I was shopping around for best flight deals and I found this site in the internet. It was the lowest price but then I found out that the seats selection and baggage need to be paid for after you booked with them. So I ended up paying paying more than I expected. I didn't want to cancel after I paid due to all the hassles. Be careful about student universe site. Make sure you understand all the details of the purchase before finalizing it.
My flight was cancelled and they didn't take any responsibility to help me to get the money back. For 2 month they keep telling me that they are waiting for the airline's answer.
If your sure you just need a flight, this is a cheap option. If you care about other things like service, I do not suggest this company.

Everything came.out ok getting my tickets
Just didn't like the fact that after dont agree to the last part of the contract it doesn't allow u to change it but instead it charge u wo no going back like ok damn 150 more for my tickets that didn't have me so happy after all but I didn't have no other choice I hope everything goes well in the flight thankz

I stumbled upon this website looking for flights from London to the US. The prices were extremely reasonable; so reasonable in fact that it made me skeptical truly. However, I took a leap of faith and booked. Once I booked I read further and found a disclaimer that stated confirmations can take up to a few days. My trip was coming up very quickly, and I immediately feared that I had made the wrong decision. I contacted the 800 number and was promptly connected to a representative who resolved my issue within 5 mins. He verified my booking and was able to process the confirmation immediately. The pricing, customer support and easy to navigate website along with very clear easy-to-read receipts and itinerary will certainly bring me back as a repeat customer. I am very happy with this company!

I use studentuniverse every time I fly anywhere. I consistently have to fly across the country to travel from home to college, and sometimes have a complicated flight route if I want to visit my girlfriend first. I always check multiple websites, but I consistently find the cheapest flights on here. I really appreciate the ease and the consistency with which they best cover the scope of all possible flights using all airlines. They find better flights than their competitors every time, which is why I always recommend them.
My experience was "painless", the site is easy to navigate - entered my request, clicked tracking, then submit. I was able to monitor the flights that I wanted, also checked airlines websites for other schedules. Once I've made my choice, it was just a matter of clicking buttons, simple and organized from start to finish. And the price was competitive.
More expensive than origin company. They take an extra substantial fee. Charged in USD despite using a NZ website booking a NZ flight, so cost me a lot in currency conversion fee. Got charged to cancel within 24 hrs. I wish i had not made this mistake.

Student Universe offer an appallingly low level of service! Absolutely atrocious approach to travel refunds! The airline company cancelled my flight from Perth to Kalgoorlie in Western Australia on the 29th September 2022. The airline company approved a full refund the same day and made notes on their system for the Travel Agency to see and verify the full refund. After 4 frustrating calls on a weekly basis they still continue to withhold the full refund. Very lame excuses and no action. I will never use this Agency again and i strongly advise all other people to never use Student Universe again! This is a real blight on one of Flight Centre's subsidiaries. If i could give a minus rating i definitely would.

My daughter had booked a trip to Europe for the summer. Due to a medical condition that needed surgery in the middle of her trip, she flew out to do her semester abroad, but needed to return early. The airlines AND travel insurance would not refund her return ticket OR allow us to change her return flight. Charles fought for us 100% and to my surprise, a month later, a found a credit for her return flight from British Air. Thank you Charles! During a very difficult time for my family, Student Universe was compassionate and efficient.

I thought that SU would be able to provide student pricing much lower or even slightly lower than booking through a normal website or directly from the Airlines. It is not the case. The prices are the same.
Also, once ticket is paid is not possible to do any modifications to the reservation unless we contact you by email or phone.
I was so lucky to come across this amazing deal, however, it would have been easier to navigate had I attempted to buy the tickets earlier in the morning. My first transaction was only $25 but never fully processed due to high website traffic. When I tried again, the total cost ended up being $45, which was still a great deal considering the flight that I wanted was originally $300. I am so grateful to have come across this amazing deal in time for the holidays.
It was straightforward. Only one thing. The first time I tried booking, there was a random 30 dollar increase in price which I could not account for anywhere so I refreshed and rebooked and then it was fine.

Hi Donna, we display baggage info at the flight search result page and you can click the fare type to view it before you add the flight to cart. We follow the airlines' policy in terms of baggage allowance. Seat selection is not mandatory and you can always skip it before you finalize the payment.
