It was terrible to use the sight, the ability to look at different flights simultaneously is non-existent, and navigating the site is atrocious. I use this service to find cheap flights, so where are the cheaper flights? I paid the equivalent of what I would have had I just booked through another service. I remain loyal in hopes of future discounts. When checking out, there is a large fee that is just described as other, and it is in a list of other fees, the hope of fut not even a quarter of the amount individually. I would like more transparency about what this fee is for...feels scammy :/

You guys saved me from spending $1,200 on last minute flight for the basic /lite seating. Really, what a lifesaver app for students who are trying to get by. It was so simple to use your app (and airlines apps are notoriously unreliable), and amazed at how I received my flight number almost instantly. I would be having a much more dreadful week if not for your services. Thank you!

I came to this website through Kayak.com, and I must say price was great but there were several issues like when I placed the order for flight tickets, I thought the order went through but my credit card did not get charged, and I did not get confirmation number and E-tickets. I called the credit card company they had no history, called the StudentUniverse phone number nobody picks up ever, emailed them reply after 3 days, and no solution to my problem. After 5 days of placing the order I got my confirmation for my order, and also the most important factor is the price was also different they gave me a certain price but charged my credit card $20 extra, which I don't understand. Whole experience was really bad.

Love to see the offer. I was able to book the tickets very cheap and would see my family this December, all thanks to your 25$ tickets. Would love to see this more often in coming years

I bought a round-trip flight ticket from Chicago to Ho Chi Minh City with the first trip starting at 9pm 12/14. I then received an update that it's changed to 6am the same day, which was fine.

However, the problem is American Airlines, partnered with Japan Airlines, still issued me a ticket for 6pm 12/14,8 hours after my flight to Japan was supposed to be. Both StudentUniverse and Japan Airlines said nothing about this, and I was too busy with school to keep track of my ticket.

I was stranded at LAX for almost 2 days, calling 5+ times to StudentUniverse without a single reply. I had to spend an extra $1000 to buy a new ticket home.

From 12/14/2024 to 1/1/2025, I made 10+ phone calls in total with StudentUniverse asking them to solve this issue and compensate me, yet they kept me waiting for two weeks just to tell me JAL said it is my fault for being no-show. What's worse, a staff of SU had the audacity to ask me why I didn't report immediately and waited two weeks, when he had no idea I have been fighting the entire time. He even questioned why I request compensation when it's my fault for not showing up.

The damage on my mental and physical wellbeing, as well as time and money, is irreversible, and yet SU customer service questioned me instead of negotiating a solution. I'm a college student and $1500 for flight ticket is my entire saving from summer internship. They think they can just bully poor students and blame it on us, but I'm so ready to take legal actions because this is so unethical.
