Terrible Company

Terrible Company- you should not order from them.
Ordered boots for Christmas was told by customer service we could exchange them for a proper size. Over 2 months later they say they are still processing the return. I guess they are really criminals who take your $250 and don't send you anything.

Disappointed

Bought a few belts from them and was very disappointed in their quality. One of my favorites started to break down after a year, just like car parts only made to last so long, just after the warranty expired. Very sad. But they were very sorry, I guess that counts for something.

I ordered one belt from them for a gift to my cousin. I did standard shipping which is 5-8 business days. No bid deal that works. I waited one two weeks before calling my local post office. Sheplers states they do not ship to PO Boxes. I do not have a mailbox here at the ranch. They told me the driver would bring it directly to my door. Now near three weeks after the order was placed the package got shipped back the Sheplers facility and will be processed in the next day or so. Then will take another 5-8 business days for it to arrive. So much for a gift. Lousy service. Extremely disappointed and will NOT be shopping here anymore.

I, like you, thought "All of these bad reviews are probably just coincidence". Do NOT give these people your business, period. I ordered a pair of boots and it took 14 days to receive my order. Shipping is incredibly slow, and returns take 4 weeks to process. I hope they go out of business. Customer service representatives are rude and act as if you are annoying them.

Buy it on Amazon. Stay away, you have been warned.

How can I get these people to respond? Three months since I ordered and paid for my boots. Nothing has arrived and they have sent one email apologising for the late shipment but no shipping details. I am at a loss.

Better Than Expected
October 13, 2017

As a follow up to my first review, Sheplers actually redeemed themselves. The issue had been a very delayed shipment, which turned out to be only 17 days instead of the anticipated 19. Also, they were kind enough to overnight them to the delight of my 6 year old princess granddaughter. I cant give higher than three stars just because of the hassle, but they did well by us in the end. And she loves the boots!

OUTSTANDING!

First time buying from these guys.
Was looking for a new pair of Cowboy boots.
They don't sell close to where I live.
Picked the pair I wanted, and within 2 1/2 days there on my doorstep.
Ii live in Canada and the city I live in it takes 3 or 4 days to get a package across town.
Now for the boots themselves.
Excellent fit, excellent, quality. They are exactly what they advertise.
I don't think I've ever had as good an experience buying something online as dealing with this company.
Will definitely buy from them again.

Terrible customer service. Well I mean if lying is considered customer service. Same story as all the rest here. Placed order, said it would ship in 2 days, weeks later nothing. This is some type of internet scam or something. When I order something I understand there an be delays. No emails or calls, nothing. Terrible. It can't get worse than this so skip these scam artists and try another place. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with amateurs.

I ordered a sports coat online for my husband. It didn't fit so we called and made an exchange. We tracked the package and saw that it was delivered back to their warehouse and 4 days later we still had not received notice about when our new coat would be shipped. We called their toll free customer service for three days before anyone even answered. When they did I was put in hold for over 2 hours before I hung up. We also sent them emails for two days and NO ONE replied. I called the store and magically someone got through. Where I was told the size they said they would send is was out of stock. No one ever called to inform us of this and let us know there would be a delay. Our issue is still not solved since NO ONE will call or email us back.

Horrible Company

Sheplers is a terrible company with awful customer service! Do not buy from them! They refused to accept my return, and so I am just out $300 and just kept giving me bull$#*! about policy. If I could give them -5 stars I absolutely would.

Sheplers dont order ever

Ordered a soft flannel shirt that was over 100 dollars. When it came it was rough and horrible. Returned shirt and received email they got the return and they would process my refund within 72 hours well upon contacting them twice they stated their refunds are on back order? I now have to get my bank involved

Awful and archaic

The return/exchange process has been an absolute long drawn out nightmare. Nothing can be done online. I got a partial refund when all I wanted was a different size of the same boot. I would NEVER buy from Sheplers again

Just awful!

They offer an item, but really its not in stock. I did not find this out until I phoned several days after placing my on line order. Also its hard to get through to speak with customer service. I was put on hold with some stupid folksy cowboy recorded message. After being told that the belt I ordered was in stock and being shipped after a three week wait, I'm unclear if its being sent DHL or usps! Do not buy anything from this company.

Poor service

Ordered boots and had a confirmation only to receive a email a week later saying my order had been cancelled. When I contacted them they said the vendor was out of stock. They are taking orders without knowing if the product is even available.

No Customer Service

No customer service as indicated. Phone calls are never picked up or returned; Emails are not acknowledged. I'm waiting and waiting for a refund to process. It's frustrating and time consuming dealing with Sheplers.

I purchased a vest of 6/16/2015 for a wedding mid September. I have received multiple updates pushing the order back 2 weeks at a time. I contacted the company 4 times and they would not even give me $ back for the inconvenience and then told me that the back order date could even be pushed out more because they have no idea if the items are truly even in stock. How is this possible?! Today, I now received any additional email that said that the vest won't even be ready for the wedding. THIS HAS BEEN 3.5 months of waiting. Worst company and customer service ever.

If you need to return anything... it will take forever. Don't use the label they provide because that is shipping by slow boat around the world; then takes up to four weeks after they receive it. They are in no hurry to give you your money back... Also, if buying boots, know the pictures on website do not accurately show item. The transaction feels more like loaning them money they do not pay back in a timely manner.

Bought a pair of jeans, had to return since they were too big. They gave me a return label so I used it to drop it off. Post office lost the package and I understand it's not their fault, but customer service is pretty much non existent and uncaring. Should have gone to Boot Barn!

Excessively difficult to place, and now cannot get a confirmation of, an order for boots. After several Log-ins and the necessity to create several accounts, I am now unable to determine if my order was indeed placed. A 'live' call was of no help; simply informed that "... things are real busy this time of year..."

Better alternatives at same prices...

I placed an order on a supposedly available item that would ship right away. Three weeks have gone by and the item is still missing in action... It seems there is this Sheplers person (a one man band) managing this scam website, taking orders and then reordering from real stores, making us customers pay the real price of waiting so much. Then there is the return policy that you have to wait and receive the item to send it back and get the refund. Stay away! For sure!
