Tutoring at StudyPool is a completely legit scam free way to make money online. Personally this is one of my favorite online tutoring sites that I've reviewed. I really like that there's so much protection on getting paid and that payments are easy.
The cut that StudyPool takes isn't too bad, but it could be lower. If you're a good tutor StudyPool does give you the tools to be successful, build repeat customers, and make some decent money tutoring in your free time. I have to say that I recommend StudyPool if you're a tutor.
I'm a retired teacher and I missed my students. After retiring, I started looking for online options and came across Studypool. At first I didn't understand, but by contacting customer support they were able to guide me through. They told me I could select my time and pricing. I was excited to start again by doing what I love the most. Months later, I now have regular students that seek my help.
I made a purchase from their note bank and one thing to stand out is I received the document immediately after making the payment. Although the doc I got did not contain all the information needed, it was somewhat helpful. Points in favor for efficiency. Points against for effectiveness.
I will give a brief review, have not been into this for long.
For the few days I have tutored here, it is rewarding. There is a constant flow of work, and these guys keep their word. I have managed to withdraw earnings without a problem. One more thing I like is their openness. Unlike some tutor sites, Studypool tutor does not conceal the student budget; you know what the student is offering, and what you get as a tutor is calculated as a percentage. For new applicants, just put your best foot forward. The application process is, however, rigorous but not difficult for serious applicants. I have seen my former college mate fail the test. If you are planning to join Studypool, prepare adequately. You will like it when you start earning.
Cons?. Yet to encounter any.
I have used Studypool for quite a while and my experience working with its tutors has been excellent. Whenever I hit a roadblock on my virtual classes, I have the option to access their note bank which has lots of easy to understand study materials or their tutors who are always at the disposal to provide clear explanations. Strongly recommend it!
Studypool has helped me through my toughest courses but you should be careful to choose a good tutor, some of them are not very attentive to detail but overall Im happy with the results I've gotten from most of the tutors that have helped me.
We want to use Studypool for our 10 year old daughter. I sent our requests to about 10 different tutors and only got back 3 replies. So there are many tutors on this site that are either inactive or don't have the courtesy to reply back to you. So, my daughter had a lesson with two different tutors and, unfortunately, they were not very good. Would not recommend.
What an unfortunate event, only thing is that we do not "sent requests" to our tutors. All tutors that (actually) send bids on your questions are active. And you can only reach them when you have assigned a tutor. So maybe you have the wrong product with this review.
I found out Studypool while looking ways to earn money online and I'm glad I tried Studypool. I've been earning really easy money there on my free time since I'm really good with math and I now have a strong network on students. Things get a bit slow during the summer break but it makes sense as it is the time of the year the school season ends.
I had a bad experience with a different website, this is why I changed to this one. As a student who SHOULD work along with their tutor, you must check your paperwork is 100% original. I know you are paying an expert to help you with your homework, but you should check the final result before paying. Avoid the risk of getting suspended from school. It's like checking your receipt after buying a hamburger at McDonald's.
So far, the 3 times I requested help here, my questions were answered fast and the tutor meet the requirements and most important: on time.
I work as a Studypool tutor for a long time, and it was always a great experience. The platform is constantly updating which ensures that it runs smoothly from all type of platforms. Nevertheless, it is very use friendly meaning that anyone can easily find their way around In the scenario in which they are not able to do so, the moderator team will be more than happy to provide support.
Overall, it is a great experience to work on Studypool and a great source of income.
I was stuck in some math studies of algebra and wasn't able to find any help for a fair price. Studypool helped me on that, and the tutor was really fast and precise! Everything I needed.
I have been using study pool for about 4 months now. The tutors are great and they really help me with my writing work. I haven't been a great writer for the majority of my life but I'm glad to say I've significantly felt more confidence writing in these past 4 months. Thank you.
I like that you get to work with your own schedule at Studypool. The tutoring system and policies are also geared to ensure high output and quality are complemented with high earnings. Very prompt and fantastic support team too.
The best online tutoring website. It is easy to use and payments are generous. There are frequent assignments that require bidding and automatic recommendations been made by studypool if the tutor seems suitable for the student.
Thank you! Thanks for your feedback!
I really liked the tutoring experience over Studypool. There are a lot of jobs were engaged students need help with explanations, improving their skills on certain subjects, and you are also given the opportunity to provide feedback on how other tutors help their students.
I see a lot of people complaining about the support and applications being rejected. Sometimes they just reject applications without reason. I applied some time last year (2020) and my application got rejected due to "Poor quality submissions." Funny thing, I applied again using the same content that was considered poor quality and was accepted. Now I don't care, I just submit work and earn the money as long as students accept it. That's the way it is with most of the tutors. The system itself does not care as long as they have their commission. Anyways, if you want the tricks to get accepted you can reach out and I can help you. Once you are in, you have to get at least 50 orders completed before you can begin submitting anything for money, and I will show you how. I work with other sites too and I can't do that because they are very legit and they care about their tutors unlike this $#*!ty studypool.
One of my tutors help me to write a cover letter I needed for resume exercise. You think that could be an easy thing to do until you actually start writing and you are blocked because you don't know what to say, she did a good job and I had a good grade.
I try to be fair with the payment even if it's an "easy" task.
I requested Studypool to proofread my 12 page essay, I set the time limit for 15 hours and was very impressed to have received my work back proofread and improved in 10 hours. Don't know if this is standard practice for them but I have to say they captured me as a client, until I'm let down. Hopefully I won't be and they'll always be this efficient.
Ask for help there at you own risk. You may pay for a paper but fail to get it within the deadline because studypool banned the tutor from the platform sometimes for no reason. Their bans are random and they give vague reasons like "you can be banned for the following reasons" but not "you were banned due to this or that"
I have worked at Studypool as a tutor for the last one and a half years, and it has been a wonderful experience. They have a user-friendly interface that also allows one direct contact with the students. Their dispute resolution process is fair. Decisions taken by moderators on students requests for refund are based on question requirements and the quality of work delivered by the tutors. It is also good to see happy students come back for assistance. There is room for tutors who promise to provide quality work.
StudyPool has a rating of 2.8 stars from 364 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with StudyPool most frequently mention new tutors and poor quality. StudyPool ranks 445th among Tutor sites.
That's always good! And yes, you need to be very specific on the help you need.
