Very fast and I got the tickets in the cheapest price
I booked two tickets for flights on smartfares the price of each ticket shown on the website was in Canadian dollars was 506 each. I should have been charged 1012 total for the tickets. I also paid extra 48.99 Canadian dollars for payment protection for cancellation within twenty four hours. My credit card was charged 1155 dollars. I immediately wrote them about overcharge. They deliberately replied after 24 hours so that I was not able to cancel the flights. I wrote them repeatedly but no response. They are scammers and price shown on the website is misleading and the customer service is also poor. I would never book with them. I felt cheated by smartfares and won't recommend anyone.

Ticket prices hiked and I had to pay much higher than other tickets available
I received confirmation and was charged for my ticket. The evening prior to my flight I attempted to check in but airline had no record of my ticket. I contacted smartfares and they told me I needed to pay triple the amount I had initially booked the ticket for as prices had gone up. I refused and they told me I could cancel for 80USD fee which I also refused. I was fortunate that I could still book the ticket through an alternate company at the same price and contested the charge with the merchant who processed the payment for me. The customer service was non existent and was identical to a scam provider where my refusal to pay more met an offer for a refund with fees, when I refused that I was offered to pay more for the ticket. We went around and around in circles until I concluded it was a scam and booked an alternate ticket and contested the charge.
Kind of frustrating at the beginning. All ended well.

The next day you will receive an email to call them immediately because they were unable to confirm your flight. When you call them back, they will try to sell you another flight at a much higher price. SCAM SCAM AVOID!
