Shopee seems more focused on earning commissions, while sellers avoid taking responsibility to protect their balance sheets. This raises the question: what's the point of buying online, especially from Shopee, if buyers are left unprotected? It's a disappointing and regretful experience.
This site only protects Seller and are not even close to providing the services of their competitors Lazada which has the best Return and Refund policy. Here in Shopee customers are not given any latitude in presenting their case. Bottom line sellers are always right. So guys if you want to buy anything online buy from Shopee last
I ordered a parcel, payment must be online, I paid. They didn't delivery my parcel I follow for refund it is 20 days passed but no parcel no payment yet. I don't think so there be any good point with them because from order to refund all services are awful.
Have a new home, new wife. We chose Shopee to decorate our home, big mistake. First, to my disgust my shopee vendors list items that they do not have nor get. Imagine the time involved in two people coming to agreement on decorations. Make orders only to find many things not available. Because Shopee condones this charade; Shopee is but a group of shameful vendors selling things they do have. I told my wife, if Shopee won't fix this nightmare, we return everything, over 67,000 Baht in products we have purchased will get returned. Shame on Shopee.
Being new to the $1 Lucky Draw promotion, I decided to check with the customer service on how it works. I was told that I would get a $1 refund if I wasn't selected. The staff did not mentioned that the refund was in shopee coins and vouchers that will expire within days.
I had to take the initiative to check with the customer service again only to realised I won't get any cash refund back after spending $4. Emailed shopee, they changed 5 representatives without informing me. All I got was sorry and things along the lines of nothing they can do. No offer to compensate or anything!

You got your order but you can't guaranteed it's perfect 'coz some products have defects. By the way, it's a good shop. You can deal any products you want from them. Good customer-service should be on at it's center overall.
Ordered listed product received copy, which was dangerous to use current protection and other features do not work as listed. Item was impossible to return for complicated procedure at my cost.
Firstly, the retailers on Shopee often sell counterfeit products, that's why they're so much cheaper.
Secondly, Shopee has unbelievably terrible customer service attitudes. I was not sent a digital voucher I'd purchased and the seller kept insisting he's sent it, and refused my refund request. I requested a refund 4 times and the seller rejected it 4 times. In which world does a marketplace platform let the seller unilaterally reject a customer's refund request without government. After I raised a dispute, Shopee also rejected my refund SIMPLY BASED ON THE SELLER'S WORD--that he'd sent it. I am going to requesting my refund and troll this damned shop online. SHOPEET-$#*!-AND-DIE.
I've already made very good purchases on the app, partially free shipping, it takes a while to get to the buyer's residence, the website and app are unstable, but it's very good.

I thought I had a very good deal when I bought a beautiful jade bangle as a Mothers' Day Gift for my mother in law from a Shopee live channel, ypxxb888.Sg
The bangle was sold to me for $288, the host said that such quality was worth at least $500 in stores as it was premium A grade, untreated natural jade!
The item that reached me did not even look like what was sent to me! I double checked my screenshots taken to confirm that too!
Still, I thought that it was a genuine A grade jade so I gave it to my mother in law!
The thing is this jade bangle was hardly A grade at all, my mother in law experienced itching whenever she wears this bangle!
She brought it to the ValueMax pawnshop and the experts said that it was bleached, dyed and then polymer filled, as they used a jeweller magnifying glass to examine it!
This explains why my mother in-law experienced itching on her sensitive skin whenever she wore the bangle!
I tried contacting Shopee Singapore, but there is nothing they can do as the guarantee period is over!
The online seller, YPXZB888.SG refuses to acknowledge this and blocked off all contact to me via the Shopee platform!

So once again, we were tried to retrieve our parcel from the Shopee courier who never sent any message to us nor contacted us in any way. We had sent out several messages to other Shopee couriers to gain any information on where our parcel was located or who had the parcel but no response at all! And then we saw that the courier added a message in Shopee that he allegedly could not contact the recipient- NOT TRUE AT ALL! Our mobile had no missed calls nor text messages! We physically went to the Shopee hub to get our parcel. The Shopee hub refused to give us our parcel and said we have to contact the courier rider! They gave us the name and mobile of the courier [Julius Cielo, *******5571]. We tried calling him 3 times while at the Shopee hub and he hung up on us (witnessed by Shopee guard and Shopee employee laughing right in front of us,{have video}). Then the courier rider sent a text message saying his mobile had low power and he was in CEBU! Not sure why the Dumaguete courier rider was in Cebu instead of delivering our parcel to our Dumaguete address nor allowing us to just pick up our parcel at the Shopee hub. Then the Shopee Courier returned our parcel to the seller without allowing us to pick up the parcel after knowing we were physically there at the HUB requesting our parcel. Who wins with this type of business process?! This process seems void of any good communication and should not be expected nor accepted in any professional business online transactions! Since this seems to happen all too often and reporting it to Shopee seems laughable, we will simply thought its best to report these Shopee incidents to any and all who are equally disappointed with this issue. And most likely, we expect Shopee to block our purchases and/or cause issues with our deliveries like they have done to so many other customers who dared to complain. Seems childish...but still sadly realistic...=)
