I would not even known that it was called "Stack Social.com" had I not called my credit card company. They are listed as "Shop On Market". After watching the Wendy Williams Show, I went to the Wendy Williams show online and clicked on the link for these items featured on her show on December 19,2016. I am soooo glad I found this website that reviews other's experience. Wish I'd seen it before I purchased. All of the complaints that I am reading seems to be what I am experiencing (minus the quality... I have not received the items yet).
I wish I knew the company had multiple names so that I could have found this review site earlier. I agree. There isn't a number to call them. Fortunately, My credit card company found a number for them but Unfortunately, the number only gives you directions on how to email them at Stacksocial. All the emails both from their sites and to stacksocial all responded with auto replies. No real person or real solution. With my experience thus far and the quality of the products mentioned in these complaints that I have read... I am very concerned and nervous.
I think Wendy should cut ties with them if they aren't willing to be a creditable merchant with GOOD customer service with TRUE quality items. (This should NOT BE A BUYER BEWARE situation). I will post an update... if I receive these items and they are subpar or if I NEVER receive them at all, like some of the complaints that I have read.
I bought a course from them that turned out to be nothing but rubbish jargon with a whole section that seemed to be an add for some dodgy institute. Product was absolute rubbishI could have found better quality info on YouTube. Do NOT give them your money, you won't get it back.
Not happy. No communication and waiting over month. Already beyond promise date. Say no refunds but no equity. Want account credited.
Took a few days to get back to me, but was courteous and quick to solve my problem once I got a response
It is a little tricky to access the courses, but simple once you learn how to access. Platform is better than udemy, courses are great so far. No glitches at all. Just a quick check to see if they are lifetime. So far, all of the courses have been lifetime. I think they fixed the issue and now all of the courses are lifetime.
I bought a drone from them, my mistake was not watching the video. However I thought it must be great if on black Friday the unit sold for one third it's normal price.
In my opinion the drone I paid for was cheesy, battery doesn't hold charge, and basically if working would be a child's drone toy, worth about $20.00 anywhere else. Now selling as 79.99 when according to them is normally 60% off of 237.00. Check it out just copy link and paste in your browser- https://stacksocial.com/sales/limited-edition-code-black-hd-camera-drone-w-crash-pack See pictures on site jabber.
The reason there are no course reviews on their site is most of them would have 1 star. They are out dated and designed for another site. They mention links, downloads and forums in the videos; none exist on stackskills.
First experience - waiting already 4 week's for the gadget. Communications is realy bad -no answer. Order Status not functionning. Customer Service only a robot? Is my money gone?
Thumbs down!
I've been buying design bundles through them over the years. Granted, a good chunk are low quality items, but some products within the bundles are stellar (which makes it worth the price).
The last bundle I bought (Oct. 31), however, came with dead links for an important portion of the product/assets of the bundle. Naturally, I open a ticket, explained the situation and provided screenshots.
Their customer service has been... lacking. I got a reply within three days after my ticket that provided no solution. I explained the browser wasn't a problem (I tried ALL of them) and provided more screenshots as evidence.
I didn't get a reply or solution for weeks (4). I kept asking for updates through the thread, but the "support hero's" been MIA. I opened another ticket hoping I would get another "support hero" to help me out (a more efficient one, at least). I understand they don't do refunds, but then they should make certain ALL their links are working properly before selling.
This may be the last time I purchase anything from them.
*Update 30th November 2016*
Apparently, opening a second ticket was a good call because I finally got an answer (ironically, it came from the same "hero"). Despite explaining I wanted to get working links for what I've paid for, their solution was to offer store credit instead.
Granted, it's not ideal, but getting something is better than nothing at this point. I agreed to a refund in the form of store credit... hopefully, I'll find something to use it for.
Still, I'm very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this web page to anyone.
I read that they do not offer refunds, and the reasons why. However, I am too deaf to understand the audio communication of their software course presentation. I can learn new things only by reading and doing. Therefore I consider their offerings misleading in not having specified their audio format.
To give context to the situation, I ordered a product online while it was on sale. After 6 weeks, I still hadn't recieved it, and upon using the tracking number, I discovered that it was marked as delivered. After filing a report with the postal service for a very possible theft of package, I sent a message to the customer support section inquiring about a replacement. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much seeing as how items on sale are clearly marked "No refunds". A few days later I got a response from one of the agents (Barb. She's probably the best.) and after a few email exchanges I have been refunded with credit from the parent site. I could not be happier all things considered. Stellar service, quick responses for being online, and a fantastic ending. 5/5 doesn't seem high enough.
It's one amazing tool to have, easy to clean and sure is a good conversation piece. I must say everyone I know wants one of these and I am purchasing one as a stocking stiffer. Thank-you for your time. M. M.
On 10th of October, 2016 I purchased two bundles from Popular Science webpage in their online shop. Everything went fine until today, 21.10.2016 when suddenly my purchases disappeared and the courses were not accessible to me anymore! I got no response from neither StackSkills, nor Popular Science! Stay away from them, although Popular Science has a reputation, it is not a place to buy from! Now all I am left with is a $100 less in my bank account and no help from either of the sides. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
This is a worthwhile support service that goes hand in hand with a satisfying experience with the Mac
They wrongfully advertise their product. I bought Unlimited VPN based on their commercial. I can't even get on their server and the speed is extremely low compared to their commercial. I email the support team 6 times and haven't even receive a response. They totally ignored their customers. Once you bought something from them, don't expect a refund even though it's a scam.
I tried to buy a product from New Atlas (nee' Gizmag). Stackcommerce rejected three credit cards. I verified that they hadn't even submitted the charge with the banks & credit card companies and submitted a question about it. They never returned my call but sent e-mail thanking me for my inquiry.
I replied with a request that they call me or send a telephone number I could call. The did neither.
I will write to New Atlas and suggest that they find another vendor to handle transactions.
Hi Charles, so sorry you had this experience. I just responded to your support ticket. At this time we do not have the ability to assist you over the telephone, not to worry we can get your issue resolved quickly via email. Unfortunately, cards can be declined for many reasons, so without further investigation, I can not tell you exactly why your transaction we denied. I'd love to help out in any way that I can and assure you we can get this sorted out ASAP. We are very sorry you had this experience. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Don't hesitate to reach out, I'm here to help:-)
I signed up for stack social a few days ago after a friend sent me a coupon for 65% off a coding bundle. I'm so happy I was able to get it- I can now dedicate time to this bundle of diversified knowledge.
While purchasing I made the mistake of not putting in a discount code- the very helpful and responsive support team sent me another code for 20% of any future purchases.
I highly recommend the folk over at Stacksocial/Stackskills...

I have bought 3 items from this outfit and I can certify that these are inferior quality items. You can do better, even with price, at your local Best Buy or Target. I recently bought 2 Dash Cams. They are made from cheap plastic, almost toy like, and once turned on, they both constantly freeze with no way to turn off until the battery runs out. Instructions are almost non existent since they are written in broken English, and not possible to follow as they refer to buttons that do not exist - maybe translated from Chinese using Google Translator! Wasted $50 and they are only fit for the trash. Previous purchased an iPhone holder for the car, and ended up tossing it. Also, beware of shipping times - often items take 3-4 weeks as they ship from Asia regular mail.
Answer: It took a long time and the intervention of PayPal, but I got a refund--finally--for an item that was never delivered (because it was never sent.) The range of scores for this business makes me wonder why some people get good service and others are ignored--even defrauded.
Answer: They don't want to interact with anyone. You'll get these ridiculous emails from their "Support Heroes" team. They are all cut and paste nonsense, and they deny any responsibility for their vendors. I was only able to get action by working with my credit card company to reverse the charges because of the scam they pulled (item they advertised was not what they actually sold). As a precaution, I also advised my credit card company to automatically deny charges from them. My advice is to NEVER risk buying from them. It's like your mama always told you: "If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't."
Answer: Hi Humberto, We would love to help you on this. Please contact us at https://support.stackcommerce.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Answer: I responded to an ad. Very stupid of me, and i will never do that again!
Answer: They have no customer service, just form letters. No matter how often you email them, you will get no response that makes sense. They have no way of contacting them except emails.
Answer: Clearly playing numbers game. Probably making their own positive reviews. No one stopping them. Internet scammers.
