I am Chockalingam aged 38yrs and working as Team Lead with an MNC, a leading IT company in Bangalore.
I registered and I have purchased for VIP subscriptions with Shaadi.com.
I am getting lots of fake acceptances. You will get message that someone accepted your profile. When you find the number and call that contact, they will say, they did not accept and something was wrong with Shaadi.com site. This happends almost 99.9% acceptance. You will run out of contacts and you need to purchase another subscription again if you want to find contact number.
I spoke to few of those contacts and they said that they also experienced the same as they used to get fake acceptances.
Many fake profiles that you can find easily by looking at the profile information. You will see Gile's age 18 and their educational qualification is ME / MTech.
Even though you are paid member, you can not find contact detail of a bride that you like as many girls / brides have locked their contact detail like mobile number, email adddress.
Your account will be suspended or hidden.
I got a prompt to submit proof of documents again when I did not get any prompt to update valid documents before I purchase subscription.
I have submitted the documents and I am awaiting and am not sure, if I can access my profile again.
So far all profiles are fake. They accepted the invitation and they've been online 24 7 no sleep at all. I am trying to bust this scam. Most of work permit, temp. Visa holders profiles all are fake... and even from India bunch of profiles are fake. They contact me via whatsapp a sleepy lady say hello hello but on top of name it was showing business account. Same thing happen to 4 another profiles... be careful do not pay them. By credit cards. They are big fraud.
Shaadi.com is not capable of detecting fake 419 scam accounts which are designed by Africans to lure the user into greed and deception. shaadi.com has failed its commitment to indian families by advertising fake accounts for the personal profits of Africans through the proceeds of western union, money gram, and bank wire transfer. There is no package arriving to your address with large amounts of cash. The websites of the delivery companies are fake. The profiles do not reside in USA, Canada, or UK/Europe, but they are African nationals that run shaadi.com folks through fake matrimonial fraud. The staff working for shaadi.com are incapable and incompetent in detecting fake profiles created by africans.
Please use Indian newspaper ads or middlemen instead of incompetent shaadi.com. You will lose a lot of money through shaadi.com by fraudulent 419-scam (search this scam on google) accounts! The pictures are someone else plus the love and baby words are to fool you into sending your money! They first develop a online relationship with you first then ask for money..
I made profile and I delete it. Then my dad made a profile and took a membership as well. I must say it was a waste of a money. It's a worst application.
I have raised an ticket regarding this they didn't respond so far. Girls who are not interested in marriage also created their profile. I don't know whether this is matrimonial site or some other porn site.
All the proofs are attached in mail and send it to shaadi support. No response from their end
In my third and fourth ticket opened - I have highlighted how poor the customer support is for Shaadi.com. They cheat you to sign up and then don't respond to your queries or provide the service. It is a big fraud and scam.
*******706 she promise marriage, left you someday blaming you for the things you are unaware of, with as much as cash or gold or other valuables. She already is married and a mother of 1.
They deleted my profile without any violations i sent them so many mails but automatic answer girish
We have registered our cousin's profile on shaadi few months back. Before making the payment, there is no information to the customer to provide the ID proofs before or after making the payment. All of sudden, they have blocked the profile and started asking for ID proof. We don't want to make everything public to all. Definitely it can be shared to the suitable and genuine profiles.
I said, I don't want to provide the document because of the above said reason and hence asked for refund. After taking the membership, they have started the actual drama by blocking the membership and asking for ID. If they would have mentioned about the ID while making the payment, definitely I would not have taken the membership. Basically they doesn't want to refund money and hence giving all useless reasons like "provide the ID, we will extend membership... etc.,"
HENCE I REQUEST ALL THE GENUINE CUSTOMER'S PLZ KEEP THIS POINT AND THINK WELL BEFORE MAKING THE PAYMENT.
Of course i don't want to leave these rogues, i will file a complaint against them. At least other's should not face this experience.
Don't use this I think they have children as software devs at this place.
Also, Sitejabber site has a bug it won't load photos. I guess this is why we need more good people in software, people in it now can't handle it at all.
After I signed up for the regular service on Shaadi.com I was inundated with emails for the VIP Shaadi service. I was not getting a good response from the members on the regular Shaadi.com. I called the number on the VIP Shaadi email. I was told I would be matched with profiles that met my specific requirements. I was told that I would be matched with profiles that were not on the website. I was told I would be assigned a Shaadi.com representative that would answer my questions and make contact with profiles in which I was interested. I trusted the Shaadi.com representative. Big mistake. I registered for VIP Shaadi.com. The Shaadi.com called for the first few days. He responded quickly when I sent the profiles. He sent me profiles but the profiles did not meet my requirements. He said he would get in touch with profiles I sent but he never did. In the second week I emailed the representative but never got a response. I sent email for three consecutive days without a response. On the fourth day I got a response from the representative claiming he could not respond to my email because of network issues. I got in touch with his manager, his manager made excuses the lack of responses from the representative and then asked how Shaadi could serve me better. I told the manager Shaadi should keep the promises that were made to me before I signed up for the service. I told the manager to cancel the service. I called my credit card company to cancel VIP Shaadi but Shaadi.com is claiming they fulfilled the terms of the agreement with me. Save your self a lot of grief by avoiding VIP Shaadi altogether.
What a jock. A bunch of desperate males waiting a flying $#*!* landing on their $#*!* Never going on this site again as they want a Randi instead of wife which they can use for wife swapping purposes.
I guess the team run by Anupam Mittal is only interested in taking you for a ride. It is a worthless site. They are only interested in duping you. Don't subscribe. Don't buy things from Mittals. Mittals will sell their sons for money. It is one of the worst clans in the world. If you are a Mittal, change your surname.
Shaadi.com is totally a scam and it has around 95% or more fake profiles created by their own employees. I would recommend all neither to purchase any subscription from this site nor waste your time. If you buy their subscription, you will see:
1. N numbers of fake profiles (around 95% or more)
2. Fake interests on regular basis
3. None of the interest received by you will ever respond.
4. If you try their number, most of them will busy or not reachable.
5. all profiles will show online whether they are not active.
Now choice is yours.
Just a suggestion -
You can come up with new idea of new category of second marriage - Covid affected
There are many people who have lost their partners in the pandemic and sites like you can come up with free registration for such people and help them find new partners.
I bought their one year subscription. After using it for a week they blocked my account saying I have violated their rules and I have to upload id like passport, driving license etc. I live in USA and anybody here would understand how dangerous it is to share your personal details with unauthorized organization.
They don't have any call center number where you can call and try to settle this issue- you only can email them which i did and they still persist for my personal details. Anyway I am not going to share my ID with them and created a dispute about their services through my Bank.
I think shaadi.com is now involved in some kind of scam or I do not see any reason for them asking for ID. If you live in USA, Europe, Australia and so on -please do not share your ID with them or with any unauthorized institution. If you do that you just put yourself in vulnerable position.
Best personalized service. We took this service for our nephew. Finalized the match in around 2 n half months. The VIP Shaadi consultant assigned was super proactive and had good sense of connecting people. Also, Shaadi.com has a very helpful process.
Shaadi.com is a very shady website. They quickly grab money from your visa and provide several challenges so you cannot logon. We have been a member for 5 years and have paid several times on 6 month to one year plans. All of a sudden they want the user to provide passport, PAN card, employers salary slip, photo id etc before you can logon to the website. Even top banks do not ask for such validations from a customer who is using this for several years and is a paid customer. And they have such poor customer service. After earning so much profit via their customers, they are into severe cost cutting. Earlier chat was provided 24 X 7 now chat is removed, and no phone number is provided to call their help desk.
Their help desk just checks tickets and keeps answering via email. After requesting for a number to call, they provided a fictitious number which can only be called between 10 AM to 4 PM IST. And we are in North America. The number does not go through ever. What a cheap website which is making millions but behaves like a pauper. Sad. Best is to file a case so they do not treat customers so poorly.
A Very Unhappy Customer
EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED PAID CUSTOMER!
I am extremely dissatisfied, upset and troubled with shaadi and your poor customer service and management. I feel harassed as a paid member to be honest.
Sudden deactivation of my profile is causing me a lot of trouble. Firstly, I have been told that my profile is under validation after being a paid member for last few months. Secondly this should be your first step to verify the profile before taking money for membership from us.
You can't just go ahead and deactivate anyone's profile without their knowledge and consent or letting them know what the real issue is. I have already submitted a copy of my passport and proof of my employment letter. I am extremely dissatisfied and upset with your poor customer service and I would never recommend anyone to be a member on Shaadi.
Sana from your customer support. Is very dissatisfactory.
Deactivating my profile without any valid reason is more than disappointing.
Initially you said that profile is deactivated because of my fake photographs and when I sent you my proof then later on you said it is because of my fake designation/profile.
I am a paid member. Invested so much on this profile just to lie? Why would anyone lie about their photos and profile. What will I do when someone meet me in person? These are so ridiculous reasons to trouble and harass your paid VIP members. I have lost all of my trust on Shadi. Your service is dissatisfactory.
I want someone from your managerial team to call me as soon as possible. I don't want to receive any emails from you. Thank you!

It's a shame that websites go scot free by just putting a disclaimer. Shaadi.com should be sued for the mental, emotional and financial harassment caused to families. I'm disappointed that our cybercrime cell is unable to do much to track such monsters down even after registering a complaint.
Shame on these youngsters who dupe people and are a curse on humanity. For the sake of money they can fall to any extent! Feel sorry for their parents and family members that their kids turned out to be such terrible human beings!
Answer: Please don't bother with Shaadi. It's not worth the efforts and the money. My son met his wife through http://J4Love.net I'm pretty sure it's not the only honest dating site, there are bunch of other platforms and you may want to experiment. But just avoid Shaadi! It's definitely a dishonest company. They want to keep the cash flowing and they use very nefarious methods for milking the unsuspecting users for money!
Answer: Disconnect sounds suspicious make sure they talk could be married living with wife
