They keep charging my card after I have called to cancel. Every year they keep charging and still claim they have no record of my calling to cancel. I will cancel the credit card before I allow another charge. These people are scammer scum.
I decided to cancel my membership and even after it's cancelled, I still get "courtesy" calls explaining what their new deals are. Not only that, but when you tell someone you're not interested because you've canceled, they keep talking over you to get their point across. This is why telemarketers in general get cussed out on a daily basis because you won't take no for an answer. Stop calling people who no longer receive your services!
They make it way to hard to cancel. I cancelled because the xm In my jeep isn't working. This morning I get a charge on my card to extend my FREE trial. Called them told them it was cancelled and I don't want it. Only after I said I was writing a review about it did they refund the money. It took almost 2 hours to get it done and then more time to make sure it was cancelled. I wouldn't recommend signing up unless you are positive you want it
At the begining is nice to hear songs and artists that probably I forgot about it, but, after 3 or so months, the only good thing is that there are no commercials but the stations repeat over and over the songs day after day like commercial stations, is like there is a recording and they not even care to do it once a week, same songs played every single day, I give it 2 stars because the quality of the sound is good otherwise I will rate it with just one, but at the end, is not worth pass the trial period.
I called to cancel my subscription and gave them all my information twice, she gave a verification number then gave me another phone number to call to cancel which is 1x800x373x3411 and it was recording on how to save on car insurance. So I hung up and the 1-800 number called me back with another recording. I tried to call the number back that I talked to the lady on and no one answered just a recording of Sirius XM. WOW it doesn't even deserve a one star rating.
Because I lease vehicles I get the service free. When the subscription expires. I get at least a half a dozen people telling me different prices. I tell them to cancel the service. They tell me the service canceled January 20,2023. I get a bill in the mail for $35.93. I pay it. I come home today with a bill for $92.66. I called them to find out what the issue is. Their response is, it's for the rest of the subscription… That I never agreed to? This service is very suspect. Even if they offer it for free do not take it.
I called and spoke to 2 different people. I signed up for the 5 dollars for 12 months deal.
I called back when i seen that instead of special for 12 months. They yall going to make it 38 dollars am months. Siriusxm is Trash and can kick rocks never again. There Is free radio and other free music apps. YALL ARE TRASH. IF 8 COULD I WOULD LEAVE ON STARS. B.S.A. TRASH.
Sirius XM does not care for their employees. My fiancé worked with Sirius xm for over a year. She had 1 bad call and they fired her. 1 bad call and they don't consider she works for a living to survive, SiriusXM doesn't consider the reality that their employees work so they can afford to live. I canceled SiriusXM and from now on everyone I know is going to know how bad they are. I will never recommend SiriusXM to anyone. In fact I will talk bad about SiriusXM to everyone and I will tell them how bad my experience was. The only reason I even considered having it was because my fiancé worked there. I ended my subscription and I won't subscribe ever again.
I have had Sirius XM on and off a few times. Every Time I stop using them I say I'm not gonna to use them anymore because they call me like their Deat collectors and I owe them money. It gets to the point to almost harassing and a few times I have blocked the numbers they've called me from just to get ot to stop for a little bit.
I am so dissappointed with how SiriusXM is set up. Absolutely no option to cancel ypur subscription when you want. They try to upsel and even when you contact them they still try to upsel when I made it clear that I do not want it. I cpuld have kept it if there was some flexibility with cancellation like amazon music or other streaming services. I will never sign up with Sirius again. Very dissappointed.
Omg - renewal every year is brutal, the folks in some other country will tell you one rate and try to pad other costs, don't give them your credit card :/

I saw a lot of peoples reviews about this company but I just got a new car I was like why not. I got the free trial I had to fight with their reps for 45mins before I was able to to get the trial. Which lost a lot of points with me and then had it for about 2 weeks. I started to get a lot of emails telling to BUY BUY BUY unsubbed from it then they readded me without any consent. Then I also started to get emails again and letters in the mail telling me to buy. The music selection they have is pretty bad its like something your parents would buy you if they don't know what music you listen too. Then the station pretty much repeats the same music over and over. Then they have "commercial free music" which is a joke because they have ads for their own station and for bands. But I got tired of all the spam and harassment on my free trial that I had to cancel it so they would stop. That is the first time I had to cancel a free trial of anything.
Waited on hold and finally decided to try chat, but it took the agent five minutes to respond to each message in the thread. 20 minutes and he hasn't even pulled up my account yet.
3 months trial with new vehicle. Way too many Emails and phone calls. I finally answered a call and when I said that I don't want to extend my service, I was hung up on.
In paying my balance of $12.79, a duplicate payment was taken and not authorized by Sirius XM. I called back 5 times& was told a refund was made to my card. It NEVER happened. Sirius XM lied!
I tried calling and never got a human to answer. So I went the chat method. 64 minutes later, my account was closed. If your thinking on canceling, allow plenty of time to accomplish that task.
I wish I could give Sirius XM zero stars, because that's exactly what they deserve after my horrendous experience with their service. For the past 13 months, I've been unknowingly hemorrhaging money to them for a service I never signed up for or used. It's the kind of nightmare you'd expect from a shady operation, not a supposedly reputable company.
First off, their billing system is an absolute mess. Somehow, they managed to link my card to an account that doesn't even belong to me. Despite multiple attempts to rectify the situation, they continued to debit my account without my consent or authorization. It's bad enough to make an honest mistake, but to compound it by refusing to refund my hard-earned money is downright disgraceful.
Their customer service is equally appalling. Instead of taking responsibility for their error and promptly issuing a refund, they offered a half-baked solution that does nothing to compensate for the financial burden they've placed on me. Their idea of resolution? Cancelling the service of the individual whose account was erroneously linked to mine and removing my card details from their system. But what about the money they've essentially stolen from me? Apparently, that's not their concern.
Sirius XM's lack of accountability and disregard for their customers' rights is utterly unacceptable. It's clear that they prioritize their bottom line over basic principles of fairness and integrity. Save yourself the headache and avoid Sirius XM at all costs. There are plenty of other legitimate and ethical companies out there that actually value their customers and provide the service they promise. Sirius XM is not one of them.
Warning to all: watch your expiration date for promotions. $24.56/ mo. For FRIGGIN RADIO after that. If it was up to me we would just stream our music...but wife wants it. Very poor value here.
Answer: Sirius xm seems to have 2 problems. The 1st, regarding the app is the fact that the songs don't line up witn either the car radio or on the app, the titles of songs. For example, say the channel you are tuning into shows the doors "light my fire". You can go to that channel and find that light my fire played 25 minutes ago and there is a different song playing altogether. For whatever reason, the have a huge problem keeping the title of songs in sync with the one that's playing. They also have an inconsistent replay button. Some times it will work fine, but other times it will just play the final few notes of the last song and wastes the "back" button and go right back to the presrnt song which would have played anyway and not waste the back button.
