Skip clearly ignores customers. Had Cora breakfast which terrible + they forgot stuff. Skip demonstrated they could care less. The driver was perfectly fine, though.
I placed and order, was charged $22 for a salad. I had ordered two salads, but only one was delivered. When I complained, the representative I spoke to told me he was refunding the order and I can use the refund to reorder. THIS IS NOT A REFUND! IT IS STILL ME PAYING FOR THE ITEM! A proper refund would be the company refunding the missing item, then skip ordering the missing item at their cost. I should NOT have to use my refund to reorder. That is not a refund. As someone who has worked in customer service most of my life as well as taken a customer service training course. This is NOT good service. It is a money hungry company making you think they are helping but really they are just worried about the money coming in, and not about their service to their customers. I order from skip lots, I will no longer order through them. I have deleted my app and will either drive myself to order, or order through another company.
It's completely skip the dishes fault that, once I received the food that has cockroach in it so Skip the dishes refunded and some times the box was leaking and some times they delivered late or cancelled my order due to those reasons. Also we prefer food delivery when we are hungry or tired of work or at late nights or parties.Every time I showed the proof to support team whatever happened and they will respond as we cant credit the refund as we already refunded for previous orders this response is so bad.
This incident I ordered 3 items and I got 2 only out of it one food container is damaged and the delivery person dropped at other door so how come its my fault and I mentioned them I want to re delivery the food that is missing but the customer support said we cant redeliver and we cant refund.
I showed the proof that I didn't received my order and skip the dishes deducted my amount how come it will be fair decision.
So unsatisfied service from skip the dishes just pull the customers money.
No customer service or delivery of what is said, no delivery of what area to deliver to, no response from customer service, never ever going to use them again, just a scam, I work hard for my money and they just use an app to scam, my food was left outside for a dog to get into in the wrong location and they did nothing to help OMG
My order ******* placed with Baigs Grill Mississauga was not delivered on 12 January 2024, the customer service did not respond to update me and they did not refund the money paid nor did they have courtesy to show some customer service.
Today my order to Hakka Legend restaurant got cancelled 3 times because the restaurant does not have the food every time I place the order!, What management does Skip the Dishes do in these matters where the customer has to pay from their credit card and the money now sits in the credit of their app and all their vendors do not have food available that you order! I am extremely disappointed!
I ordered at 525pm, at 622pm, the driver was just on the way to the restaurant. Will NEVER EVER order again through SkipTheDishes. And skip the dishes charges almost 15 dollars for my order. What a ripoff!
Grows some nuts and be a boss and get better drivers so people can tip, I won't tip for messed up food that spilled in the bag or take 45 mins to get here, grow up drivers and you will make money!
I have had so many issues with Skip the Dishes since I started ordering. Drivers do whatever they want, and there is "nothing anyone can do". Tonight just put me over the edge with this company to where I will never order from them again. I ordered from a restaurant less than 15 minutes away. The driver picked up the order, and I waited over 20 minutes watching his car not move. I chatted with Joel from Skip and told him what was happening, and while I talked to him my driver marked my order delivered. I went outside and checked all around my house and nothing. I said this to Joel and he left the chat. I then called and they said the driver claimed I was outside of his zone... I was able to order to my address, you were able to pick it up so please tell me how it is outside the zone? He had my order for about 25-30 minutes before fraudulently marking it delivered and he kept the order for himself. Well now everything else is closed and I am stuck with no food and I spent the last 1.5 hours dealing with these imbeciles. The customer service is non existent. A refund, while I did receive it, is not what I wanted. I wanted my food! I am hungry! I will never as long as I live support this business again.
I had a driver stand at my apt door at 8pm at night with NO MASK chewing me out for 10 minutes because he said I was rude. I am a single female and I wonder if he would have done this if a MAN answered the door. Skip the Dishes did not contact me at all regarding this!
Food showed up almost an hour after delivery it was cold and gross ordered fries they weren't cooked right food was gross and delivery service shows up with freinds and other people during covid lockdown I should get a refund
I placed an order and it said it was delivered but never was. I was hesitant to order with SkiptheDishes because I have had so many bad experiences; shame on me for falling for it again. When I asked for a full refund to my credit card because I did not want to order again through SkiptheDishes, the chat was ended on me. The customer service agent, Suchet, was INCREDIBLY unhelpful and dismissive; useless and rude. Avoid SkiptheDishes - not worth the inevitable delivery errors/problems and horrific customer service.
I purchased thermal bags from skip the dishes while signing up to be a part time driver. I was given a tracking number but no order number or phone number to call if their was any issues.
The delivery through Amazon was quick and they were set to be delivered on April 20th, promptly after the long weekend.
I was at my other job when the delivery driver arrived at my apartment, resulting in me missing the phone call to let him in. No problem I thought.
I called Amazon to update the delivery instructions, but due to me ordering through skip and not Amazon, they have no information on the order and only tell me to contact skip.
Unfortunately this is no easy task, the first number they gave me was a deadline even after confirming the number. The second number did direct me to skip customer service, however they are not taking phone calls or live chat for drivers unless you are on shift. The customer live chat only directs me to an email. Which I have had no response from.
Also Amazon does not allow people to pick up their products.
Skip is a total scam and I would avoid it at all costs
Their customer service is so very bad. It is virtually impossible to talk to a person. It takes forever to find where you can do that on the website. IF you do leave an issue on their website. NO ONE CALL YOU BACK AND NO REFUNDS ARE MADE. Just such a poor business practice. I have decided to move to Uber Eats. So Done With Skip The Dishes.
I'm never disappointed with my selection from SunBeam. Always fresh and hot when it arrives. My favourite is their Fresh Soup, Smoked Salmon, tuna sandwiches, burgers, and their egg breakfasts.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS. THEY SHUT DOWN ORDERING FOR ANY PLACE THAT HAS NUTRICIOUS FOOD AT 9 PM EVEN THOUGH MANY ARE OPENED TIL MIDNIGHT. THEN IF YOU CANCEL YOUR ORDER THEY TRY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY.
I have never used this service but someone else did with my Credit Card and phone number. They ran up $450 bill in my name. I can't seem to get ahold of anyone except an a computer posing as a human.
You're basically delivering food to customers for free and paying out of pocket. Used to get some orders for $15 and $20. Now it's your regular $6 and my rating is 100% as they tell you (lie to you) that if you maintain a high acceptance rate you get better and bigger orders with bigger tips. All BS to get you to do work for them. Funny thing customers pay high fees to get food delivered to their doorstep and the delivery guy sees nothing but $6. When you reach out to customer support (cusotmer waste of time) they throw at you automated messages like "move to a hotspot" or "currently your area is not very busy" or "the system assigns orders automatically" or sorry for the inconvenience and the list of excuses goes on. Stay away. I would have given negative -5 had it allowed me. See attached deliveries. 3 shifts at 4hrs per shift. $40 to $50 in earnings then you pay them on gas. I stopped this gig. Pure exploitation by monster companies. Funny how this company operates in Canada and is still open. Ministry of labor should shut it down.

Absolute horrible customer service, I hope they go out of business, I've been using them for many years, and I spend a lot of money, when my order is totally wrong, I should get a refund, talk to multiple people, that were useless, that did not correct the problem, when I order an item, and it is wrong not sure how that is my fault, I just paid this company good money to bring it to me, and it is wrong, with no refund, do not use their service

Their drivers not deliver your order and when you ask for refund they will reject helping you because they see multiple refund requests. Ofc there would be multiple refund requests because there was no food delivered. Please do not waste your money. Either use a different delivery service or go out and buy it yourself.
Wish there was a rate level lower than "1" star that I could give. They do not even deserve 1 star.
