When you pay a lot of money for a piece of construction equipment etc, and you are using a haulage company that you have never heard of, you are putting a lot of trust into a
Company that you don't, and In no doubt it can go wrong, but this company just took the job on and got it done, and I will definitely be using their services again.

I had just bought an American Fridge Freezer on Ebay and needed it collected and delivered from about 5 miles away. Shiply was easy to use and I quickly received lots of different quotes with a wide range in pricing and delivery slots.

I narrowed my choice down to one courier company and valued the ability to communicate via the secure channel of Shiply to refine and agree a +/- 2 hour collection and delivery band acceptable to all parties BEFORE committing to go with this company.

Shiply is a great service, and the company I chose comes highly recommended.

First courier demanded more money after I had paid a deposit so refused to give them my business. Shiply have decided they will keep hold of my deposit money until i use their services again. I have had to pay an additional deposit for another company. Not great company to deal with and I would like my deposit back.

Using Shiply to find a courier was easier than I thought it would be. As a first time user I was a bit nervous, but needn't have been. I had 8 offers to choose from, and was able to correspond with all to ask more questions etc. I am very happy with the one I chose and my small wardrobe was delivered on time and in the condition it left the original owner. It was much cheaper and easier than driving all that way to collect it myself.

Very happy with the service I received. My car was collected at very short notice and arrived on a well equipped vehicle. It was offloaded by winch with great care by a very friendly and professional driver. I would use this company again and recommend to friends.

Very communicative with Shiply contact, Stephanie. A little annoyed that I had to pay about $150 extra to have my car 3 days later than agreed upon. What if I didn't have an extra $150 when they already had my car? Overall definitely would use Shiply again.

I have used Shipley on a number of occasions to arrange delivery of random Ebay items and have been amazed how you get so many quotes for couriers so quickly. The ability to input an Ebay Item number is great. I have had only good experiences with all couriers used through Shipley.

I bought a door from London and I live in Yorkshire, I started with a new firm (no reviews) thinking they would be keen but they were the opposite. I started the procedure again and some companies must have worked it out purely on mileage as the cost was 3 times what the door cost. I picked this company as they had good reviews and a realistic price. It was a straight forward transaction and apart from at the beginning not contacting the vendor immediately they have stuck to their word and delivered it on time. Thank you, if I ever use a courier again I would not hesitate to use them.

Arranged delivery of large sofa from England to Northern Ireland (because so many companies on mainland UK won't ship to the rest of the UK...!), but Mike at Stopcar was the very best. Picked up as arranged and arrived punctually. Would use again.

Needed to get bulky items delivered or we had to hire a van etc to collect.
Shipley managed to arrange it quickly and cheaper than us hiring a van with all the relevant costs involved (fuel, time etc). Arrived on time and tracked. Great.

Best site where you can find help for your tailor made needs. It was hard for me to find someone to deliver for me, a very hard to move object, due to its antique value and fragile. I posted the job and in a few days from posting, my job was done! I am completely satisfied!

Drivers are not always insured and Shiply does nothing to make sure the drivers are insured. Shiply won't help you recover anything not even your deposit. This is a front company for a large number of scammers. You will be robbed.

They charged me a deposit of $22 up front before I even hired someone to pick up and deliver furniture. I never did hire someone as I decided to pick up the sofa myself and they refused to refund the $22 deposit and said I can use it for "future use". There is nothing in writing that says they will keep the deposit. I spent much time filing a complaint with my credit card company to get the $22 back. Most people don't want to spend the time to get it back and this is what Shiply is counting on. They must make a lot of money keeping the "deposit" for everyone that gives. Also they never answer their phones and they are located in the U.K., they have no offices in the U.S.

In August I booked a shipment for December. Shiply charged a deposit, which they advertised as fully refundable. In September, I cancelled that shipment to book with a different shipping company. When I asked for a refund of my deposit, rather than refunding it back to my card, they added it back as a credit on my account to use towards the next deposit I was going to place, which was slightly more. I thought this was fine, so I proceeded. In November, my move was cancelled and I reached out to them to again refund my deposit. They said they could only refund the additional part of the deposit I paid for the second booking, since the first booking was over 90 days prior. The "fully refundable deposit" never stated a timeframe, I assumed that if I cancelled before the truck was dispatched, it would be fully refunded! If they had refunded the initial deposit as I had requested, this wouldn't have happened. So, I'm out $208 for that first deposit, with absolutely zero service rendered. Read the fine print of the terms before you proceed. I was looking forward to recommending this service, but unfortunately this terrible customer service experience means I'll never use them again.

I ordered a removal from Gary83 on Shiply's platform. My furniture was stolen and Shiply's have accepted no responsibility for the theft, not even refunding the deposit that the site claims, let alone the value of my stolen property or the full delivery that I had paid in advance. Unlike equivalent marketplace platforms, they offer absolutely NO compensation or support if your property is stolen- they also clearly don't vet their suppliers so it's very easy to be scammed- the address for the supplier that they sent me after I complained was registered to a care home. Gary83 had 100s of apparently successful deliveries so its impossible to tell genuine from fake suppliers, so DO NOT USE SHIPLY- you receive no help from them at all if the companies on their site are scammers.
