Do NOT ever use!

Sky tours refused to help me at all when I was denied boarding for not having a pcr test. That was my fault, BUT if I'd been given proper help (Sky tours told me they couldn't help; I'd have to contact Turkish Air. The latter said the same b/c it wasn't their ticket), I could have simply flown that first leg of an 8 leg r/t ticket for $2300 on my own and salvaged the ticket. But they didn't tell me that until it was too late. I LOST EVEN THE RETURN TICKET 3 MONTHS FROM NOW! $2300 down the drain and I never flew even one leg of the ticket! BUY FROM THE AIRLINES AND SAVE MONEY!

Sky-Tours is not your ordinary travel agency. They truly represent the best interests of their passengers. Sky-Tours initially helped me reschedule flights to May 2020 when my original itinerary got canceled back in Sept 2019 (pre-COVID). In May 2020, my flights got canceled due to COVID and Sky-Tours stepped in and ensured that not only were my flights rebooked to a future date in 2021 but also demanded that the airline removed the fare difference they tried to upcharge me for. I can say with confidence that Sky-Tours is not your ordinary travel agency since you can feel that they care about their customers. Most travel agencies don't even give you an avenue to contact them during COVID times but with Sky-Tours, they do their best to make sure you are in good hands. Thanks Sky-Tours. Hang in there during these difficult times.

Take your money elsewhere. These people will lie to you and refuse to advocate on your behalf during a time of crisis. For obvious reasons, KLM cancelled my trip about a week prior to departure. After initially being denied a refund and requesting a travel voucher, I received an email from KLM stating that my ticket was eligible for a refund although a voucher had been issued. I reached out to Sky-Tours to initiate this request, to which they blatantly lie to me stating that KLM advised them that I must complete this process on my own through the link provided in their email (which of course I tried before I even emailed Sky-Tours, and the website stated to contact my travel agent.) I called KLM and spoke with a very helpful representative who reviewed my reservation and told me that not once did Sky-Tours ever reach out to KLM about anything, not the first time I request a refund or the second time after I was informed I was eligible. He even tried contacting Sky-Tours to review the process with them and smooth this all out, but of course no one answered the phone, which was my same experience when trying to call them several times. Thankfully I have a record of all correspondence for my bank to review while they dispute these charges for me. I will certainly not be using them to book my next trip.

Dear Melissa, As your flights is cancelled the airline refunds or issues a travel voucher. When we receive such notice from an airline we forward this to our clients. When we do not receive such notification Airline may have refunded you directly or send a travel voucher to your email. You have a transportation contract direct with the airline. We are only the booking tool - the ticket is issued in the name of the airline. They have received the money for your tickets not we, we act only as Agent. If you want us to assist you in this case we have a fee you have to pay to us for this assistance. You can process your refund direct with the airline or ask us ( against fee)for assistance. During Covid-19 our customer support is on it's limit and we can only answer through our support ticket system or email. Chat and phones we needed to disable to be able to assist our clients in order of their departure date.
We encounter at the moment an extreme difficult situation now and try our best to assist as good we can. But with reduced staff and increased need of support creates a problem. I can only apologize for that but unfortunately at the moment I see no light ind the end of this tunnel.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE

Booked my flight on January 10th and they asked me for $60 more on January 12th. They said: "fares are dynamic and keeps on changing from second to second so while you are making your reservation the fare has already been increased by the airline."
The airlines never changed the flight because I personally called them.
Today is January 13th and still waiting for my ticket. I'm flying in less than 30 hours.

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. NEVER USED THIS WEBSITE ANYMORE.
Also, it's Twitter account is private which means a lot and shows what they are doing.

I hope my experience helps to not use it.

Honestly, they do not even deserve a one star
Firstly they booked the flight giving the confirmation number on website, my husband booked my flight from Lahore to Montreal for March 19
After booking the flight we never received an email confirmation, as it was the last minute booking my husband tried to contact them to confirm whether I would be flying or not and just 5 hours before my flight they said sorry your booking was cancelled and money would be refunded. And till this day we have not received any refund whatsoever, it was $1200 CAD and it wasn't like we cancelled the flight.
They don't have any active phone number and the live chat no one replies
The only contact I was about to do was via emails on which they send pointless proves that money was refunded in which it wasn't as they bank never received any.
And now they have stopped replying to emails as well. So frustrating save your money, you might have to pay extra $$ but atleast you will be flying and your money won't go to total waste

Fraudulent Website

They are totally fraud. I will explain you how.
I booked a flight from Delhi to Sydney via Mumbai and Singapore. First flight was supposed to take off at 09.40 pm Indian time from Delhi to Mumbai with Vistara and then after a 2-hour layover it was supposed to take me from Mumbai to Singapore with the same airline. After a 10-hour layover at Singapore's Changi Airport, it was supposed to travel with Qantas Airline on 02 Dec at 08.30 pm local time of Singapore. On 29 Nov, Australian Government announced about delaying the international border opening until 15 Dec.
I contacted the website to reschedule my flights as it was not my fault. They did not reply me for 2 days (Today, I am writing this review on 1 Dec). I am very much upset. When we book a ticket through a third-party website, they are responsible to handle the issues if customers' concerns are genuine. Despite a genuine concern, they did not fulfil their responsibility. Neither they refund nor reschedule nor gave me any voucher. I have deduced a fact that they are totally a fraudulent website for which I am escalating this matter to the higher authority to close their portal permanently.
Do not trust this website. They neither respect their customers, nor their money or emotions.

Waste of time

Qatar Airways Flight selected to Prague, paid by Credit Card, received email "Thank you for your reservation. Your ticket number and confirmation will follow within 24 hours maximum but later received email "Thank you for using Skytours, for change of your reservation ODJO8M we require an additional payment for 795 AUD total ( 4x tickets). The fare you have chosen can no longer confirm by the airline. We can cancel the reservation and the pending payment will be credited back to your account." Wasted one day and I was falsely hoping to get ticket for that price from SkyTours. Thought they have refunded all funds within another 24 hours.
Call center experience was ok but will not consider using them again.
I ended up getting directly ticket from Qatar Airways and purchased it for cheaper price on that exact same flights?

Their explanation
Please note that the airline do give different seats allocations to different travel agencies worldwide so the fares may differ from one agency to another and from airline to agency since it depends on the airline seat allocations given to each and everyone. It may be on the same exact flights but the seat and booking classes availability and different.

As mentioned in a numerous amount of these reviews they confirmed my flight and I got my ticket numbers all of that. Then 3 months later (when most banks no longer let you file a dispute [90 days]) they email me saying part of my trip has been canceled and that I could rebook a different flight for a fee or cancel my trip. Mind you all of their emails are A) in broken English, and B) appear as if they are responding to a previous email that says they have confirmed your ticket (an email which you have never received).

I chose to cancel the trip because I still have time to rebook with someone else. They emailed me back saying that it will take up to a year, yes 12 billing cycles, for them to refund me and that I will be getting $200 less than what I paid! I tried to dispute the charges online with my bank, but saw that it was past the 90 day window (by 2 days). Luckily I was able to call my bank and they were able to work with me, this might not be the case with most banks.

I would recommend avoiding this company at all cost! My honest opinion is that they purposefully waited until I was out of the dispute window to inform me that the trip had been canceled and that it would take UP TO A YEAR to refund me. Plus they were not even going to give back all of what I paid! After reading all of these reviews and based on my own experience I think it would be safe to say this company is mostly a scam, booking only a handful of authentic tickets; only enough to keep a handful of reviews positive enough for people to fall for it and book with them.

AVOID AT ALL COST!

Sorry for the long post. This is probably my fault for letting this go for so long but I am hoping someone can give me advice on how to proceed from here. March 2021, I purchased a multi-city ticket from Skytours to travel on April 1,2021. The day before departure I went to check in and couldn't find my flight. I then called Unitedairlines, the airline I was going to leave with and was told that my flight had been cancelled and to contact the agency I had used to rebook.
I then contacted Skytours and asked why I hadn't received any notification about the cancellation and they told me it was my responsibility to check on flight status within 72hrs. They called Unitedairlines and I was offered a flight leaving April 5,2021 however I needed to be at my destination for April 2 so I declined and was told they would be issuing a refund. I had to book another ticket. Since then I have been following up with Sky Tours and being told that they have not received the refund from the airline.

How this scam of a company still exists is a mystery..

Cancelled flight

I just URGENTLY need a refund for the amount I paid!. I booked through Their website a ticket to Toronto for $1890 Canadian dollars. I received NO confirmation #! I received NO ticket or any proof of booking on my email, which was very odd to me cause when I used to book any flight online, which was mostly done through Expedia, I receive my ticket and confirmation number on the spot once the transaction is done! But in this case, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, only an order number on their page after they took the money. I got worried, especially that I'm traveling for a very urgent matter, so I called Swissair, the airline I was booked for to know that The flight was cancelled.! Just 1/2 an hour after the online booking was done! All this happened just 24 hours ago. The airline asked me for confirmation # or ticket to try sort out the problem, but I had NONE and they weren't able to help!
I need my money back to be able to book another flight! I hope sky-tours isn't A scam company and an ethical action will be made.

Buyer beware
November 20, 2018

I was booking a last-minute flight from the US to Africa and after comparing three booking sites, I found the best rate (by about $200) here. I booked, received confirmation, forwarded itinerary to the tour company, etc. The next day (about 18 hours later), I received an email from SkyTours that appeared, by the format, to be a followup reply to an earlier email - which I never received. The first email said that my flights could not be confirmed because the seats were sold out. I was offered alternative flights that reflected lengthier overall travel times and inconvenient arrival times, for $181 more than my original fare. The followup email, which was attached, said "Your ticket has been received. One of our agents will reply to you shortly." Having no idea what that meant or whether my flights were intact, I called SkyTours. Initially, I selected the "customer service" menu option and sat on hold for 4.5 minutes. I hung up, called again, and selected the "sales" menu option. I was helped immediately. However, the phone connection was terrible - full of static, like an old-time overseas call. Additionally, the agent had a strong accent and I could barely make out what was being said. I was finally able to decipher that my reservation was indeed NOT available because the flights had been sold out. In order to have my credit card refunded so I could move on, I was told I needed to reply to the email I'd received offering alternate flights, and to indicate I was not interested in that booking. I did that, booked elsewhere, and am now crossing my fingers that I won't have to fight to receive a refund of the original fare.

HIDDEN FEE SCAM
October 22, 2017

EDIT: I was refunded the "overseas fee" by Sky-Tours, after much debate. Thank you, Danish, for making this experience a little better.

First of all, Sky-Tours quoted me a fare more expensive than what Malaysia Air was (and still is) selling the exact same tickets for. I admit that I share the blame for this, and was billed AUD 672 (Malaysia Air is selling them for only SGD 680 even up till now).

I paid using a credit card, and found out that I was charged AUD 692.16, despite my invoice stating the original AUD 672 (over SGD 50 more expensive than Malaysia Air's fare due to the HIDDEN COST). I initiated a live chat with one of Sky-Tour's Live Chat agents, who merely told me to lodge a ticket in order to complain with Sky-Tours, then pushed all the blame onto my credit card provider (ANZ Bank) for charging an "overseas fee".

Why would I be charged an "overseas fee" of AUD 20.16 in the first place if I was quoted in AUD, and paid in AUD using an Australian credit card?

Perhaps posting a bad review here would finally trigger someone from Sky-Tours to look into the case.
