I posted a job to move a jaguar x-type from goole to Scarborough, the job was answer in less than an hour and the job was completed that same day, it was extremely cheap as well, I come across Shiply completely by accident and I'm glad I did

You have no protection with this company - AVOID THEM!

- they don't vet or qualify the drivers
- they take your $ and YOU ARE SCREWED if a driver flakes and doesn't deliver
- they won't let you put negative feedback in for a week allowing others to get scammed by the same driver

I would NEVER use them again. They take your cash regardless if the driver delivers or not.

Reserved pick up 3 months + ago. Never picked up the car, will not refund deposit. I will never use them again and I strongly recommend that you don't either.

I would always recomend Shiply because they come up with great companies that deliver far cheaper than I hoped which means I can buy parts for my camper anywhere in england and know I will be able to get them delivered at a reasonable price.

Don't drive for shiply
November 12, 2021

I'm a van driver and I took 3 loads from shiply. The 3rd, I mentioned more than one price for faster delivery times and shiply sends me a bill for $30 accusing me of trying to bypass their fees. My understanding is they charge $10 and then it's whatever I bid. Apparently that's not the case. There's some kind of fee structure but they won't tell me what it is. They won't tell me how I broke the rules. They just keep repeating a canned statement, it sounds like they're saying I charged the customer $200 when I only charged $89. They saw another price mentioned and decided they need more money... from me. I offered delivery within 3 weeks for the quoted price of $89, within 1 week for $200, and same day for $350... She picked the cheap one. Ugh, I'm such a rule breaker.? The kicker here is when I was in the area the customer didn't answer any messages, so I still have this mattress on my truck and have to drive it from Wisconsin to Indianapolis for $89 and now shiply wants $30 of that. Ridiculous! I emailed numerous times and they keep repeating the same short sentence, not explaining anything, and now are referring me to write a formal complaint to the CEO in London? FINE I'LL DO IT. Just stupid. Numerous other problems with the bidding process, load info disappearing after they accept the bid, can't upload pics, etc. Oh yeah, and they don't actually check your references so you can go ahead and put wherever down there too. Done with these jokers, it's a money scam.

Mixed bag

Accepted offer from R&W Freight to move an expensive cabinet. Good communication but serious service issues. The owner kept changing the pickup time until 8am to 10am turned into 4 in the afternoon with delivery at Midnight. The workers explained the owner had switched companies to rent their truck which caused the delay. It also meant they arrived with no furniture pads, no hand truck, and the truck had no lift gate or ramp! The guys got permission from the owner to purchase one pad and a few wimpy straps.
We lent them our hand truck and a quilt with the understanding we'd get these items back from the delivery site at a later time.
Here is the good news: the two guys who came were super nice and accommodating. They didn't know much about furniture moving but followed my husband's instructions to the letter. The cabinet arrived at its destination in very good shape. I wish there were some way of just hiring these two without going through the businesses on the Shiply site. I did not get my deposit back as promised, but the job itself was well done so that's good enough. This was a valuable learning experience! Will not use Shiply again.

Do Not Use This Company

Shiply requires a deposit to use their services. Their drivers don't show up and they won't refund your deposit. I paid the $116.00 deposit fee to ship a piece of furniture. The driver for Shiply made an appointment to pickup the piece 2 different times but did not show up. I stayed home to meet the driver both times. This process of scheduling pickup that never happened took over 3 months.
Shiply will not return my deposit because they have a 90 day return policy, even though I forwarded all communication with their driver. They REFUSE to refund my deposit with full knowledge of what transpired. They offered to allow me to use the deposit for 2 years. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN, NOR SHOULD ANYONE ELSE!

After paying one of their approved online shippers, Shiply now explains they are a NEUTRAL party that just collects a deposit for bringing you and the shipper together. My shipper had high ratings but was completely ILLEGITIMATE and now has 20 bad ratings... too late money already sent to him seperately. Shiply washes their hands of you the moment you make that deposit... that you THINK is going towards the ship amount but IT IS NOT... it is simply gone. GONE just like the additional money you then pay to the shipper, GONE with no RECOURSE.

Scammers
February 16, 2022

We schedule a shipment from NC to CA and the company that we got through SHIPLY was called Mojave logistics and the supposedly owner Erick karasek/ Erick scott asked for a full payment for the shipping witch it was $3600 but I didn't feel comfortable paying without the equipment even been picked up so we agreed $1800 to schedule and $1800 when delivered. We ended up doing a tranfer to shannon lawson/Mojave logistics for $1800. Well to make this story short. After the deposit they were playing me for like a week saying that a driver was going to be there and by the second week they stopped answering my calls and 1 month later they completely disappeared and i am out of $1800 and we sent emails to Shiply and they said they have nothing to do ones we scheduled with the company they provided. SCAMMERS!

Shiply is a great system, but for one issue, no one able to help over the weekend, Also hardly a SUPPORT when your items or item is not being collected or you have any issue, I am still awaiting my refund for a deal that never happened, Shiply are slippery they take the view they have no responsibility.
