DO NOT use this company. I tried to create a collage for my family. The collages did not open correctly on cell phones: pictures moved and the text moved out of the text box. Also, the message I added on the bottom did not get delivered. Additionally, they make you take a years subscription, before you realize what a lousy product it is.
Same experience as others here. Even worse, never got a response to emails requesting cancellation of recurring charges. Eventually had to change our credit card number to get away from them. What a pain. Total fraud.
Smilebox may seem like an attractive option to send elaborate cards to loved ones, particularly during a pandemic. However, their site is misleading, as they emphasize only their monthly rate, which makes it seem like you can pay for only a month to try it. I figured I would be able to confirm this during the purchasing process, but no. Instead of a final "here's what you're buying screen" to confirm, all-of-a-sudden they had charged my card for a full year. They refuse to refund money and take several days to respond to support inquiries. They simply offer extensions of their service to try to passify irate customers, which are next to worthless, since we don't want the service anyway. This is not a great company and will likely not be around long. Even if the service you get is OK - which I'm not certain that it is - you should know that you're paying for an entire year of a service you can't even test out. I would not recommend them at all.
They debited my account $190 for an annual fee, apparently in the fine print you have to notify them if you don't want them to do this. I contacted them and they said bad luck so angry. So every customer they would be doing this too. Imagine the revenue the are receiving by deception from unsuspecting customers. The product is not worth the money either
I can not believe this product doesn't offer phone or chat support. Also it is a pain that you can not start a project on one computer and finish it on another. What is the purpose of having an account if it can not do this. It cause me to have to recreate the same project multiple times when I had to change computers while out of town to create my dad's memorial video and as a result it was not done in time for the funeral.
Go Pro button is located in edit mode right next to save button. 1 accidental click will get you charged $139.99. They wont refund your money. They do not ask you to confirm. And the button sits like an editing button. Beware. 1 click. No refund, no confirmation of request.
For the price and frequency that I use this product I could just go get a card and mail it. If there was a way to create my own I would use this very very much more often. Seems like I could create most of these in power point... but I'm creative and smart that way. After a while all the greetings start looking a lot alike. One month, maybe. A year? No.
I have used smilebox and paid the premium for several years and recently realized on some of my older slideshows the music had been removed and a most annoying instrumental had been added. I asked them why and it took 2 days to respond that because they were older they didn't have access to the music! Now I'm wondering if I cancel if all of my creations will be gone and I don't have access anymore. 48.00 is pretty steep for so few options and then they take your music off. I'm so disappointed.
I totally love this website to make digital photo books, cute invitations and e-cards. Super easy to use on either a Mac or PC. I enjoy going back through my library of saved creations to enjoy the memories all over again!

There are no complicated steps to go through to make creations just a step by step simple interface. I give this 10 thumbs up!
Great value for the product with its variety of choices for every occasion. My needs are not complicated, mostly birthday greetings or Christmas. On my free trial, sent a simple birthday card so if it keeps me happy, will do basic subscribe but not to premium, as other comments noted. My UK friends have used this service for years that is why I'm trying!
Very cute, creative, and inexpensive invitations! Some even with music and animation! People loved the invitations I sent via smile box. Easy to keep track of guests as well. Will use again for other events!
I have been using SmileBox for many years now and they have only improved this fantastic photo and video sharing tool! It's also a great way to save pictures securely when you send them to your own email account. People always enjoy receiving my slide shows. Nothing touches the heart of people who have to be separated like a picture does!

Wonderful way to congratulate, show you care, no more worries about whether the card will reach destination in time; it would be a great asset with business contacts for invites etc., it is personalized with your own photo's, backgrounds supplied suit all occasions. All in all a very handy and reasonably priced tool.
Excellent features, but very pricey. Unfortunately, they only offer subscription rates, and no fee-per-item options. I only send invitations 1 or 2 per year, so a subscription (at these rates) make no sense. The free trial was fun, but not interested in signing up with this fee structure.
I think this is an easy way to quickly make a few simple invitations. Like others have said, don't like the idea that they say Free, but charge you to get on board, but you can cancel at anytime... We will see...
I love the idea of creating and printing my own invitations for just a small fee, and I can create and print the same day - great for last-minute needs. However, I've created two separate invitations to print myself, and both of them had the colors just a little "off." When you use more than one color, they don't exactly match up with each other on the design. I initially thought it was my printer, but the download, as well as the screen version, both had the colors not lining up correctly, and it didn't matter if you printed directly from the site or downloaded the JPG. It's not THAT noticeable, but a little extra attention to detail would be nice.
Answer: It sounds like the pixels don't support the size you are trying to view it in. Try shrinking the output and see if that helps. If all of your pictures are still blurry, make sure your software is up to date. Hope this helps and congrats on your wedding!
