I ordered my glasses thinking this was a uk company. It said same day dispatch but 8 days later I have still not received them. I have tracked my order and they are clearly coming from Hong kong. I would never have ordered glasses from a different country and feel like I have been conned.
Despite being called Smart Buy Glasses UK the Persol eyewear I had ordered was sent from China. Upon receiving the glasses and comparing them to my legit Persol eyewear it is blatantly obvious that the smartbuyglasses are a poor imitation. I am now waiting for a response from the company regarding the matter, very disappointing!

Some brands/models don't print where it's made on the product, it's totally subject to brand owner/manufacturer's decision.
If you are concerned and believe that the product is not genuine, you can compare it with the same model at any local optician or eyewear store and confirm the authenticity. If you are still not 100% satisfied, we offer 100 day returns.

Many reviews said its from hong kong and so it is doubtful but i got a genuine pair of glasses and very much satisfied.
Have ordered the sunglasses on last Thursday (7 May), but after purchase, note that need 5-11 for delivery, so I write email (on 8 May) to indicate that I want to cancel the order (totally 3 emails have been written), but up to 11 May, still none of the reply about the cancellation status. Suddenly, on 18:00 today, the system sent email to me that the order has been sent.
What I want to complaint is my opinions haven't been valued. I want to cancel the order but none of customer service inform me the status.
It is very bad experience i encountered.

This is the second time I have purchased from this site and I am very happy with the service and their system. The last purchase was fine but this time the product i bought looks darker than its picture on the website and the glasses are a little faulty (they are loose and a little stretched).
I have worn them twice now and find it a little inconvenient to post back as I live in Sri Lanka.
I leaned this website from my friend and she ordered two pairs of glasses from here. I'm happy with my new glasses. Only thing I think is not right is I was charged sales tax on my prescription glasses since it was shipped from Hong Kong,
I absolutely loved my Saint Laurent sunglasses I ordered from SmartBuyGlasses! They are definitely 100% authentic. I had ordered the same ones from Nordstrom just to see if they would be the same and they are! Everything down to the packaging and case they came in was the EXACT same. The website, however, does need some work. It's very slow and glitchy. I have tried to order from this site on multiple occasions and I get a message saying my order couldn't be placed. (It is not due to my cards) Their site loads slow as well. One of the times I tried to place an order it said it didn't go through but my card was charged. SmartBuyGlasses had no history of this order but they did what they could to credit my card for that same amount. Great customer service!
**Also wanted to add that my sunglasses arrived ONE DAY after being shipped!
For a company called smartglasses.ca, it's unfortunate that the product came from overseas and I was charged customs fees. If I knew that, I would never have purchased the product.

I bought Max & Co. 230-PJ2 frames from Smartbuyglasses.com earlier this year. (2015). I love the frames! I was surprized when I received the package to discover it was shipped from Hong Kong. The shipping was fast and the eyeglass frames were packaged really well, (no damages). The frames where a really great price and I am really happy with my purchase. I will definitely recommended smartbuyglasses.com to friends and order from them again in the future.

I love Maui Jim glasses and shopped retail stores looking. On a whim, I decided to look on line to see if I could possibly get the glasses I wanted for less. If you don't have any items under fast shipping, you pretty much stand a chance of facing delays and that seems to be a norm. I ordered a cancer council product on April 14th and within a day i was told to wait until May 1st to get the product stocked at warehouse. But on April 30th, I receive one more email indicating that it will be 10 more days before it is possibly stocked. I promptly asked for a refund and it was done in time. Hope they improve their logistics solution.

Eyes are precious and irreplaceable, so it is highly recommended to have an eye test at least every 2 years to be sure of your own prescription.
