got an email a day after saying I was banned for life now. Reached out to customer service again and they said "Your IP being banned was the escalated issue to be reviewed and resolved." However they never told me this or anything until after the fact. They told me because I disputed the charge I'm banned for life. I told them if they would have sent an email explaining this I probably wouldn't have disputed the charge. The customer service only became helpful when I contacted them first and kept asking the same question of why I was banned. They kept saying it was due to the dispute even though it happened before that. I kept asking and they gave me the answer finally.
Be careful when signing up for a subscription.

I'm studying to be a doctor, I'm on my 1st year. One thing I love to do is to take notes and draw a lot the human body parts, cells structure and nervous system. I did't thought it was so easy to sell something that I would't thought I will get money from. I saw a video on TikTok selling notes and I gave it a try and I just made a sale of that note, I'm amaze how you can make money online now days. I hope I can sell more :D

First of all they will tell you to login to get free access to files you genuinely need, don't ever login directly my friend. Then they ask for money to get access, wtf StudyPool. This site literally should have named as MoneyPool. If everything needs cost eventually, don't favour them with FREE initially. Idk what do makers think about themself? F**

I'm a teacher by trade, so the opportunity to work with Studypool seemed like a natural fit. After spending hours answering their knowledge questions, I got this message: "Your application looks strong but we cannot accept you due to an excess in new tutors." My question is, why are they wasting people's time? Why allow anyone to submit an application at all if you know you have too many tutors? Unless of course, there is another reason. It also seems fishy to me that the positive reviews on this site have been flagged as paid. I would stay away.

Please do not believe the fake positive reviews on the internet unless you want to waste your money. The tutors at Studypool are horrible and don't ever answer the questions correctly! It is a good concept, but it just doesn't work. Buyer beware!

I applied to be a tutor here. I teach math and physics for several years. The application process was long and I spent more than 3 hours to provide sample lecture and answer math questions. They rejected my application without any explanation. I asked for the reason and they only said the decision is final, no change.
In the meantime, they ask for much sensitive information during the process like a copy of your Driving License. Which they do not really need for assessing the technical knowledge of applicants.
It does not sound legitimate to me at all.
MANY RED FLAGS.

What's great about Studypool is that academic tutors are guided throughout the process with their great tutor support. Plus, the work hours are flexible so you can provide tutoring during your free time. As for the cons, the students seeking help at Studypool can be unpredictable with some of them requesting unjust refunds.

With Studypool, I am able to work and earn money from home during this pandemic. As a medical student, finances can be tight but Studypool is giving me the opportunity to earn money while pursuing my passion of offering academic help to students in need.

Studypool is a racist company based on how it treats its tutors. Tutors from certain countries are charged higher commissions and cannot access high-paying tasks. The rating is not based on merit rather than one's country of origin. Modern racism at its best.

In the first look at their website, they describe becoming a tutor as simple as possible, and by going through the application for hours, finally, you'll get rejected and maybe by a robot. They didn't provide any explanations, and even worse, they don't have enough guide to new tutors out there. (My question is, why are you considering new tutors, and you know the system will reject them?)
Also, by looking and searching genuinely, I found that they have fake reviews (paid reviews) that don't reflect the reality.

With this pandemic going on, it has been very challenging to find a regular job. I tried working on other online platforms, but the pay was very low. I've been a tutor in Studypool for 5 months now, and this has been my primary source of income. The first few weeks had been quite difficult since I was still establishing my reputation as a tutor. But with hard work, I was able to help more students in no time. I love that I can work comfortably at home and that I have complete control of my time. I can also choose which questions to bid on. Moreover, their support team is very responsive and is available 24/7, so you can always send them a message whenever you have questions.

I have successfully completed all the task but in the end they rejected my application by saying
"Your application looks strong but we cannot accept you due to an excess in new tutors."
Like these guys don't have common sense? If you don't have vacancy then why are wasting our precious time and shake our confidence.
Worst Tutoring Side.
Don't waste your time guys!

They make you write 3 papers just to tell you your application is rejected because of to many hired tutors already. Then they keep your work and use it.
If you are not hiring, don't put people through the entire application process, its common sense.

I worked as a tutor with Studypool and the experience was great at first but it quickly declined because for them the customer is always right. Some students will get a refund even they are in the wrong. That is however not my biggest problem since most students are easy to work with. My problem with them is that they have hired more tutors than there is work. My account was temporarily put on hold because apparently, they don't have enough clients. Why would they hire tutors if there are no jobs?

StudyPool is the best. I can attest that no such other site feels like home as being with StudyPool either as a Tutor or a Students. Talk of Excellent Tutors, Excellent workflow, Reasonable budget for students placing orders, quick turnaround for assigned projects, prompt responses from competent moderators, and above all, no delays in payments. The culture is awesome, it's only at StudyPool you get to have a one-on-one with students. Study pool is simply the best site.
