Whenever I wanted something shipped to my home address (outside US), Shipito and DHL Express have been there. I have been using them for five years and have always had a great and positive experience. Will definitely use them again. Wonder when they'll start a similar service for UK.
I signed up at this site about 1.5 years ago, and shipped about 30 packages so far. Some of them were consolidated. Every single shipment arrived safe in my homecountry. The customer service was happy to help me, and answered all my inquiries to my complete satisfaction.
The fees are the lowest of all competitors, and they really charge the only the shipping costs calculated in the shippingcalculator beforehand (not like some other companies who are stating 70 USD shipping costs before, and then charge 180!).
Going to use the service for many more years :)
It's a ridiculous company that changes rules as they go. They are the most overpriced forwarding service. For a small package that cost 30$ they will offer these expensive 100$+ shipping fees while the cheapest airmail is completely UNRELIABLE. I lost ALL the packages sent via airmail. So that forced me to use USPS express which charged 124$ for a less than 1.5kg 30$ package. A similar package cost 39$ to ship via USPS express in Planet Express.
Please don't use shipito. They charge for everything. Their priced are expensive as hell and their only affordable one is handled by RRD logistics which is not good and lose the packages. Seriously Google RRD logistics and see the reviews. Your package shipped by airmail is going to get lost. Then you are stuck paying 100$ for a express or courier service. On top of fees and lateness. Shipito takes almost 4 days to ship a package. While planet express will do it in 2 days.
Do not go there. Don't give them more money. They are scammers.

Shipito's great when you want to buy from the US market, usually because things aren't available in you home market.
Do your home work thou, as import and handling fee's can add substantial cost's to your purchases.
Within 7 days do not respond to my questions / inquiries through the support in my account. Consider the confirmation of the created account by the "security department". All necessary confirmations and documents were sent in accordance with the rules of the service. The answer is just silence. At this stage, the review of this company -

They lost 7 packages to me. And just close all my claim. They are thieves. Dont pay them. You all the times pay more than the shipping cost and they will lost your package. The first time will be grate the others not at all. Don use shipito.
I have used Shipito for a few years now and they have never let me down, overcharged or ignored my requests or queries. I used other US freight forwarding services in the past but now exclusively Shipito because the are always better value and have the best freight options. Also the staff in the warehouse do an amazing job consolidating efficiently and saving freight. Its a good feeling when I open a box with 10 different shipments consolidated and its repacked with amazing Tetris skills much better than I could have myself, everything is undamaged and I saved hundreds on freighting items individually. The great thing is this is their 'normal' service and they seem to have systems in place to keep it happening.

You can not rely on their shipping calculator, until you have your package inside their warehouse. I have used many times shipito and I was happy. I checked their shipping calculator before sending a package to their warehouse in Austria. It return me back Fedex and the AT post. I prefer Fedex to have it delivered to my address in one week. As my package arrived to their warehouse in Austria, I realised that my only option was to pay nearly the same amount to send it with AT Post Standard and received it in 20-30 days. The problem was resolved next day by Shipito's support and it was due to Fedex. Fedex did not recognize my street name address. Shipito fixed it for me.

I had a package to send and cost me s fortune because they sent it in the wrong place at first! As I am in European Union I was needed to pay the way back. They kept the package there for more than one month and didn't wanted to send it back to me. After long, stressed conversations with them finally I paid again and sent it guess what? To another wrong address after I paid the customs fees! As this was not enough, they asked me after 1 day to pay the customs fee. In their therms and conditions is written that they have no assume about the customs fees, now they ask me to pay! I have paid the customs and everything! I have had the worst experience ever in my life! I am talking about a package that had a value of 2000 $. I hope nobody experience this ever again! I will sue them with no regrets. A package of mine returned to the warehouse. It took them a week to mark it as returned after they had received it, and then, I am still waiting until I can do something with the package. It is being held "hostage" almost.
Even though the package had arrived, the arrival indication was not reflected on the control panel even after a week.
I'd like to check the parcel, but the shipping company says it was delivered elsewhere.
A few hours after that contact, I received a message saying that the parcel had arrived.
Next, I arranged for shipping.
I got a zip code error.
The system was not able to handle delivery to countries without a zip code.
As a result, I had to issue support tickets many times.
It was very annoying, so please try to improve it.
This application is just AWESOME! The customer care is Fantastic and this is a lovely way to help people to get what they pay for and what they really want at an affordable price connecting vendors and customers all around the Globe. Have had great customer service but based upon shipping costs from buying many items from various companies feel the shipping prices are much higher than shipping costs from businesses selling products and charging for shipping.
I wanted to take a moment to say how impressed I am with your service. I first tried your service 6 years ago - and last, about a week ago. I was impressed at how quickly my merchandise was booked into my suite (±18 hours) - and how swiftly it was shipped out (couple hours after I submitted). It was remarkable, given the amount of shipments you have to deal with, judging from the size of your warehouse, on photos I have seen online.
My shipment arrived in South Africa 4 days after it hit your warehouse - awesome work!

This service is expansive and has too much fees. Be careful when using their shipping calculator, it's not true maybe is fake when you calculate the item with the same mesure and weight you get a cheap price but when the item is arrived to the warehouse you will be shocked by the new price, and also there is more fees you will paid, in total the shipping will be about 110$ to 140$ Instead what they provides in shipping calculator.
This is the last time that i will use this service.
The shipping calculator is very accurate as long as you have the exact weight and dimensions of the box. Often what is listed on the store website is item size only without taking into account the shipping packaging. To get the best estimate its best to get the exact dimensions and weight of the outer shipping container with item inside.
My package was not delivered due to an error on the documentation -- the customs declaration was unreadable (picture)-- so I requested to be refunded since the error was not on my end.
The company tried to blame me, saying the package was unclaimed. Luckily I had a copy from the unreadble document, but after I sent the proof they stopped respond my claims. I had to pay another shipping fee.

They made an error causing my package returned -- forgot to include the safety sheet I uploaded via the web-system which was a requirement to finalise the mailout... After confirming the problem my ticket was left without any response despite numerous follow ups I left there as well as opening new tickets. Cannot get any response and initiating proceedings against them. Terrible experience.
First time I used this it went perfect. The second time I had a package forwared, nothing ever arrived. After 9 weeks it came back at the USA shipito address.
They claimed it was my own fault because I was not home and their courrier only tries to deliver once and does not leave a notice or whatsoever. I checked the photographs supplied by Shipito and the package has never even been in my country!
I had delivery insurance on this package, which I paid extra for but nothing was refunded. I decided to pay a lot extra for TNT shipping but I am still waiting for it to be shipped.
This is taking weeks already now, the postage I have paid for this item is already double the value because Shipito is a really bad website that does not know what their are doing.
Don't bother to buy their insurances because they will rip you off anyway.
I've been using Shipito for quite a while now, to forward mail and packages from the US to where I am.
The service is very easy to use, the process are quite reasonable, and the support (when required) is great.
I've used Shipito services for a year now and I have had three packages sent to Brazil. I have no complaints and I really like the pictures they take when the packages arrive at the warehouse. It's been a solution for the packages that sellers don't offer shipping directly to Brazil.
