This is the worst experience I've ever had on a plane and with an airline. My flight has gotten pushed back about 5 times now. I was supposed to land at 1:35 now i'm not supposed to land until 7:30. This is the most unorganized horrible airline in the world. I will never fly with this again.
Overall experience is good, but there were some latency in delivering e- tickets. Normally, We got tickets right away in next 10-15 minutes once we receive the order confirmation email. But with them, it seems to be taking for long hours, which worries the customer, because they are not sure if they need to rebook it or not.
But in general, the service was nice.thank you!
My flight was cancelled only a few days after I booked and they failed to notify me. I only found out by chance months later from the airline. They failed to find me a suitable alternative flight and they failed to get me a refund. Because of the months it took me to find out my flight was cancelled I had to book a $1000 last minute ticket on what should have been a $400 dollar flight. If I hadn't found out by chance I'm convinced they would have let me show up at the airport for an imaginary flight and miss my mothers funeral. So now I'm out $1400 dollars all because of these horrible scammers and they haven't even bothered to apologise. They should be shut down.

I booked two international flights and received no email confirmation, nothing at all! Nobody asked for my passport number. A full day went by without a word! I had to go back to the site I booked on to find the name of Student Universe and find a phone number for them just to have a guy in the Philippines tell me at first that I have no tickets but., oh, wait! Yes you do. I downloaded their app to my phone and yet it says I have no trips. I can't get my tickets to put in my wallet. So finally he sends me the tickets as a pdf! Seriously? Is that going to work at the airport?!? And then I get an email asking me for passport information. Not sketchy at all
Hi Judy, passport info is not required when you book flights in the US. A name and a DOB is sufficient to make a reservation. Some airlines may require passport info but we will contact the customer for such info. It usually takes 24 hours for the airline to process the booking, but sometimes it may take more. Our customer service could assist you to look up your booking and by now you have received the confirmation email with valid reservation code.
Hi, When I booked my ticket I had a rebate discount and a promo code discount. The invoice says the discount was applied, but my credit card statement does not reflect that. I called customer service and she assured me it was refunded back to me on their end, and for me to wait 2 days. Still hasn't come.

The procedure of reservation was easy and clear.
However, payment with my Master Card Gold could not be performed without further questions, which, especially, had a time limit on SUNDAY! I gave the answer just a minute before having to leave the Internet for an important meeting.
Maybe this procedure is important, but I was still astonished!

I had a lot of trouble with scheduling my flight due to student universe not providing accurate and up to date information about the flight prices and schedules which made it feel difficult to feel satisfied with my purchase of a ticket. While customer service was quick to respond to my troubles, the constant selling of different packages not pertinent to my travels and the preying on the lack of knowledge of travel just to get these packages was really not helpful when trying to manage my flight. I would have preferred a more direct way of helping where the assistant simply answered my questions rather than answering around them or trying to charge me for services I did not ask for.
I had made a booking through student universe for international travel.
I came to know about transit visa requirements at the last moment,
When I reached out to StudentUniverse they told me this is not possible, that is not possible.
Since the ticket was booked with StudentUniverse, the airline couldn't help me with rescheduling.
So, overall, it seems like, if I were to book tickets using Airline website, it would have been so much easier to reschedule tickets or to change routes.
StudentUniverse has been of no help, I had to book new tickets at last moment and had to pay to insane ticket fare.
While my ticket was a great price and the website had lots of flight options, I didn't like how quickly I had to enter my payment information. Unknowingly, I took longer than allowed, and, as a result, when I clicked "book now/purchase," the website kicked me out of my cart and invalidated my first time user $20 discount code.
Been using student universe for 4 years now, going between the UK and US for college (with other trips to the west coast and Australia for study). Never been let down, super easy to use, and affordable flights. I've always been given a lot of choices for my flight at different prices, so although I've had long layovers at times it's worth it for the savings. Absolute life saver for my uni experience!

Took a long time to receive my ticket purchase confirmation email. Then received another email saying the booking was confirmed; it was only reserved at first.
Answered my questions on time and replied back the same day or the next day.
I love used SU for a few years now. While I believe things could be better (more promos for national flights) I believe they go a good job. I recommend at least trying the service if you have specific dates.
After hearing about this site, I was hesitant but I'm glad I use it because it's saved me so much money! I've only had one time I had trouble but customer service got it sorted right away with no trouble.

Our trip to Europe couldn't happen because of coronavirus... we didn't have insurance but when I called StudentUniverse to find out what can be done, they took care of everything right away. They were very nice and we got our money back in no time. We were going to fly with Lufthansa Airlines.

My overall experience with StudentUniverse was exceptional. From the moment I landed on their website, I was impressed by the user-friendly interface and the wide range of travel options tailored specifically for students. The booking process was seamless, and I appreciated the additional discounts and exclusive deals that were offered to students like me.
Student Universe did not advocate for me in terms of ticket refunds and despite the $75 travel insurance I bought on my ticket they were essentially useless. I do not recommend using this service and will use any other travel service in the future. The workers at the help desk are rude and disrespectful.

I had a poor experience with student universe, customer service in particular. Jim Field was the travel agent I was dealing with. He replied quickly to my concerns, which I appreciated, but he also lied to me about a flight and knew it. I then expressed my disappointment and he then did nothing to fix it. Will not be booking with them again.
