Waited on hold and finally decided to try chat, but it took the agent five minutes to respond to each message in the thread. 20 minutes and he hasn't even pulled up my account yet.
Almost impossible for a person on social security to cancel. My subscription which apparently was a promotional rate was charged at 5x the rate on Friday evening, they are closed on Saturday and Sunday, and WILL NOT cancel as of Friday and refund the extra $2.
The last few years I have paid for 2 vehicles and have had a good deal. This year they took money off of my card without my permissions When I called he told me the price went and I had to pay the new price. I told him I need a better deal and he told me that there was not any thing but $89. A year so I told hom I wanted my money back and he told me I was only getting back $27. Back out of my $56. Bad business. Bad customer service!
I purchase i gift card that I didn't use the whole amount, my credit was 90 dollars now they tell me that I don't have 90 dollars but only 50 dollars! They rob you in your face.

You can try to cancel,...then sign up for the $101.83 per year promotion... that's not to bad. Proof in the attached pic.

Attempting to renew my subscription and customer service is refusing to help me. I've been left online with no response multiple times. I requested a link for my payment be sent, and still haven't received it. I've been hung up on multiple times. They are the worst. Maybe if they had a call center based in the US with English speaking reps, it might help.
I had Sirius XM for the past several years. I used to get a renewal notice. This round they just decided to up the price at three times what I was paying. Called them on it and they got rather rude in that they don't bother letting you know if any promotion has expired. They just raise the price. I have canceled my service as they are not worth it.
You should respect a customer that cancels because they may come back later. Sometimes people just don't want things anymore. Stop calling me! You guys call me everyday! Even after I bought a new car you told me I would have to speak with an agent to get the 3 month trial again. I'm not speaking to anyone.
I've had XM for years and I was very happy you played songs I haven't heard in a long time. But now the problem is these DJ's won't shut up and with them talking nonstop it's the same as having commercials. And seems like they have the same guest DJ's who play same songs by the same artist. I listen to lithium channel basically rock genre. The problem with this is lithium which used to be awesome now it's the same artist STP, soundgarden,rage against the machine, Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam. I hardly ever hear nirvana if it is it's just those same songs also! Doesn't Pearl Jam have their own station!? I love all these band especially nirvana I do t get why you can't have a variety of grunge and alternative rock on this station!? And please cut the DJ's time down I'm paying for music not 3-5 minute from these DJ's talking about the same thing every time!
I called and spoke to 2 different people. I signed up for the 5 dollars for 12 months deal.
I called back when i seen that instead of special for 12 months. They yall going to make it 38 dollars am months. Siriusxm is Trash and can kick rocks never again. There Is free radio and other free music apps. YALL ARE TRASH. IF 8 COULD I WOULD LEAVE ON STARS. B.S.A. TRASH.
Sirius XM has one of the worst customer service I've ever dealt with! All calls are routed to a center overseas & you can't instance the representative 's broken & highly accented English. Very difficult to cancel services. They insisted you answer multiple questions each time rephrasing exactly what they just asked. Will not accept "I want to cancel my service & don't ask me more questions" as a response. Take at least 30 minutes to cancel service & then they will continue to charge you after you have canceled, resulting in another 30+ minute call. Avoid this company.
Everytime I have called to cancel my service they always try to sell you another plan and it is aggravating, it's not that hard to cancel the plan. Usually on the phone 20 mins with them everytime
I called after being charged 31.00 for a month after my car purchase trial ended.
They offered me 7.99 a month promo. I said no. Then she offered 18.00 for a year. I said yes. She credited 13.00 to make it 18.00 …for a year. Today (a month later) was charged 7.99 …I called and was told that's my plan.
Done. They are shady. There are so many services for less money. Not worth the money or aggravation
Great deals on yearly subscriptions, very pleasant customer service. Please keep HOWARD on. Give him whatever he wants so he doesn't retire. Nice work with the Fantasy Football choices as well.

And to add insult to injury they up the price have had it with these businesses practices.
Company continued to charge me after cancellation then refused to refund me fully, then told me I was a liar. This is the worst company ever. Run from them!
Answer: Sirius xm seems to have 2 problems. The 1st, regarding the app is the fact that the songs don't line up witn either the car radio or on the app, the titles of songs. For example, say the channel you are tuning into shows the doors "light my fire". You can go to that channel and find that light my fire played 25 minutes ago and there is a different song playing altogether. For whatever reason, the have a huge problem keeping the title of songs in sync with the one that's playing. They also have an inconsistent replay button. Some times it will work fine, but other times it will just play the final few notes of the last song and wastes the "back" button and go right back to the presrnt song which would have played anyway and not waste the back button.
