I would only recommend this company if you have a very, very flexible work schedule, have time to talk to customer service repeatedly, tremendous patience and not mind going back-and-forth to have things shipped back, because of the employees incompetence, and lack of knowledge of their product. If you do have a job that requires your attention and presence, and do you want to purchase something once, receive it and just wear it, drama free, I would highly recommend going to a more reputable company to purchase your shoe apparel.
Very expensive shoe's that fall apart after the first time wearing them! What is strange is that the day I was making this purchase there was a lady trying to get a refund for a pair of shoes she has just purchased a week early saying they were defective and falling apart! I should have noticed that as big Red Flag! Will never shop there again!
I ordered shoes for my grandchildren. 2 1/2 weeks later I received the order. The box is completely dilapidated. I called over the course of 2 weeks and I was told they would be delivered. They were not. I called back and was told something completely different. The automatic system stinks. It tells you are 6 in line then it is your turn, and all of a sudden the CS team has gone. This happened on several occasions. I will not use Show Carnival again.
I ordered a pair of boots for my son's girlfriend and they came with the ink security do Hickey attached. Upon contacting them they tell me to take it to the nearest store which is 3 hours each way... If I was near a store or I would have bought them at the store, RIGHT? They offered NOTHING for their error and would not ship out a new pair till they received old pair back. Like I wanna wait 3 more weeks and the snow season will be over! Returning and shopping elsewhere.
Best customer service I ever got was from a young lady named (Rhiannon) at the Beavercreek store. She was so nice and very helpful, very pleasant, such a hard worker, yet would take the time to go above and beyond her duties. We need more sweet people like Rhiannon. Everyone at that store seem very friendly, but Rhiannon went way above.
I purchased a pair of sneakers took them home wore them one day and both sneakers were cutting in to the top of my foot by the end of the day. Didn't notice it at the store but as I said as the day wore on I could just feel it pressing into the top of my foot with each step. Tried to return them and they would not let me because I wore them. I work in customer service at Lowe's and we return just about anything in any condition if somebody's not happy. I believe that's the way it should be, I'll never shop at shoe carnival again.
I tried to return a pair of shoes and was told to use the box they came in. Trouble is, the box was damaged before I ever received it. I had to purchase a new box (after paying their already ridiculous $6 restocking fee) and now they refuse to reimburse me for their negligence! Totally unacceptable business practices! I will never buy from them again and neither should you!
I ordered a pair of womans pumas online paid in full I work so they gave me a date that they would be delivered well they came a couple days earlier so I didn't have anyone here to get them so they made me wait 48 hours to see if the shoes would show up lol they were stolen off my porch so they told me since they were delivered that can't help me out with another pair or a refund. Never again will I shop there..
I bought a pair of shoes in December n received them January 10 n want to return them didn't like the way the fit. According to them I have to wait until March to be able to return them.Will never buy from here after this
I purchased my son some shoes for school & did the "rush" (overnight-$22.95) shipping option hoping they would be here in time to for the first day of school and they took 4 business days to arrive. So of course my son was unable to wear them the first day of school
Ordered 2 pair of shoes usually order for pick up but they were unavailable at the store… package finally arrived through fedex and when received package was semi open with clear tape on packing
When I opened the package only one pair of shoes were in there…. Contacted shoe carnival right away and they stated they would send to a different department and I'll be reached through email… next day received an email that I would have to contact my bank to dispute this issue they didn't even try to help… so now my daughter won't be able to compete on her dance competition because Shoe Carnival couldn't fulfill my order and won't help
Everytime I buy shoes one shoe has an obvious defect. I should know better than to go back, but I gave them another chance. Once again same issue. This time one shoe had great support, but the other one felt like my heel sunk to the floor in the shoe. You never notice until you wear the shoes for a length of time. So, If you buy shoes wear them in store, walk the store and feel the shoes in action! Feel every detail of how the shoes feel, how your feet feel and do not buy that pair if both feet and shoes do not give you total satisfaction!
My boyfriend and I went to get some good athletic shoes, the staff was kind of rude and they don't really carry a 12 in women's. I've been multiple times to look and never. Walmart carries 12 in womens... other places do as well. When I ask they look at me funny and go well you can shop in the men's section... I shouldn't have to, it's not a huge unusual size... I understand maybe a 14+ because I've never met a woman with a bigger foot than a 12/13 in women's. Also, my boyfriend tried on quite a few shoes and they always had the security tag in one of the shoe string holes so he couldn't even lace them up to try them on and he asked to have it moved, they rolled eyes and sighed. I'm just really disappointed in the staff, the quantity and the quality.
I bought shoes one month ago, the whole sole came off and they were only worn a few times, I tried to contact the company and they did not help me, I asked them if I could get the number for the manufacturers and they said they didn't have one, my overall experience was disappointing.

I was reluctant to order from Shoe Carnival because all of the negative reviews. So that's why I am writing a review for them now, because everything I had ordered was brand new, not worn or used. I have no complaints at all. I'm so happy with my purchase! Thank you Shoe Carnival!
I received via email the full details including phone number, address and purchase receipt of a random lady who shopped at Shoe Carnival. I attempted to tell Shoe Carnival and they could not care less
I made an order of 2 pairs of shoes. One came immediately and another we are STILL waiting for that's beyond the 10 day limit (almost a month). Shoe Carnival said it shipped, but FedEx continued to say it was pending. I contacted Shoe Carnival to where they agreed to send another pair free of charge. They have not given me tracking information and it has now been 9 days since the new shipment that they claimed was expedited without charge. I asked for tracking info and got an email that my order was made today! What?! I'm done. I even got an email to rate the service on these shoes I still haven't received!
I sent an item back as instructed and was supposed to get a replacement item sent within 2 days. Empty promises. After almost a month and numerous calls I am given the same mumbo jumbo how it is stuck in shipping, and they can't refund. When I say stuck in shipping means they never even shipped the item. It's in their warehouse.
I've had to dispute payment with my credit card company in hopes of getting my money back. Never shopping there again.
My gf and I went yesterday to purchase 3 pairs of shoes. I was kind of excited to get new shoes, however my experience quickly killed my joy. First, thing is that we were all rudely told to wear a mask. Then, as I forgot I had one in my pocket the sales lady told me they sell masks if I wanted to shop. I put my mask on and begrudgingly began shopping. I only found one pair of shoes that I liked yet my size was not on the shelf. I asked another salesperson if they might have my size in the back. His response was: "we only have what is on the shelves, but we can order it for you".
I replied with "no thanks, I can do that myself". I wished I could have half of the time wasted in that sad excuse for a store.
