The driver was superb! We had an issue which was beyond our control nothing to do with the driver. But in all circumstances the service and patience shown was exceptional! I would recommend this company in all circumstances! Brilliant job done... Thank you.
I had a job needing careful delivery of fine art from Sussex to south Wales. The quotes came in quickly, virtually all at competitive prices. There was a good choice of suppliers and I was very happy with the quality of service in booking and completing the delivery.
As the delivery was from one end of the country to the other this long journey was handled superbly by Andy who kept me posted throughout the entire period, communicating clearly on collection and the long journey and delivery delay, that was unavoidable. Great price too. Thank you.
Absolutely no problems. I was kept up to date with traffic and my belongings arrived in the condition they were sent. Very reasonable when discussing the move prior to booking, and very helping bringing my belongings inside.
Took a deposit. Two in fact totaling 415.00 then refused to confirm pick-up date, send a contract. Said their phones were down but didn't reply to emails. Now I have to place a claim with pay-pal.
Do not send them any money unless through pay-pal and you have a firm contract.
Shipy is an excellent website to get quotes quickly and easily to move heavy large items from place to place. I used them recently to get quotes for moving flats and managed to find a company that was much cheaper than the well known moving companies, but still with great service.
Shiply is an excellent web site for finding couriers to move just about anything from anywhere to anywhere. Simple to use and great couriers. I have used them to collect things including a large American fridge freezer from auction houses and my wife has used them to collect eBay items. Great service.
I can't fault the Shiply service for finding a courier - the process is slick and easy to use and the courier rating & reviews were valuable in helping me to make my selection. Nor can i fault the courier that we went with - extremely professional every step of the way. What i'm NOT impressed with, however, is the fact that the "deposit" i paid Shiply is not a deposit at all - turns out the courier doesn't see a penny of it, so in fact it's a 'finder's fee' and in my case it amounted to some 39% of the courier's actual bid (he bid £150, Shiply added their finder's fee of £59, making the total for me to pay £209). I'd also observe that when i download my VAT Receipt, it shows only the deposit of £59 and makes no mention of the full amount (£209) - not particularly helpful for my records / accounts. If it weren't for all of this this i'd be giving Shiply a 5 star rating instead of just 3 stars and, unfortunately, it means i will most probably hesitate from using them again.
A reclining electric chair has been moved over 250 miles at a price that was competitive but the knowledge of the mover meant that it was a one person job rather than a two person job. Very honest, personable and reliable mover can't recommend more.
The service makes it easy to set up transportation. Yes, the way the system is set up means you tend to get a lot of communications and wading your way through can be time consuming. Once you know the way the system works you know what to look for and pick a service that best meets your needs. Both times we have used the service pick up and delivery has been as expected.
Don't go for the first, I mean wait for a number of companies to bid. Some will bid again and come back with a cheaper second bid. Check the pass month feedback and then make your final decision.
Remember this just a site for delivery companies to bid on your work, not the delivery company themselves.
Awful, awful company. They don't vet their drivers at all. I've ended up with a delivery company who only deliver once per week, during a 3 hour window. They are now holding my sofa ransom because I'm not able to be in from 1pm-3pm on a Thursday. Shiply customer service won't intervene, were rude, unhelpful and totally useless. Worse than Gumtree. Total scam company!
So have used shiply quite a bit but this time had two rouges. 1st one, came in with the lowest quote but it turns out he dosent have any vans. He just hoovers up quotes and sends parcel force in who refuse to take the goods. So make sure you ask bidders if they are doing the job themselves, if the answer to that is no don't use them.
2nd one messed about for three weeks swore down the phone at both my collections. I cancelled him then he tried to get my stuff from the customer pretending to be the new courier. Fortunately my customer was on the ball so we called the police.
The lesson is be very careful out there as there are a lot of rouges and crooks
I use Shiplyna lot and have had good experiences and bad experiences.
Cheapest isn't always best. Always check out feedback before parting with any money and NEVER pay up front! Always get collection and delivery dates too. Some people on here think its acceptable to quote and then make you wait weeks until something comes up that fits in with their schedule!
Also ensure that the courier you chose has genuine and valid insurance.
If possible pay by PayPal goods and services or with a credit card that way you may be covered innthe event of any loss or damage.
I was a tad dubious having an unknown driver pick up my new car and drive it 600 miles however my fear soon disappeared after receiving confirmation from the company each stage of the journey and how the car felt to drive. I think he enjoyed the journey in my new BMW X6 should I ever have to get this done again I'll use this company as they're professional about the service they provide
This company was supposed to pick up my car from FL and ship it to NH for the quoted price of $800.00.I was told the truck broke down and it would be an additional $1,000.00 to ship my car. Now I'm having trouble getting my deposit back.
Used Shiply to find "shippers" to move our furniture from NV to MT. The cost $2500. The "shippers" pick up the furniture, for 3 bedrooms, coffee table, cabinet with the promised delivery within 3 weeks. Well 3 weeks are up, no furniture, and their phones are no longer in service. Contacted shiply, of course they hold No accountablity, they said the it's the hiring party's responsibility to investigate the integrity of the "shippers." Shiply sent us the contact information for the shippers and the name was B.b. How did they allow Bb to utilize their platform. So in a nutshell, Shiply is a platform where you pay "shippers" to walk in your home, pick up your furniture, and disappear. Easy for thieves to steal your stuff while you watch and get paid to do it! What a scam! I would not recommend this platform!
Highly recommend this company I am a disabled pensioner, and need a mobility scooter to get around. I used this company to move my scooter from Great Yarmouth to Windsor to be nearer my family, they were very efficient and can happily give them 5 out of 5 stars.
Once again, Shiply saved the day! I wanted to buy a rare bicycle on Gumtree, but it was at the other end of the country... I bought it anyway, hoping I could get a good deal on Shiply... and I did! Very pleasant guy brought me my bike in only a couple of days, for a quarter of the cost of my fuel (not to mention two days of my time, and wear on my car) had I done the trip myself! Second time I have used Shiply recently, and it is brilliant!

Buy something on Ebay and get it delivered timeously at fabulous rates.
