For my very first international experience, Student Universe made my travel planning easy because at first I didn't know how to book a flight because I had never flown before, but after having the best travel and study abroad experience in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I'd definitely book another flight using Student Universe. I was so grateful to have gotten a birthday discount on the purchase of my flight the day I booked it, which was on my birthday.
I had booked a Basic Economy flight on American Airlines a few days before the Coronavirus pandemic struck the US. A couple of days before flying, things got very chaotic and flight policies were changing by the day. I tried to contact American Airlines directly but they were completely unreachable. I then tried to contact StudentUniverse and although I wasn't able to reach them by phone, I left a message on Facebook Messenger that I wanted to cancel the flight.
Eventually, 5 days *after* the day of my flight (by which point I had almost given up hopes of receiving even a partial refund), Studentuniverse contacted me on Facebook to let me know that I have a travel credit for the entire amount available with them (that I can book any time before Dec 31 2020). I am really impressed with the dedication of the Studentuniverse team since they have been able to resolve customers' problems even during these difficult times!
The tickets were at a decent price. My issue was the website as the site had small tendencies of crashing. Which would have made purchasing tickets a little difficult.
Very bad I didn't have my ticket and it's bad you guys need to men up frm this why Simone will spend their time and effort at the end they get up with mess

I tried to book with a group of 3 but it led to bookings not being confirmed. I had to book 10 min later. The customer help associate was not very helpful.
The process of picking a flight was fairly simple. The only thing I needed to check up on was my seat selection for my flights and I had to go to a different site for that.
Booked a flight for my grandson to study abroad I accidentally booked October instead of December they charge $275 to Change the flight and international charge of $150 and when I wanted to cancel it they said it was non-refundable worst company ever stay away you end up paying double what you would do the airlines this company needs to be investigated!
Hi there! Sorry you feel this way! Unfortunately, most of our flights are non-refundable and subject to chance and cancellation fees. This is standard across the travel industry. Stupid System, Stupid Customer Care People and stupid company. Don't know the value of a customer. They rob customers money for the mistakes which the company makes. When I post this review Someone from the company will respond saying they are sorry but who needs your sorry. Will your sorry give my money back. If I get a chance to close this business I would. Got into depression and now STUDENTUNIVERSE HAVE SHATTERED MY VACATION.

The flight ticket money was deducted more than the actual amount stated in the flight receipt. I have sent mail to make complaint but am yet to get a feed back.

I totally recommend student universe as I got the best Deal in comparison to other portal. Though it's always better to check exact luggage details with the airline directly to avoid any confusion.
Going to study abroad next semester. Heard about this as a way to travel cheaply and am very glad we could get such a good deal. I really look forward to studying abroad!

They cancelled my Alaskan airlines and put me on American airlines and had to pay for a checked bag... When I got that written Alaskan ticket... It was just so a mess up
