It is a good price with a clear information presentation. However, the ticket booking process is somewhat cumbersome. I constantly having trouble when paying for the ticket.
I needed to adjust my flight, since plans changed. And it was easy to call and get my flight adjusted. They were very informative and clear on all additional price changes and double checked with me before proceeding with any changes.
I had a bad experience in my last intercontinental flight with the airline. They help me in the process to present a claim with the airlines and find the better solution. On the other hand, they offer really good option for the student that really don´t know exactly dates of return with one-way flights (in no low cost airlines). Thanks.
I was able to book flights with StudentUniverse for my summer program in Beijing, however when I booked my tickets the confirmation number did not go through on the Airline's website until 2 business days later, which was a little stressful.
This was my first time booking an online ticket and I was afraid initially to go with StudentUniverse. However, they were great and their service was excellent as well as I had to contact them via email and chat for a couple of times.
Price was good, plus enabled me to pack Swiss flights that are not sold as a package on Swiss website.
The interface is a bit confusing when using the flexible dates.
Also it take a while for the airlines to recognize the booking
Quick and easy, but too many add on solicitations
It was quick to enroll and download the app (although not necessary to use the app). Once enrolled, the airline ticket options presented were very good ($500 cheaper than the airline's site). After booking, quick confirmation, including airline reservation codes, sent in an email.
Called to confirm booking prior to flight. They had somehow changed the departure City? They could not honour my original booking ( I had paper copy evidence) and had me flying out 5 days later. They were 'sorry for the inconvenience' and told me they could credit my flight cost - after arguing with them about this - I have been "promised" a refund, but it will take up to 10 days. They said if I don't receive it I have to call back and follow up.
No explanation given as to why an error of this magnitude occured, or why I was not notified by email or text.
I would advise any traveller to ABSOLUTELY NOT EVER deal with Student Universe. Save yourself the stress by booking directly with an airline. Absolutely terrible and never ever again would I use them, nor recommend them.
It's my first time with SU and it's great. I had many questions and the staff who took care of customer service answered everything very thoughtfully. It's easy to pay too. Then I got a flight with Qatar Airways with nice price and good service. Highly recommend.
It was very good! Just would of liked they explained the e-ticket process. But overall loved it!
The website is one of the worst I've ever experienced. Half of the time it doesn't load, and when it does, the fares fluctuate and it shows false information. Customer service canceled our flight before we were able to book a new one (which turned out to be no longer available), leaving us with no flight. Our customer service agent did his best but it seems the lack of correct information on the website is just that bad.
Edit: Ended up booking a new flight through them afterwards. Hopefully, there will be no issues this time. Still hard to beat how low the fares are. You get what you pay for, I suppose.

I had an issue with my bank such that the payment would not go through but Student Universe were very supportive and the issue was resolved in a couple of hours and the booking was completed immediately.
I'm an international student and I'm flying to the US for education purposes. I booked a flight to Dallas on the 6th of January. I paid 715 dollars and booked on October 1st. Today, some one posted on the FB group that British airways are not allowing non-us and non-uk passports to land in UK (Heathrow). I mean this is a shame! The Student Universe did not even bother to inform via mail... I had to get through the customer care and they blatantly say we will refund you 328 dollars! I would like to bring to your notice that I'm a student on scholarship and 715 dollars is two months of my living expense which I have shelled out on this ticket! This flight money is taken out of my loan amount. This is appalling that I have to beg for my money for a flight I cannot even take. Please just refund my money or make provisions to transfer me to another flight! Don't drain your company name in the mud!

It was very easy to use, web or app, it is better if you sign up, the flight confirmation took about 15 minutes because the airline was asking for my passport info which I sent it to student universe quick, then I got my confirmation a few minutes later and saved 70% of my flight from the airline website and travel companies. Thank you!
This a great platform for students that are traveling. The cost becomes less and you can travel at you pace. I liked the verification process, it was thighed but necessary to ensure my own online safety. However, I have troubles connecting to the app that keeping throwing the error message no account related to the given email. It is really annoying.
It was very straight forward and manageable. Using the StudentUniverse app made my life a whole lot easier!

I booked a flight with student universe 2 days ago. I just received an email about the cancellation of my flight because the card info did not match, even though i use the same info on all other site checkouts. They said they will refund me in 10 days time, but after reading the reviews, im afraid i wont receive the refunds. Do i rebook a ticket with them or will this just be a waste of more money? I am confused about the situation. Did anyone have similar experience?
