My wife and I bought a wedding dress from Stacees in early June (but didn't receive it for 2 weeks, which was fine). My wife tried the dress on the day we received it but it didn't look like the photos at all. In their terms of service, it states that if we are not satisfied with the product we can return it for a full refund. However, it is now August 1 and we're still getting the run-around and not able to return the product. I've written the customer service dept at least 8-10x but they don't want to honor their own ToS. We will never use this company again. Its business practices are deceptive and fraudulent.

Stacees refuses to keep their no worries return policy. I needed to return one of their regular size selected prom dresses because it was too tight on my daughter and STACEES refused to allow the return. They suggested that I try to sell the dress instead of returning it. They offered to pay me $50.00 for a $200.00 dress instead of allowing me to return the dress. Even after we came to an agreement in the PayPal dispute, they still refused to adhere to that agreement.

Zero stars but it made me click one. Their return policy is a farce. I received the wrong color. They refuse to take the dress back and offered me $20 for a $200 dress! Many emails later their final offer was $90 siting their expenses, fee and taxes associated with a return. If you order and are not satisfied you are in for a headache!

Please please do not order from this website. They state on their website full refunds are given if you want to return the dress. But this is a lie. They have done nothing but stress me out whilst on maternity earning hardly any money. I want to return what I brought as it doesn't fit at all ans not the correct colour and we have now changed our minds on our colour theme all together. They are refusing to let me return dress and saying I have to just try and sale the dress myself. The dress cost £108 and then they offered me £20 refund. I want a full refund not £20 I am on maternity and £108 is a lot of money. I will continue to write these reviews and comment on everything you post untill I receive a full refund.
Your saying it's because of PayPal. But paypal advised me not to delete dispute and you need to refund full amount through PayPal so stop telling me to cancel dispute through PayPal.

This dress is amazing. I had been looking on this website trying to find my dream dress that would make me feel special and i had my eye on 2 dresses both quite similar. I am so glad I had picked the one that i did because it is stunning. I had wore it yesterday and the dress had been stepped on so many times by many people and it hasn't ripped and still looks brand new. The material is so nice and it flows which makes it even better since you can take amazing pics in it. I got so many compliments on the dress and how amazing it is and that it suit me so well. This dress made me feel like a princess on so many different levels. I had heard that people didn't have good experiences ordering from here but i loved the dress so much i risked ordering it and I do not regret it one single bit. I am a bit disappointed that I thought the sequins would look more shiny as they do in the pic but overall my experience with the dress is positive. Amazing dress!

I had the best experience ever! My dress arrived 2 weeks before my senior prom. I can't forget the day my dress arrived I was so frantic to try it on and was amazed at the results. Ordered a dress with my exact measurements which did NOT fit me and I proved it didn't with images. Tags were still on the dress and it was fine. They basically said if I return it that it might get lost and I won't get a refund. They first offered to give me £10 back and make another dress for me for £50 but I refused and said I wanted a refund and to return the dress. Then they offered to give me £20 back and male another dress for me for £45 and I refused because I did NOT want another one from them. All I want is my money back because I paid alot for a bit of net curtain that doesn't even fit me and I'm not happy at all. Disgusting customer service. Awful company. Do NOT but anything from here EVER.

This company is horrible. Never received the dress I ordered for my daughters prom. The package was sent back due to an address era. The company received the dress back and I said I returned the dress! Needless to say my daughter missed her prom because of an address era that was no fault of my own. I told them what happened and asked for a refund. They keep giving me the runaround. Offering me a new dress but I have to pay the shipping. I have repeatedly said I do not want another dress so they finally offered me $60 on a dress I paid $230 for plus insurance in case anything happens to the dress. I asked for a full refund they are tell me all I can get is $60 on a dress I never even laid eyes on. This company is ridiculous and does bed business. Please shop at a local store if you can. These online businesses are horrible and take your money no matter what their policies state. Be safe and order from well known respected businesses.

Even though their website says they accept returns if items are unwashed, in original state, with all tags on they WILL NOT return anything. They give the run around and offer 1/2 of your money back and tell you to sell it locally. The material is cheap and dull and they use so much fabric that the dresses are heavy enough to try and fall off. AVOID AVOID

Ordered dress for grandson's wedding. After waiting for weeks for it to arrive, it was a huge disappointment. In addition to being stiff and uncomfortable, the fabric had absolutely no flexibility to even allow me to sit or bend down. The built in bra was hard and stiff, not supporting me at all. They offered me $20 to hire someone locally to fix it which would not come close to paying a seamstress to try to make the dress work.
They refused to accept a return or refund my money. Which was $200. Do not buy from this company!

Had a great experience. Ordering was simple, took the measurements and sent them in. Dress came quickly and fit beautifully. Prices were very reasonable; much cheaper than buying a dress off rack and getting it altered! I would highly recommend Stacees!

Don't buy from this company. I have been trying to get a rebound for two months and they are still refusing. They also told me that they don't resale standard size dresses and they disregard them, which is so bad for the environment. Please see email below. Please allow me to explain. For standard size, we could return, but "Full Refund" applies to damaged, defective, or wrongfully shipped items. We have checked the quality inspection and noticed that we made the dress according to your order strictly. All of our dresses are handmade after they are ordered, and we have always used high quality fabrics. We also spend a lot of time and money on the dress. We are not like the big stores where can re-sell returned dresses, the dress will be destroyed if it is returned. I hope you could understand.
Considering your bad emotion because of the dress, we re-applied our manager to refund you £45 as compensation. Or we could re-make a new dress for you for free, and you could choose other style and color. Would you like to accept?

I also want to address the fact that you mentioned not reselling standard dresses of a standard size being a resource issue. As a qualified sustainability practitioner, I must convey that I do not find this statement sustainable as you would be charged for all waste produced by your organisation under the (Solid Waste Law) under your pollutant discharge permit. This leads me to assume that you are attempting to make me feel guilty for your own financial benefit. Please note that if my money is not refunded, I will have to take appropriate legal action.

Upon opening, glitter on the fabric was glued on and shed everywhere. The measure from shoulder to waist was too short (standard size.) Tried to return, and they do not honor their return policy. Shameful organization. Do not order from here. If you do and you get a poor quality dress, you will NOT be able to return it.

I bought my dress for prom here. At first, I was very nervous to buy from this site because there were quite a few reviews calling the dresses horrible or too small or just calling it a scam.
I'd recommend buying your dress at LEAST a month before the event because it takes a long time to get to you. I'd also recommend adding extra length to your (floor-length) dress just in case.
Everything worked out just fine for me. As long as you measure correctly, the dress should fit you perfectly. I had no complaints about my dress, it was great quality.
DO NOT ORDER from this company. They do not stand by their product. Their sizes are not consistent with other dresses and the material is so heavy that you will sweat. They absolutely will not let you return any dress you order no matter what. The customer service is a joke. Worst company ever!
