Today I spent 1 hour and 30 minutes for a 30 minute original wait time, driver was just driving around delivering other orders... Had to reach out to support after 45 minutes.
I canceled my order after 1 hour and a half of waiting, got a full refund for which Ill have to wait 10 business days to get and lost my time and dinner.
This is like the 100th time this has happened (not exaggerating), this is a new practice of the Skip the Dishes family. Over and over again quality of service is declining.
Skip has begun to do multiple deliveries from 1 pick up, or place multiple deliveries on a courier after he/she has accepted the other orders.
Extremely bad service, stay away.

I noticed my driver never moved for almost 1 hr. I contacted customer service to see where my food is at and if driver is okay. Long story short they said 1.5 hr delivery is fine and then ended chat. No refund. Wtf! Ontop of that, paid for overpriced food, more expensive than restaurant actually charges.
I am tired about restaurants getting a bad rap because your service is poor! Every single time I get a delivery from you it is a hassle! I have given door to door instruction, and your drivers stil can't find my house! Not only can't they find my house when they do finally call, they don't listen, argue, and hang up on us! Your service is terrible!
I received someone's chicken wings today. When I contacted support, I was told.
" Leave the order outside, in case a neighbor comes looking for it"
Really... so, how is it the person who ordered it, going to know, to go looking for their order at my house? Not only that, but covid is something to think about too! Don't think whoever ordered this food, is going to accept this order, as it's inside our house now. My mom thought we ordered it. Good greif:>/
I Will never order from SkipTheDishes again, I have credits on my account which was from my credit that they didn't return it back to the card but they left a credit on my account and next day I wasn't able to use that credit which was $30.49. They locked the account and said I can't use that account anymore, they won't give me my money, so please don't waste your money or time on this app or on there website...
I received a coupon from skipthedishes for $20 off a few days ago. I used that coupon to order some food and went to check out. The coupon applied properly and my total was a little over $23. When it came time to enter payment detail I didn't notice the coupon was removed and I was paying the full amount of a little over $40. When I contacted skipthedishes they told me the payment didn't go through and to order again eventhough by that time I already paid and had the food in hand. What a $#*! hat worthless company with the worst customer service.
Second time our food was not delivered and did not receive a credit or refund. The driver did not call or attempt to use the buzzer. Concierge also confirmed no one even attempted to deliver our order.
We ordered a meal yesterday and the wrong order arrived. I reached our to Skip the Dishes and they sent me a spiel about their unavcountability. Why use this app if they hold themselves accountable for their own drivers errors? Thankfully the resteraunt made the error right. Will never use again

Ordered some KFC today by the time we received it was cold. Why arn't they using the insulated bags to keep the food warm as we are paying so much money and the food has to be microvaved before eating it.
Does Skip driver's not care anymore? Getting a hot meal is like asking you guys to go to the moon a nd come back. Our neighbors have the same complaint.
People are going through enough stress and can't even count on Skip to bring a hot and edible order.
It is a shame that i even have to type this on your site, Now that we know that Skip does not care about there customers and only cares about the money. It is really a shame.
I recently ordered a meal from skip the dishes, not only did I not receive my meal, I could not reach anyone to give me a refund. I tried using their chat service but no response. I can not find a number to call. Terrible company
Won't refund. Didn't make it clear that they also do pick up, why do they even do pick up, poorly organized and functioning app, didn't offer any compensation for the order not being delivered and the customer service was very apathetic. Notorious for misusing employees, I knew many people who drove for Skip but hated it and couldn't even afford the gas for it due to the company not the customers. Just a poorly run buisness and sadly the only option in most cases in my small city.
After ordering from skip the dishes, the delivery was left on the front step as specified by I got no email, doorbell, door knock or text to tell me the food was delivered. Out of frustration I look on the step and found my now very cold food witch had to thrown out. Thanks Skip!. From now on I will only order from food outlets that have there own drivers or delivery service. The food providers should be aware that it's their reputation that is being destroyed not Skips. I know the drivers are just trying to make a living in trying times like these and Skip with the higher fees to the food providers are a business we don't need. Just because it's shinny and new doesn't make it better. Like all larger corporations, The shareholder is king and the food providers, drivers and end customer are the fodder to satisfy the shareholder return.
I had my food take over 40 min and the driver sat for 15 min in one location with my food.
The food was cold and I was uncertain of ita safety and threw it out.
Skip would only provide a credit with them for 50%

Said delivery time was 18 minutes for 1 hour and a half. We called the business and they said the pizza had been sitting there for an hour. They said another driver would pick it up and they would make another pizza. After waiting another half an hour we went and picked it up ourselves. This was my first…. And now last…. Time using this "service".
Ordered from them tonight and waited, noticed we forgot to put the unit number so contacted them and had it added. Said it was delivered but wasn't, when I contacted them apparently the driver said he took it to the right place and that was good enough for them and they refused to refund cause apparently somebody merely saying they did something is good enough. Not receiving the order was becoming more common will not use again

I honestly am completely dumbfounded about most of them and i am done using your app. As well i am going to tell all my friends and family to use a different delivery app.
This app will allow you to order food for PICKUP while also allowing you to leave a note saying that you need the food delivered to the back door.
Customer service wouldn't help me at all. They just kept saying I set it as a pickup order. How did I do that to? Ask their stupid app.
Just go with a different service and save yourself the frustration
Will never use them again. One order took over an hour. When I called the restaurant, they told me order had been ready waiting for 30 min. Second order took over 45 min just to pick up. I've unstalled this app ans will never use again. Horrible service.
Skip the Dishes always disappoints. I don't recommend them as a food service delivery site. With the extra charges they have begun to add on to their delivery, they're on par with Door Dash and Uber Eats with Door Dash and Uber Eats providing more reliable and fast service than that of Skip the Dishes.
As you can see in the attached photos include, the food was ordered at 11:18 AM, the first photo shows one driver 24 minutes away from delivery. Then I had to contact them because the driver was suddenly in a different part of the city, then a different driver ended up picking it up and delivering it to our office only after I followed up with customer service. From 11:18 AM, the ASAP delivery option was chosen, to finally receiving it at 12:45 PM. 0/10.
Drive picked up food for customer from our restaurant and driver eat the food. That's not our fault that's skip driver and skip fault. Skip refunded money to customer but they put down our restaurant score down day by day and they don't care customer give us thumbs up and good review on skip but my restaurant score goes down every day.
That's means skip is the fraud company.
Not recommendation any restaurant for skip service. Go with uber eat and door dash there charges less and always fair decision.
