I placed an order on 31.05.2015 now we are 3 weeks later and there is no sunglasses.The customer service is EXTREMELY bad and they don't take responsibility for their mistakes. I'm so sorry I decided to purchase my sunglasses for smart buy glasses. Do yourself a favor and don't trust this website! Pay a bit more and save yourself headache!

I have ordered for a glasses since on the 27th of may, and today is already 19th of june, no one contacts you to give you an update on whats happenning, and when i try they told me they waiting for the suppliers, why will u paste fast shipping on an item you dont have, i think is time people get the awareness that smartbuyglasses are not reliable. Most of the good comments dont seem to be real, i have contacted so many peopple friends who had same experience with them.

This is my second purchase, and will not be my last. My purchase was taking a little longer than expected, so I called. The agent that I spoke to suggested that I switch the sunglasses to a different pair, which I did, while she was in the line and she quick shipped and I had them in 2 days. I was very happy with my purchase. And of course the wonderful agent I worked with.
I never ordered sunglasses or any type of prescription glasses before so I was a little worried about the process. After doing some research on my head type and correct sizing I made a leap of faith and ordered a $300 pair of shades.
Anyways the glasses were shipped very quickly and were very well made.
I think you just can't just click a button and order, there needs to be some time to think it over and kind of pretend that your order will turn out good.
All in all I'll order again one of these days.

I found the Persol sunglasses I liked at Sunglass Hut but decided to wait. Decided to look online and found SmartBuyGlasses, which had the same exact pair/color/size for considerably less. I was so excited!
Unfortunately a lot of other people liked them too apparently, because at that time it was not one of their "in stock, ships right away" pairs. I ordered them anyway. They contacted me to let me know there would be a delay, and gave me 3 options: 1. To wait for what I ordered, 2. To select a different in-stock pair or 3. Receive a full refund. I opted to wait for that exact pair. It had to come from their Hong Kong distribution center, which then concerned me that the lower price was because they were not authentic Persol brand glasses. I was assured that they were definitely authentic--that Hong Kong was simply one of their several distribution points around the world, and if I didn't immediately notice their authenticity, I would see such if I took them to a local optician to compare. I found this to be true, once I finally received them: they got held up in U.S. customs unfortunately, then were held up a second time by the U.S. FDA because they had to evaluate the tiny bottle of lens cleaner that came with the sunglasses! GRR.
*** I am still giving SBG 5 stars, because it was out of their hands at that point. They gave me every opportunity to make an alternate order or elect a refund, and the whole customs/FDA debacle could not be avoided. I am about to order a second pair from them that IS an "in stock, ships right away" and hope to not have any of these issues because it is my understanding that it will ship from a U.S. distribution center. Fingers crossed!

I would give 5/5 if it was possible to try glasses before buying because it is a bit scary to not know exactly what it will look in your face. At least if we could upload our picture to have an idea would be better. What I did is I went at an optometrist to try some models and as my face is small there was not much choice and the one I picked was a little big. The only complaint I had was that my glasses sat at a Fed Ex facility for a couple weeks due to a customs regulation. Glasses are considered a medical device and had to go through quite the inspection. Although the glasses were shipped quickly, they didn't arrive for close to a month. I think customers need to know upfront where their glasses are being shipped from and how long to expect delivery. I am pleased with my glasses though.
Very fast shipping, good prices, they also took back a pair of sunglasses I didn't liked.

Eyes are precious and irreplaceable, so it is highly recommended to have an eye test at least every 2 years to be sure of your own prescription.
