While I was at work I recieved an email notification about an order I did not place in a town I do not live. They took my money via my gift card on file in app. I called the store and they had the food waiting and nobody picked it up. They told me to call the number in the app to get a refund. Wow! Those people just kept giving me the run around telling me I had to call my bank to dispute. I again explained it was a gift card, why would I call my bank. He told me there was nothing he could do and to call the gift card number that of course was closed. Do not expect help if you get ripped off. They are useless and do not care. Hope it feels good for this company to rip people off. May seem petty, but I live paycheck to paycheck to support my kids and this is a luxury to them. And now it's been taken from them.
I was driving and decided I wanted a limeade slush with 2 slices of lemon. When I placed my order via red button I was told each slice of lemon was $1.00, bring the total to $4.78. I took the lemon off and ordered a plain limeade slush. When my order came out I showed the young man on my phone that sonic does not charge for fruit in its slashes on the app. He argued price, then argued about that being corporate, not local, he had no control and this was their policy. If this store is not going to adhere to corporate policy, they need to remove themselves from the Sonic App.
And yes, they need to discuss the importance of at least listening, and not arguing.
Ordered online just to find out they were closed when I got there at 8:39 am. I was charged for an order that I did not receive. Attempted to call the restaurant for a refund about 10:30 and no one answered. Got a fax tone. Called customer service and was told it would be 7-10 days to process a refund. I said that was not acceptable because it didn't take them 7-10 days to take my money. I was placed on hold. After a 16 minute call the call was disconnected. I called back to speak to a manager but was not allowed to speak to one. I was told about their "policies" when I asked questions. They have a lot of them and none are to help the customer. A manager is supposed to return my call. Yeah, right? I will NEVER return to any Sonic!
Ordered BACON, burger on Texas toast. Only ask them to leave off the BBQ sauce. What I got was Texas toast, meat,cheese and onions. Also my drink tasted like colored water and my cup had a small hole in the bottom that leaked in my cup holder.
Notice the bacon? NONE!
The crispy chicken was definitely crispy overcook, the hamburger was so soaked with grease it was not even edible. The drinks were so full of ice there was hardly any liquid. I waited so long at the Drive up window I turned my car off. This review is for the sonic north Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs. I will never visit another sonic again.
They served me RAW chicken. It's hard cold and has red meat in it. I started to return it because there was no sauce on it but i ate until the raw chicken part. DISGRACEFUL! They need to be on kitchen nightmares it's so bad.
I ordered the Sauced Jumbo Popcorn Chicken and when it got to me and I took the first bite it was cold, so o pushed the red button and told them and they brought me more but it was cold also. I thought your food was suppose to be greasy and hot it also had way too much sauce on them. Very unhappy with my food today,
My mom and I went to the new one on Quebec St in Colorado and they didn't serve us for 20 minutes! Others just kept on going through the drive thru, while we looked like idiots cause of how we went through the drive thru and waited for 10 minutes, then we went up to the Walk-Up ones to order and no body came to help us for 10 minutes! We had to wait 20 minutes for nothing! And there was 4 people in there, doing nothing! Others were coming through the drive thru and they let them take their orders, but not ours! Not coming there again!
Long line at McDonald so I tried Sonic. Large fries cost twice what McDonald charges. They were cold, and partially burnt.
Few customers were there but still had a wait. And their speaker wasn't working: they couldn't hear me. Girl had to come out to take my order.
Will not try them again!
Wife just went to sonic drive inn in west valley city and brought back 2 cheeseburgers with fries, this is the worst food I can remember getting in the last 65 years of my life. Were seriously wondering if this is even beef, has a very funny taste, I won't even give this to my dogs. Im seriously considering taking these hamburgers over to the board of health and have them tested. This is Ridiculous I was starving and this definatinly ruined my appetite. I really hope i'm not getting sick from this, I'm thinking maybe they are cooking rotten hamburger and selling it now. I would avoid this place at all costs
Sonic makes to worst chili dog. Hot dog falls thru the bum. You would think they could figure out you don't have to open up the bum all the way. Never again.
If i could leave zero stars i would. Three drinks ordered. Waited 40 minutes for these. Order when it eventually arrived was incorrect. Also over billed. I called the call centre and they offered me a coupon. When i received the email with the coupon, it was a discount on second item purchases. So in order to get the refund, i need to buy another item at full price and then the second item would be discounted. This is madness. I called back and explained i would never use sonic again and that i want my money back. They then offered me a 10 dollar gift card to use at Sonic. Why would i take this? I dont want to go back there. SONIC GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!
We ended up waiting for 25 minutes but no one ever came to our stall. We had to leave because the wait time was literally so long. Worst wait time ever. They literally need to re-hire workers and make the rules stricter.
I stopped going to Sonic all together, especially the one located in Raymond, MS. My decided he wanted a Oreo blast so against my better judgement, I went to the local Sonic. HUGE MISTAKE! We sat in the stall after several minutes after pushing the button and no one answered. So I ordered from the app. We waited several minutes longer and the young lady came with our order. She pushed the cups and spoons in my hand and then had an attitude when she walked off. I will milk the cow and make my own yogurt before I go back there! It's not even to the top of the cup. JUST HORRIBLE!
We've stopped several times while on the road in northern Arizona and have never been able to put thru an order. They're always "out" of whatever has a sale price. Out of cheeseburgers! Really? Not to mention how slow the service is just to find out they can't take your order. And only one outdoor restroom is not sufficient.
I went to sonic one night to get a single Burger with everything on it. And they left practically all the toppings off. And when I complained and gave them the Burger back they did not even come back to the car. I just left without even getting a burger although I paid for it. Haven't been back since until today and the burger was nothing like Sonic of 10 years ago.
I just went to the drive thru at the Sonic in Gray, Ga. When I got home, our onion rings were burnt. Not just burnt, but BLACK. Just the idea that someone would put these in my bag is nuts. My God! To say the least, we could only eat 2-3 from each bag (we got 2) What kind of service is this. Our meal was $15.00 and it should have been etable. We're very disappoinred in Sonic right now.
Went to Sonic in Streetboro OH for the first time last night. 4 of us ordered different varieties of Oreo milkshakes. We didn't know who's was who's and the girl came back out and she didn't know either. We asked her if she could make them again because we had someone with a peanut allergy and one of us got Reese with the Oreo. She said ok then went back into the store yelling are you f ing kidding me and slammed cups everywhere. I ended up going in to tell them we just wanted a refund and she told me I needed to get out or she was calling the cops. I told her we just wanted our money back. I walked out and we waited for them to come out with our money. They called the cops anyway but they were very nice and got our refund so we could leave. I will never return to a sonic again after this being my first experience. I guess it doesn't look as good as their commercials make them seem.
On 11.13.23 I place an order at the Frayser Raleigh location, paid for my food, only for them to tell me they were out of the pickle fries. I asked to be refunded. Was told my money would be back on my card the next day this time from the manager, I called the 866 # on the receipt because the employees were loud inside and you could hear the manager hollering telling them to be quiet and because they should have known before I paid that they were out of that item! I was also told a manager would call me! As of 11:17.23 I did not hear from a manager at that location; however, I called him myself today to speak with him! He told me it was my bank that has not given me my money back! I've never had an issue with my bank when it comes to refunds! He was very rude pass the phone off to another employee, so I asked to speak back to him, he rudely said you can come get your money and simply hung up on me.
The taste of the cheddar peppers have changed. Where before the peppers were mild and the cheese tasted much better, the new ones are too hot and the cheese is bland. This was my go to meal/snack and now it is not.
Answer: Imo, it has to be a front for something to still be in operation. Hopefully it's a front for something not as nefarious as serving people undesirable, inedible "food".
