I ordered for the very first time from…
I ordered for the very first t8me from Sheplars/boot barn I've never heard of this company but I ordered a pair of shoes for a family member for Christmas i recieved my item not really inspecting it before wrapping for Christmas I took out about a week b3fore to wrap it in opened the very large box that had a 6.5 shoe in it for a women and to my surprise the "clearance" on the shoe was pretty much a difference of about 30-35$ of what I paid online for the item so it was discounted in the store but not online ok to me whatever it is what it is but what bothered me was these shoes were clearly worn the soles on the bottom were worn and dirty and the inside clearly worn because it had lint in it from a pair of socks I called the company to complain and 1. After speaking to a representative for my complaint of a worn pair of shoes I asked to speak to a manager and the manager would not speak to me he/ she refused they wouldn't send a new pair out either unless they hey the old ones in return and refused to exchange the pair of shoes for the price that was on them and not give me the difference in money back I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND REFUSE TO ORDER ANYTHING

My wife ordered a pair of Dingo boots. They came quickly but not in a Dingo's box and the soles and heels were scuffed a little. I started the return and found that they want to charge a $10 "Handling Fee" for us to return used goods! Fortunately, my wife says it's not bad enough to lose $10 on, but we will NEVER buy from these scumbags again!
This company is the worst when it comes to returning merchandise. They charge a $10 fee per item not order and they also charge a restocking fee. A shirt that I returned which cost me $46 was refunded by the return for only $24! I called and complained and the customer service rep didn't even care and just stated that was their policy. Buyer beware…. Don't order from this company! You will be sorry if the item has to be returned!
I ordered boots 3 weeks ago and made many calls to customer service. In stock, in our warehouse. Will ship tomorrow…. Yeah right… today got an email they canceled my order. WTF. DON'T buy from them. Not happy with the way they handled this!
Ordered a $228 leather vest for my wedding and there was delay after delay and just today on May 24th, I get an email saying the order was cancelled b/c they don't have it. I NEVER write bad reviews. This company is horrible. Will never buy from them ever again. A shame b/c I'm heavy spender too.
Ordered and paid for a pair of boots that were never shipped; filed for a refund that was never received; follow up by their Customer Service, still no refund. So, no boots, no money. Worst online buying experience with this company. Run the other way.
I was very interested in purchasing cowgirl boots for my wedding. I had some questions before making my online purchase so I sent an email to the customer service email which states "We aim to respond within 24 hours." Well, that email was sent on May 18. I also followed up on May 23 and still no response.

Question: 2) Why did you make a second expedition? Why not ship all 3 items at the same time? But why?

Purchased 2 pair of booties 1 pair is correct other pair is a pair of random booties not even the correct size. 2 emails later 4 chats later still no reply to my emails. So far for a response within 24 hrs. Getting very frustrated. Wouldn't buy again from them.
I ordered a Men's work mans Belt.
The package felt odd in feeling not like a belt, as UPS was driving away.
I opened the package and it was a Woman's lite blue sweater (Size 8/M).
I called Sheplers customer service and the employee said they would send me a free return shipping label.
Then I was to take it to a UPS drop off location, which is not convenient for me, as I live in a rural area.
Then when Sheplers had recieved their mistaken order, would they then send me my actual order. (maybe - 2nd time is charm).
I instead opted to get a refund, which will not be credited back to my card, until they recieve their sweater.
I asked the customer service rep if this happens very often, she said "unfortunately these days it does".

Maybe I'm more tolerant?! Ordered a hat that was shown in stock and shipping in 4 business days; obviously was not in stock since took them two weeks to ship but, other than that they charged my card just once before shipping my order, the charged amount was right, product size and colour were right too.
Therefore, 3 stars from me.

After waiting only a week, I was super excited to finally have my turquoise leather jacket. It is extremely gorgeous, however, although the tag said "XXL" it definitely fits more like a small or medium. My grandmother is now enjoying the jacket but I honestly shed a tear or two because I thought I had finally found a beautiful leather jacket that would fit someone taller and broader. Very first purchase and also the very last.
Bought a hat from them. Hat was shipped inside a box with little packing paper. No hat box or any kind of protection. Hat was smashed by UPS. Not messing with hassel of returning it since it has to be dropped off at a UPS location which us an hour from where I live. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
So I was online boot shopping and I saw on google an ad that said "sheplers sale plus 20% off". Now I have a pretty decent boot collection so I know prices on some boots and I noticed a pair of corrals that they had on "sale" for 278.00 showing the original price being 408.00. I knew for sure that it was incorrect. I even looked up the same boot on other websites and they all had the same boot listed from prices ranging from 254.00 to 279.00. I then investigated more of the boots that they have listed on "sale" like a pair of old west corona boots. Now old west is a known cheap brand of boots. They had it listed as the original price being 72.00 and the "sale price" being 48.74. Looking online found the same pair of boots on all other sites 48.00. So long story short if you came to the site looking for a deal you are NOT getting one. Stay away from sheplers.com.

Charges actually make them more expensive than buying in top market areas.
In my case I paid for the goods and shipping to delivery address then got slapped with an import charge.?
I guess they are conmen who I will never deal with again. Considering court action.
First, prices are stupid compared to Amazon. Second, they mis-calculated my sales' tax. I contacted them within 5-mins and they said "Too bad, $10 restocking charge." There is no reason to shop at this company - go elsewhere.
Ordered a $ 300.00 hat. When it arrived it was too big. Sent it back the same day. They say it's still in transit. All this going into third week. I only live 150 miles from destination, could have walked there by now. My $ 300.00 is still tied up. It only took them minute to debut my account. What a poor excuse for a business. I will never shop at Sheplers again. Wish I read the reviews
So you know the BIG BANNER at the top of the page that says "Guaranteed Christmas Delivery"... that only applies to certain items. So my item does not qualify. So here it is December 21st, and I have no Christmas gift for my husband because my item never shipped. I would highly recommend ordering elsewhere. I called their customer service multiple times, and held for about an hour each time. I finally called the number they have listed for International customers (Kansas number), and said I was placing a new order, and they picked up. Could be coincidental, but try it if you can't get through. But again... I'd order anywhere else but this false advertising, suck you in, and disappoint you company. They suck!
As a follow up to my first review, Sheplers actually redeemed themselves. The issue had been a very delayed shipment, which turned out to be only 17 days instead of the anticipated 19. Also, they were kind enough to overnight them to the delight of my 6 year old princess granddaughter. I cant give higher than three stars just because of the hassle, but they did well by us in the end. And she loves the boots!
No service at all. Just interrupted me every time I tried to speak. Will never shop here again. Wish there was a zero rating. I went with Sheplers over a less expensive site. They simply dont care to assist at all and come across annoyed when you call
Answer: I think ur probably better off buying thick wool socks that's what I did when I got the wrong size from here I just bought some big wool socks and now they fit great.
