I will never buy from Sonic again! $14.72 for a Med slush and Med cheese sticks that were cold. The prices on the menu were wrong or I would not have ordered anything. If you are going to gouge on prices at least update your pricing on the menu! Do better Sonic! If I could have left negative stars I would have!
I went to the Sonic on Broadway in Garland TX. The young man who took our order was very nice. How ever the girl. She had a lead shirt on. I believe her name was Angel brought our food. She had no smile and just gave us the food and walked off. My husband had her tip on his lap, but we withheld it. The young man should have been the lead and he deserved the tip.
Always a fan of Sonic, but last time I got the standard Sonic burger & the burger was completely burned, creating a tasteless mess. Gave them a chance to redeem & went again today, got a double burger with bacon. Sadly, the burgers were again burnt beyond recognition which created a dry, tasteless mess. Cross Sonic off my list, too many tasty choices to waste money on Sonic.
In a parking lot with only 3 cars ordering, I was made to wait extensive periods of time for the workers to respond and take my order. I was left sitting for 30 minutes before I decided to find better service. I believe sonic as a corporation needs to have More of a strict hiring policy, or at least workers that aren't negligent towards the job they have been paid to do. Thank you.
I went to sonic 10-29-2022 and I ordered a large chili cheese tot and about an hour later i was sick puking my guts up all night long while trying to take care of my 2 year old and 4 year old while I was sick as $#*!. I got food poisoning from them I do not reccomend going there! It's not worth it, they have always been $#*!ty butthis is over the top.
Waited 15 minutes at the drive thru for cold soggy food. The "large" chili cheese fries, besides the cold and soggy, was definitely not worth the amount charged. We live a block away so the state of the food wasn't due to a long drive.The employees were nice, tho.

Went to Sonic and seen the advertisement for Cherry limeade, looked really good.
So after ordering my granddaughter her food,
I decided to add a Cherry Limeade.
What I got was definitely not what was advertised,
No Cherry no limes. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
This $#*! really declined my friends birthday meal and she was rude about it and because they assumed that he was faking it. And we decided to get waters and then she refused and she hung up the intercom.
We stopped at our local Sonic for lunch. My husband ordered the Cookie dough bites. We received three bites each about an inch and a quarter in diameter, and a small container of some type of dipping sauce. We paid a total of $3.24 including tax, which made each of the small bites $1.00. Way overpriced and not very tasty.
Love ordering my drinks from sonic but completely tired of ordering extra fruit in my drinks then come to find out there's none in it at all if it happened once maybe twice ok mistakes happen but almost every single time my drinks end up not having it in there at all so I'm paying $. 30 to have the fruit in there then $. 30 to have extra so that $. 60 I'm paying for nothing completely ridiculous that I get charged for something I don't get
The customer service sucks I went and ordered today they didn't get my order right I sent it back it took him an hour to make a hamburger and and do it like it was supposed to have been done in the first place and then it took them another hour to bring me my change the service sucks the attitude suck everything sucks at Sonic y'all need to train your employees better or just don't even open up

I ordered 10 of the 1.99 double cheeseburgers. Was excited to get em cause I didn't have to cook dinner that night. Got em.home and took em out the bag, and to my surprise every single burger was smashed beyond recognition,and basically thrown in the bag. A few of the burgers were half wrapped. I.was highly disappointed. I spent over 20 dollars on burgers and they was unpleasantly smashed like seeing food in the garbage. I have no proof didn't think I needed proof
The moment I walk in he asked me if it was cash or credit and immediately followed up by I'm not suppose to be here I'm the only one here. The food was great but while I was eating he locked the door and started closing down shop. I think he took 2 other orders other than mine and called it quits. He left before I left the property.

Nd. It was our very first experience. It was terrible! Everything was cold and soggy! I have not one positive word to share about our experience. McDonald's has my vote! I don't care for McDonald's food but today it would have best Sonic's!
Don't order on the Sonic App. They will steal your money. If they do not have the item at the store they will not refund your money. Did not have most of my order (including burgers that I ordered). Store told me I'd have to call support. Called support. They offered a $10 gift card, which was less than the amount of food I did not receive. They said they could not issue a refund and had to escalate it to upper management. We will see if anyone reaches out. If not I will be disputing the charge with my credit card. They take your money but don't want to give you the food or your money back. DO NOT ORDER IN THE APP.
Update, after reading one of my reviews Sonic contacted me to call them again and now a refund was processed. Still a pain that it was such a hassle to get refunded for food I did not receive but at least I did get a refund.
We had been out all day to 9 football games and the kids wanted sonic after. Well we placed the order got home and missing a whole meal! The other meals seemed like they were made during breakfast and just slapped some cheese on it and warmed it up. Super sloppy mayo everywhere. Fries were soggy. Drive thru was busy so we thought we would have fresh food yet disappointed again. The time before they were out of CHEESE for the burgers and then out of FRIES! DO BETTER SONIC!

Sonic burgers and fries used to be very, very good. Now they are not. The burgers are dry and taste bad. The lettuce and tomatoes are wilted and taste bad. The mayo (now the default condiment) is bad.
What happened to Sonic's old way of making burgers? My friends, my family and I have decided to stop going to Sonic until these problems are addressed.

Answer: Imo, it has to be a front for something to still be in operation. Hopefully it's a front for something not as nefarious as serving people undesirable, inedible "food".
